Cecilia's Pov

It was official! I was lost!

Earlier on, on the way to my apartment I decided to take a short cut home and that didn't go as planned. So now I was in the middle of a freaky alleyway. The alleyway was littered with bins and garbage everywhere. There was a foul odour of rotten meat that made me want to gag. Rocks sat everywhere, fallen from the decrepit buildings that were caving in on themselves.

To make the whole situation a whole lot worst, my phone battery had run out. So now I cant call anyone or use the map app on my phone. Never used it before but there's a first time for everything.

I kick a rock in frustration. But the rock has to be a pain in the ass an it hits one of the big metal bins. I cringed at the horrible screeching noise it makes. Similar to that sound made when you scrape fork against a plate.

When I was younger my older brother always used to do it purely to annoy me. My parents always used to scold him for it but that wouldn't stop him. In fact it would weirdly encourage to try and constantly annoy me.

I smiled but then a few short seconds later a frowned covered my face. Don't think about him or them I scold myself in my head.

My parents were high achievers. They cared a lot about how they looked and how they were percieved. That included me and my brother. They wanted the best for us. That's what most parents want for their kids right? Wrong. They only wanted the best for us so that that they could show off to people that they could afford it.

They wanted me to go to a private college and then go to a top University then become a doctor. Don't get me wrong saving people's life's for a living would be awesome but I don't want to be a doctor.

When I told my parents they told me I was going to become a doctor and that was final, to say I was pissed off was and understatement and obviously I said no.

I moved out of my home a few days later. My parents had said that if I lived in their house I would need to follow their rules.

I found an apartment and I purchased it with my dad's credit card and he didn't seem to notice.

Dad was a very well know business man who earned ridiculous amounts of money.

My parents didn't care that I moved out. The only thing they wanted me to do was make it quick and quiet so it wouldn't damage their reputation. My brother told me we would talk everyday, for the first few days he texted and called me but after about a week he stopped calling and texting.

I tried to call him and text him I even used watts-app he always read my messages but never replied. So I gave up I wasn't gonna keep messaging him when he was clearly ignoring me.

I felt my eyes start water. A lone tear cascaded down my cheek.

I wiped furiously at it. No I am not going cry. Not for them. Not for anyone.

All my life I had been trapped in this little bubble and now I was finally free. I loved-

I was knocked out my thoughts when I bumped something or should I say someone. I looked up to see a hooded figure. The scent of sea salt and wood smacks me in the face.

I open my mouth to apologise but nothing comes out. My mouth just opens and closes but no words seem to come out.

The hooded figure suddenly yanks their hood off. It was a man, his face was illuminated by the street lights at the end of the alleyway. They lights were slightly dimmed but I could still make out a few of his features. His deep chocolate brown eyes stared down at me with a surprised and confused look, he towered over my 5'9 frame and his hair was styled in a messy manner.

His eyes narrow into slits, to say he looks annoyed is a understatement.

"What are you doing on my territory?!" He snarls in my face anger emanating from him in waves.

He may be kinda cute but what just came out of his mouth made him seem like a crazy man.

"I don't see your name anywhere" I say looking around. My voice dripped with sarcasm. Wasn't I in a brave mood today? Here I was in an alleyway with a crazy man who thinks I'm on 'his territory', a man that also looked like he could snap me in half.

There's a glint in his eyes, he looks almost amused but there's something else too. I didn't know what it was but I did know it wasn't good.

"Do you know who I am?" He asks in what I think is genuine curiosity

"Should I?" I ask confused and slightly scared.

"Reece Dennings, leader of the London Snipers" he says looking at me closely he then lifts up his shirt showing me a tattoo of a sniper that was on the left side of his stomach just above his waist line. Casual. Just lifting your shirt for a stranger. Not that I minded the view.

I look at him with a blank look on my face. I've heard of the London Snipers a few times, they were one of the biggest gangs in London and in the entire UK. They killed without mercy and were known to have one of the most cold hearted gang leaders in England.

"I don't care" I say putting my hands on my hips. I kept on a brave face. I couldn't let him know I was absolutely crapping myself. I would rather die as the girl who stood up to the gang leader not the one that begged for her life.

His fists clench, I see his eyes flash anger. I think he's pissed off again.

"Just go home! It's not safe for girls like you around here" he says in a frustrated tone.

Girls like me? Pffft

However I do obey, I don't want to die today. I turn on my feet and am about to take a step when I remember that I'm lost.

I turn around, I look at Reece with a small smile. He raises an eyebrow.

"I'm kinda lost" I say in a small voice.

He gives me what looked like a smile. Then it vanished as quick as it came.

"I'll take you home" he says leading me to a motorbike.

He hands me a helmet.

"I am not getting on that" I say giving him back his helmet.

He pushes it back toward me. "If you want to get home tonight, you will" He says in a bored tone.

I grab the helmet and sit behind him on the bike. I was gonna regret this.

"What's your address?" He asked

I tell him my address and he nods, revving the bike.

I wrap my arms around his waist. I hear him suck in a breath. His whole back stiffens. I don't care I'm holding on to him and don't tell me he's one of those guys who are all about their personal space. He shouldn't have asked me to come on his bike if he was. What did he want me to hold on too there was nothing else here to hold on to and there was no way in hell that I was going to risk fall off! I lean on to his shoulder and to my surprise he relaxes.

I was so stupid. Who gets on a strangers bike. A stranger that said he was a gang leader.
