Sarah's POV
The atmosphere in the room felt tense, like the calm before the storm right before said storm destroy an entire coastal city. I wait patiently in the chair for anybody to say anything, but nobody really makes a move and they all struggle to figure out how to start. Eventually Ozpin let a heavy sigh and looked directly at me,
"Sadly explaining everything will be, difficult, but i guess the easiest thing to explain is the creation of Grimm." He sternly said to me, and already i was confused by what he meant, thankfully i figured that if i waited i would get my answers.
"Miss Sarah, did you ever wonder what was the purpose of the Grimm, or what caused them to be." Ozpin said, and i lean back as i thought of a response back to him,
"Yes, that is one of the many question i have asked myself over the months while i have been trying to live on this planet." I answered back to Ozpin, he made a soft laugh as he pushed his glasses up,
"Well what if i told you that there was more to the Grimm then them being the monsters hiding in the shadow, more then the mindless beast that attacks us" He calmly said, but i was starting to get annoyed at how they were all just beating around the bush.
"Okay Ozpin, just tell me what's going on, no need to sugar coat it." I bluntly told them, although it seemed that Ozpin wasn't amused by me saying that. He took a heavy sigh, then took a sip of his coffee, and he just sat in his chair, i gestured with my hand for him to go on, and eventually he did.
"What if i told you that the Grimm actually had a leader," He didn't say anything else and they all just stared at me, and i just scoffed at them,
"What like an alpha Beowolf or something?" But they all seemed more tired that i wasn't taking this serious. And Qrow didn't seem to like it since he took a step forward,
"Seriously who invited her? If she isn't going to take this seriously then there was no point in letting her in." He turns back towards me and points his finger at me,
"You have no reason to be here, much less know what we know, the people in the room here, we are all that stand between the Grimm and the people's safety!" Qrow's voice was starting to escalate that it sounded like it was bouncing off the wall till both Glynda and Ironwood grabbed Qrow's shoulder. The two looked at each other awkwardly then they took a step back, leaving Ozpin to pick up the pieces.
"I'm sorry Sarah, saying they have a leader wasn't specific enough, what i should of said is that they have a creator, one that rules them all, her being's name, is Salem." Ozpin finally answered, and it seemed like the air in the room got dense all of a sudden, everyone just got extremely quiet, and i felt it was upon me to break it.
"So what your telling me, is that there is a being that not only controls the Grimm, but creates them as well, being the only reason for the Grimm being a thing, that's what i'm getting." I restated back to everyone back in the room, and Qrow seemed to be even more upset with me now,
"Oh so she finally see's what's going on huh? Well yes that is correct, i'm more suprised your not taking this threat seriously!" He took a step towards me, and i wanted to jump onto him so badly, but i knew fighting here wasn't going to end well, so i opted to talking my way out of this.

"Qrow, believe i recognize that this is a threat, the fact that there is a being that is leading the Grimm, the Grimm were already scary enough, but the fact that they have a leader and from how you were wording it, it seems like it's a person, a smart one at that, then the only reason your alive is because of your kingdom walls and dust." They seemed to all be taken aback from my conclusion,
"What, isn't that the extent of the situation?" I look around and they all still seemed to be taken aback, until the General composed himself first,
"Ah, well your far from the point, you picked up on the information quickly." I rolled my eyes at the General, i've learned to take the most minute pieces of information in the heat of battle just so that i could win in a fight. That's what you had to do to survive on the frontier, this was nothing in comparison.
"So now my question is, why does this concerns me, and what can i do to help." Qrow took a step forward as he leaned towards me, and i could still smell the whiskey from his flask from his breathe.
"It concerns you because as i said before, we are what stands between her and the extinction of our species, if Ozpin thinks you can help then so be it." He took a step back and took a swig of his flask, but that left a question in my mind, if she could only control the Grimm, and the kingdoms were at peace, then why was she such a threat.
"I have one question left, what actually makes Salem a threat, if she can only control the Grimm, then because of your walls and all the kingdoms being at peace, she would be limited to what the Grimm can do, right?" I questioned, Ozpin breathe a deep sigh of annoyance at the realization that his coffee has finally ran out.
"Salem over the last few years has been working behind the shadows, she has her pawns working for her, and they are here, in Beacon, and i can safely assume that they are planning our downfalls." He confided, i look around the room and that starts to settle into my mind.
"so your telling me that master of all Grimm not only control the Grimm, but people that are inside one of the most influential academies in the world." they all look away from me, and i realize why Qrow wouldn't want someone like me in their "inner group", they didn't know if they should trust me with this information.
"Ozpin, do you think you can find a different person to take my spot on commentating the Vytal festival?" They all looked confused by what i meant, but i pressed again onto him,
"Just answer the question Ozpin" I shouted at him, he was taken aback by me yelling all of a sudden, but then he straightened his glasses and he nodded his head to me. Before i could continue, Glynda decided to step in and question me,
"Sarah, i have no clue what is the meaning behind this, but we are trying to discuss FAR more important maters then the Vytal Festival." She scolded me, but i ignored her, if what Ozpin said is true, then we would have to start planning for the worse, and fast.
"Ironwood, I'm going to be devoting all of my spare time with you and your specialist so you can repair and learn as much as you can about Lilith." They all looked at me confused, but before i could continue on, Ozpin finally stopped me,

"While i appreciate your enthusiasm Miss Sarah, why are you doing this all of a sudden?" I turn towards Ozpin, and i could start to feel my heart rate spike as i thought about everything,
"Ozpin you said that Salem's Pawn's are already inside of Beacon, do we have any idea who they are, or how long they have been in Beacon?" A dark tone took over his face, but he pulled out his tablet and tapped a few button then handed it to me. I saw the team that was on it, it was team from Haven that i saw a few times in the hall, but i didn't know them. It said they were here for months, one of the first teams to transfer to beacon. Which confirmed my worst fears.
"Ozpin, I'm not sure what precautions you have taken against them, but as far as i can tell it's none, and since your not trying to directly interact with them for now, we need to prepare, and fast." I got out of my seat and i started to pace as i thought of everything, but then i look up to see Ironwood standing in front of me,
"Sarah, while i appreciate that is why we have my fleet, they may be able to do a lot, but my army can crush 4 people in training." I scoffed at what he said, and i heard someone laughing, and i look behind the General to see Qrow laughing.
"You think your little ships will do anything to them? And what Salem can do?" For once i actually agreed upon what Qrow had to say. I push past Ironwood and into the center of the room,
"Qrow, i actually agree with you there, because if they had this much time to prep, then we have little to no time." Ozpin seemed to be finally done with me since he banged his hand on his desk, getting everyone's attention.
"Miss Sarah, i appreciate your concern, but what is spurring you on like this?" Realization dawned on me as i realized that i never told them why i was so concerned.
"Ozpin, the enemy had months to plan an attack, and if what you say how Salem has been acting in the shadows recently in the last few years then this doesn't make any sense to do anything bold such as this without a plan. And minor actions don't make sense, so what's been going on the last few weeks?" Realization starts to dawn on their face as they connected the pieces as well, which is what scared me the most, that these were the people that was protecting humanity couldn't even figure out their enemy.
"But if their plan is the Vytal Festival Miss Sarah, then what could they even do, there's security everywhere, and the possibility of a cyber attack is impossible with our firewalls." I rolled my eyes at their naivety.
"This is war, they have been preparing for this day most likely for months, i'm sure they found a way to deal with your ships, and i think i know how, and it all starts with a little Virus." Ironwood stomped his foot and caught all of our attention,
"That is impossible, there is no way that they could do that kind of breach of security with only a single Virus!" It was starting to grow apparent to me that it's a miracle that humanity hasn't gone extinct since how could they be so narrow minded.
"General, I've personally hacked into every device in Vale as least twice, and that's not even including what Lilith has done, if we can do that, then I'm sure they can create a virus to take over your army, which might i add you just turned into mostly machines, it would be just like what i have done to you in the past all over again." Ironwood finally realized my point and the color from his face disappeared.
"If what you say is true, and i loose control of my army, then the panic that would arise from the chaos, what could we even do at that point?" I simply stare at him, and shrug at him.
"Nothing, it would be checkmate for all of us, and the kingdom would most likely fall." I straightened my back as i faced towards the General, "with that, it's safe to say that the Grimm would swarm the kingdom, everything will fall, but that's where i come in, your obviously going to need a better form of cyber security, i can have Lilith program something far more protective then what your best desk jockeys could ever hope to create." The room was eerily silent, but then Ironwood breathe a heavy sigh.
"I do hate to admit it, but somehow in a matter of minutes you were able to analyze the threat in a far better way then we could do in weeks, we will give you all the resources we can to fix Lilith, since it seems like your rough outline of a plan relies on her, but it's at least better then waiting." I noticed that Ironwood shot a glare at Ozpin, and they both held contact for awhile, until i notice from the corner of my eyes Qrow stepping towards me.
"I guess there was reason to Ozpin letting you into our little group, i just hope that whatever you and the General do is enough to prepare us for the future."
"So do i" i whispered it to myself, but i think he somehow managed to hear it. He nodded to me, and headed back to besides Ozpin. With the conversation finally calming down, i could feel the fatigue of the day bore down on me.
"Miss Sarah, there is more that i do wish to discuss with you, but for now, you should get some rest it's been a long day for you, you will start working with the General and Winter Schnee Tomorrow, I'll make sure to clear up your schedule tomorrow. So use the rest of today to have some time with yourself and your girlfriend." He gave me a knowing smile, and i tried to retort back but it just all came out as gibberish. Eventually i just nodded to him, and ran to push the elevator button several times, as i felt my face go read waiting for the elevator to go back up.
How did he even know me and Velvet were dating!
