I was in my office doing some paperwork when I heard a scream. It sounded very familiar and it broke my heart I just knew that it was Eliana. I rushed out of my office and followed her sent that lead to the guest room she had been sleeping in. It was weird I thought she was going to move into my room with me. Opening the door I see her on the bed body full of sweat. "Are you okay? Did something happen?" I questioned concerned.

"I'm okay just a bad dream." She replied but I knew that it was more than just a dream.

"Why are you here? I thought that you were going to move into my room." I finally asked her.

"I never said I would move into your room." As I thought back to it she never got the chance to answer and I took what she just said as a no. My wolf was whimpering at the rejection from our mate.

"Oh okay. I'll just go then." I said sadly. I got up to leave when I heard her voice stopping me from leaving.

"No don't go! I was just messing with you of course I will move into your room." She rushed out. I turned around and gave her the biggest smile before going back to the bed and sitting down pulling her toward me.

"Thank you for being the best mate ever." I whispered. "Do you maybe like want to go on a date with me tonight?" He quietly asked. My voice was trembling hoping that she would say yes but I thought that she might say no.

"Umm... Can I think about it?" My heart broke hearing this. She had to think about it? That couldn't be good.

"Yeah sure." I told her before looking away.

"Yes!" She screamed making me jump not expecting her to scream and my face light up.

"Yes as in..." I was saying before she cut me off.

"Yes, I'll go on a date with you." This made me feel so happy. We stayed like this for a while before I saw the time and realized she had to go to school and I had to finish my paperwork.

"I have to do paperwork and you have school. I'll see you later." I said before getting up and leaving but not before placing a kiss on her forehead.

I was in my office trying to do my work but mostly lost in thought thinking about Eliana when there was a knock on the door. "Come in" I yelled and in walked my brother and the person who has been on my mind for the last half hour.

"Marcellus we need to talk to you about something." Kyle said in a serious tone. Kyle is always playful and never really takes anything serious so for him to sound like that you know it must be important.

"What is it, Kyle?" I asked concerned. I knew that it wasn't going to be good with him this serious.

"Yesterday I went to meet up with Marcus from Cresent Moon because he was in town for business but after that, I don't remember anything that I did. Eliana said that I was acting very out of character yesterday but I dont even remember talking to her again after we left you guys alone." Kyle explained to me and I got really angry hearing this. It sounded like someone drugged him but who and how did it happen?

"I hate to tell you this Ky but I think that you might have been drugged." I told them. I was still thinking about who did it. Then it hit me he was with Marcus.

"Are you serious? Who could have done that?" Kyle questioned aloud.

"Is there any way that Marcus could have done it?" Kyle shook his head. "Did you ever leave your drink unattended?"

"I went to the bathroom for not even two minutes!" How could he be so stupid he knows not to leave anything unattended.

"It only takes a second of you turning away from your drink. You need to start paying attention to your drinks and food before you ingest it. You two will be staying home from school today and until we figure out who did this to you." They both nodded before Kyle left leaving me alone with Eliana.

"Come here." I told her reaching out my arms. When she got close enough I pulled her down onto my lap as she wrapped her arms around me and put her head on my shoulder. "How are you?" I asked her. I wanted to know because this was all happening to her best friend.

"I am now that I'm here with you." She said and it seemed to be the truth. I gave her another big smile before giving her a brief kiss on the forehead. I rolled the chair back to my desk keeping her where she was and got back to doing the pack work I was working on. After some time had past Eliana spoke up.

"Are you hungry?"She asked out of the blue. Thinking about it I was a little but I didn't want to bother her with that. "Okay." After that, we sat in awkward silence. I was kind of ignoring her because I had gotten a letter from the council and had yet to read it and I was worried about what it said. I was going to read it but I was interrupted by them coming into my office. "Can you let me go please?" I heard Eliana say.

"Why?" I asked a little hurt that she didn't want to be in my arms anymore.

"I'm bored and I don't want to sit in your office all day." She told me. I guess that was reasonable. I unwrapped my arms from around her but not before giving her a quick kiss on the lips. As she was leaving I whispered a quiet 'I love you' hoping that she didn't hear it.

After she left I decided to open the letter from the council to see what they needed but what was in the letter left me breathless and confused.

'It has come to our attention that the last of the royal wolfs are about to come of age. We have still not been able to detect who they are because a witch has been covering their sent for 17 almost 18 years. This year since they are coming of age one of them will be able to take over the throne so we need everyone's help finding them. The information we have about them is the following, they are twins a boy and girl born on October 22, 2002. One twin has blonde hair and the other has brown or black hair but they both have blue eyes. Their father is an alpha and their mother was known as an omega even though she was royalty. She was in hiding pretending to be an omega when she found who she thought was her mate. Soon after she fell pregnant with the twins. She past away during the birth of the twins and they went to live with their father and his mate. We still do not know who their father was or what pack she recited in. If anyone has any information at all or is willing to help find the last of the royals please contact us. -The Council'

After reading the letter I sat at my desk thinking when a thought of Eliana crossed my mind. No, it can't be! I would know if she was, wouldn't I? I went across my room and got out her file.

Oh my god! Could she be the next queen? The description that the council gave and her file is almost identical and they both have a twin brother. I called my delta Ryder and my head warrior Jace to talk about what the letter said. I didn't want to get Kyle involved yet because they are best friends and he can't keep his mouth shut about anything when it comes to her.

"Hey man, what's up?" They both said coming into my office.

"I found my mate." I said simply. They both got the biggest grins on their faces. "She is an omega." I added and their smiles faltered.

"So you wait four years to find your mate just to find out that she is an omega?" Ryder said.

"I know but I guess it is what it is."I told him truthfully. I don't really care anymore that she is an omega all I care about is that she is my mate.

"Why didn't you just reject her and get a different mate?" Jace asked me.

"I was going to but I just couldn't something was stopping me from doing so." I told them. I then handed them the letter from the council. "I think that this is what stopped me. I think it is her." I told them and their facial expressions tired to surprise.

"So you think that it has to do with her family?" Ryder asked. I honestly didn't know I think it might be her but I wasn't positive.

"I don't know Ry I really don't." I said honestly.

"If what the council said is true that means that your mate is going to be very powerful. Do you think that is why you could reject her no matter how much you wanted to?" He had a point there but I didn't care. I may have wanted to reject her at one point but now I can't stand the thought of it. I didn't want to reject her anymore and it wasn't because of this newfound information it was because I fell in love with her.
