Sarah's POV
The elevator door opened and i walked in to see both General Ironwood and Ozpin talking with each other, not even noticing me, so i just wait patiently by the elevator as the talked to each other,
"General i will not force Sarah into this, doing so will not only be a risk to us but to her as well," Ozpin shouted out to Ironwood, I was confused by what Ozpin meant, and then Ironwood banged his hand into the desk which startled me and they both finally noticed that i was here, after i made a noise. The General turned towards me and forced on a smile,
"Ah, Miss Sarah so good of you to join us, I'm sorry about the short notice but there are several things that we needed to discuss." The General took a step towards me, but i gave him a look of resentment then he awkwardly took a step back.
I cleared my throat as i moved closer to the center of the room, "So why did you call me up here, and what were you two arguing about before i came in here" I asked the two in the room, the two looked at each other for a second but then Ironwood nodded towards Ozpin and he seemed defeated.
"We will discuss the reason of our argument later on today, The General has a Special Operative who will help manage the rebuilding of Lilith, i do believe you two met before when you first came here." I tried to think back of what Ozpin told me, the only person that came to mind was a white haired girl that was with the general, but i barely even acknowledged that she existed at the time.
"Right, as Ozpin said, since we didn't work out the details last time i thought that this would be a good time to manage everything first," The General eagerly said to me, i looked at him and i was really starting to wonder why he was in such a rush to get to Lilith, could he be expecting another White Fang attack.
"Is there a problem Miss Sarah, or should i have it so that we reschedule this for tomorrow?" Ironwood questioned me, i thought for a second but then i looked up to the two.
"General i know how much you want to learn about my tech, but why are you in such a rush, something isn't sitting right with me, first you let me off and ignore me for months, but now you want my tech as fast as possible, it's like your prepping for war." I stated to him, he looked like he had a bead of sweat going down his face, but he quickly wiped it away, and turned away from me.
Ozpin then caught my attention as he started to talk, "Miss Sarah, i know that the Generals motives may come off as, obtrusive, but believe me when i say that his intentions are for the best, but i will need to talk to the General more before i feel comfortable in letting you in on any more." He calmly took a sip out of his coffee cup, but i couldn't help but look back at him in confusion, what does he mean by 'let me in on it'.
"Oh no," Me and Ozpin turned towards the General who was looking out the window, i walk next to Ironwood and i noticed that there were two people in between people and they look like they were about to fight,

"I thought he was MIA!" The General shouted as he started running for the elevator and without any thought took it down, i was in confusion until i saw that the two were fighting each other now, i started to get concerned because there were far too many spectators too close to the fight for my liking, i quickly turned back towards Ozpin,
"Is there any direct way out of here Ozpin?" He stared at me confused for a second, until he got up and went up to a window in the corner and pushed it open, i quickly went up to it and i jumped out the window. Sadly i didn't have my helmet on so the wind was making it hard to see properly, but i was able to used my grapple in time and i was able to make sure i didn't pancake myself to the floor.
I maneuvered myself so that i landed in between the two who were fighting, i look to my left and i saw a rugged man who was staggering a bit, it was possible he was drunk. Then i look to my right and saw that it was the specialist that Ironwood called for, i gave her a nod as she realized who i was.
"I do recommend that the two of you stand down now" I authoritatively say to the two, but they appear that they disregarded me and they quickly dashed forward at each other. With me being in between the two, i quickly pull out my Pulse blade and ice pick that i had hidden behind me. I quickly hook my ice pick and i barely parry the man's great sword, and i narrowly manage to push the saber past me with my pulse blade.
"Are you another Atlas specialist?" The man drunkenly said to me, slightly slurring his words together. Before i could respond he jumped back slightly and using his great sword he shoulder bashed me throwing me backwards, i did a roll to disperse the force from the attack and i quickly jump out of it so that i was back on my feet, i look to where he was and i saw he was missing, i noticed a shadow started to form above me and instinctively i jumped back as far as i could, I just narrowly dodged getting hit by the man's great sword.
"You got some good instincts kid, what's your name?" The mysterious man asked me, but i just stayed silent as i noticed that he did manage to cut my cheek barely, i let my aura heal it as i just stared at him. The man seemed like he was starting to get annoyed with me but then he put his sword away and gestured with a 'come here' i was confused until i saw the Atlas Specialist fly past me towards the man, i barely reacted quick enough by firing my grapple and pulling her back towards me, making sure she didn't stab the unknown man.
"SCHNEE!" I heard a voice scream behind me, i turned around to see that General Ironwood finally showed up, with Ozpin right behind him. I ignored the mess going on and headed towards Ozpin who was patiently walking towards everyone, i went up to him and whispered into his ear,
"I'll be waiting in your office, you and the General have a lot of explaining to do." I ignored everything else around me until i got into the elevator to get to Ozpin's office. As soon as the door closed in front of me i felt my legs collapse and i fell to the floor of the elevator, and i let go of a heavy breathe i didn't realize i was holding in. Trying to keep up with those two made me realize that i wasn't from here, and their strength and speed made me seem like nothing in comparison, the idea itself made my stomach churn.

I took a deep breathe and stood up as i stabilized myself, the day wasn't over yet, i had to keep going for now. The door to the elevator opened and it revealed Ozpin's empty office, i should of expected as much all things considered. I went to go sit down in one of the chairs and i wait patiently for everyone to come back.
When some time passed by, i heard faint yelling coming from the elevator, and when it opened i noticed that everyone was arguing, with Ozpin being in the middle and looking like he needed more coffee.
The General quickly noticed me waiting for them all, and he straightened his posture and put on a smile, "Ah Miss Sarah, i didn't think that you would be waiting up here for us, uhm, this is truly embarrassing?" What smile he could muster quickly turned into one of embarrassment.
"General, I am a very observant person, and i can see when someone is showing weakness, i suggest you don't do that in front of me considering our relationship with each other" I coldly say to him. I turn away from him, but i heard foot steps behind me, i turn around again to be met with a saber in my face.
"You will not disrespect the General in my-" before the Atlas specialist could continue Ironwood already moved towards her and lowered her weapon.
"Winter, i know you two haven't been on the best of terms, but do not threaten her, we still need her, my apologize Sarah." He turned towards me and did a light bow, but i just waved him off.
"Don't worry about it General, she didn't know, but if you do threaten me i will make you regret it," i stated to Winter. I sat up from my seat and i popped my neck,
"I'm assuming she is supposed to oversee the reconstruction of Lilith, if that's it then i will send you a schedule that i will have time to make sure that I'm looking over what your doing to her." I explained to the General, he seemed a little bit tired at this point but he just sighed and said a soft 'very well'. I turned away from him, and faced Ozpin,
"And we need to have a talk," I stared into Ozpin's eye, and we didn't break eye contact for awhile, but eventually he let out a sigh.
"If we tell you what we know, then your entire world view will be changed are you really ready to do that Miss Sarah, your better off not knowi-" I cut him off before he could continue,
"Ozpin, my entire world view changed when i first arrived on this planet, so i could care less what revelations your hiding from me." I concluded to him, but he still didn't seem all that confident, but then i notice Ironwood taking a step forward,
"Ozpin, it's her decision, let her know what's going on." Ozpin seemed conflicted on the matter, but he let out a heavy sigh and he looked defeated.
"Very well, then Miss Schnee i think it might be better you leave us to talk," I turned towards her and she looked just as confused as how i felt, but she gave a polite nod as she turned toward the elevator. As she went to press the button the door opened to reveal the man from before and Glynda.
"Qrow, nice of you to finally join us, I'm assuming you were catching up with your niece?" Ozpin coldly said to the main, which confused me considering I've never seen Ozpin talk like this before.
The man, Qrow, just grunted as he went to take a swig from a flask he had, when he finished he noticed me and he just got a big smile on his face, "Ah, so you are the new Atlas Specialist, i was right, right?" I just sighed at him as i rolled my eyes.
"Qrow, i would appreciate that you didn't jump to conclusions so soon, this is Miss Sarah, the new teacher we have." Ozpin informed Qrow, Qrow seemed to be slightly impressed and he started to look me up and down, i felt like i was being violated just from his stare.
"She really doesn't look like who you described but who am i to judge a person." He just shrugged to himself, and i could smell the scent of alcohol coming off of him, and i had to fight the urge to not gag on the smell. I just try to ignore it and focus on the matter at hand,
"Ozpin, why is this man here, i agree upon what you have to tell me, and whatever comes with it, so why is he here?" I said to him, Ozpin just looked at me calmly as he went to take a sip from his coffee mug, then he looked back up at me, but before he could speak Qrow started talking first,
"Ozpin, don't tell me your inviting her into the inner circle? We barely know anything about her!" Qrow nearly shouted out the last part, and i almost covered my ears in response. But i was more preoccupied by what he meant 'inner circle'. But then Ozpin caught my attention by clearing his throat.
"Miss Sarah, you can trust Qrow i have trusted him with a lot over the years, he may not look like it but he is a good man. And we have a lot to discuss Miss Sarah, i do recommend you sit down for this." He said, i quietly sat down as i started to feel my heart start to beat. I then notice that all of then started to gather on the side towards Ozpin, and i thought that i might start to regret my choice. But i decided to stand tall and find out the truth.

8 237To Blunt The Sharpest Claw
The Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels are a series of New Fable genre novels that involve cats and dogs and high adventure and romance and espionage and food-fights and hotels and explosions and car chases. With large casts, exotic locations and an absurdity only possible in the absence of human characters, the Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels blend Wind in the Willows with James Bond, though with more cafes and fewer badgers. This submission is the third title in its Morigan Trilogy, beginning two-thirds of the way through the series' longest adventure yet. Here's a quick recount of what's happened so far: When Oscar Teabag-Dooven, a Velvet Paw of Asquith, is ordered to investigate how a mysterious poet, the Ar'dath-Irr, is able to travel instantaneously around the world, two very bad things happen. Firstly, he meets Lydia, an insane librarian who punches everyone in the face, and secondly, the Ar'dath-Irr reveals he is intent on taking over the world. Although this second thing might be considered worse than the first, Oscar feels differently following Lydia’s destruction of a cafe, a library and his face in one afternoon. In comparison, thwarting world domination just seems easier. Along with Binklemitre, a fellow Velvet Paw of Asquith, and Lydia, Oscar infiltrates the Ar’dath-Irr’s realm of dark poetry to discover the dog not only intends wrenching the world apart but has no intention of cleaning up afterwards. As a result, Oscar decides it’s all too hard and goes home to have a bath. After lots of arguing and the sort of food fight that posh restaurants were invented for, Lydia and Binklemitre convince him that they must stop the Ar’dath-Irr for several reasons, one of them quite serious. A vibrant cast of characters collide as Oscar, Lydia and Binklemitre battle the Ar’dath-Irr and his disciples in an adventure involving exploding cafés and appalling hotels, car chases and inadvertent surgery, dreadful poetry, lots of arguments and at least one temper-tantrum, all of which draw the three into dark and convoluted corners of a world they weren’t aware existed. Moreover, any chance of sitting down and discussing things over some buns disappears when Lydia punches the Ar’dath-Irr in the face. This results in her having a psychotic episode and Oscar getting run over by an ambulance. Although Binklemitre suffers neither, he witnesses both, which is almost as dreadful, though not nearly so messy. An enormous battle ensues, followed by a dinner party and then everything explodes.
