I was forced to watch Posh and Milan completely harass Prince Rama as I waited for Benny and Logan to arrive to the cafeteria.
Ew why am I even referring to him as Prince Rama? "Just say Rama, weirdo." I spoke to myself as their voices got louder.
"Your hair is so soft." Posh giggled as his hands ran through Rama's midnight black hair. "What's your hair care routine like?" He asked curiously, Rama staying quiet.
Rama looked genuinely dead. He looked like a corpse that was forced to continue on living. Underneath his puffy reddened eyes were dark grey bags, his lips pale as he completely ignored Posh.
"Posh move your hand I wanna feel it too!" Milan whined as he sounded slightly scared to say that too Posh.
"Don't make me call Dallas to fight you. Rama obviously doesn't like you touching him." Posh devilishly grinned as he leaned his head onto Rama's chiseled shoulder. "Right Rama?" Posh spoke fast, not even letting Rama have the time to respond. "Yea, see?"
Milan loudly scoffed as he rolled his bright blue eyes away from the 2. My attention quickly averted from the sight of them and then quickly glancing at Dallas who sat on a different table filled with different people.
My feet anxiously tapped against the floor as I couldn't help but feel bad as Dallas looked genuinely hurt and jealous.
The view of Dallas was quickly blocked off by another body that sat in front of me. "Eating by yourself huh? That's new. Where's your friends?" Jesse smirked as the scent of his familiar cologne began to linger around me.
I took a pause to process his sudden appearance, finally gaining enough courage to speak. "I don't know." I sighed, not sure if I should say what's really on my mind. "Listen, Jesse, I don't think we should talk to each other."
Jesse's deep blue eyes quickly drooped at me as his mouth slightly widened. "What?" The time of his voice was audibly confused. "Why?" He slightly whimpered.
Benny's story about that Tristan guy emitted through my head as I didn't know what to say back. "It's hard to explain." I just didn't want people coming after me. "But I just really don't wanna talk to you anymore." What I said quickly broke me and I could only imagine how Jesse felt.
"Micah you can't just shut someone out and and not tell them why." Jesse's incredibly masculine arms hit against the table as his eyes begged me to talk. "We barely know each other and you don't you wanna talk to me anymore? What the fuck?" His deep voice starting to rise.
"Look I heard about your ex okay?" I blurted out, making him lean back in disbelief. "I don't want any problems with anyone."
"Are you talking about Tristan?" He asked with his brows furrowed down, making me slowly nod in response. "Dude he won't do anything, fuck him! Are you scared?"

"I-I'm not scared." I couldn't help but stutter. "I just really don't want problems with anyone."
"Micah he won't hurt you. I'll take care of it." Jesse tried to cheer up our surroundings, quickly changing the subject. "Forget about him, here, let me take you somewhere." He smiled brightly as I shook my head.
"Jesse just stay away from me." I breathe out, Jesse's smile rapidly vanishing.
"Wow." Jesse's bit his lower lip as he quickly looked to the side, his eyes hastily shifting on what to look at. Jesse's body was unconsciously rocking back and forth as he seemed completely hurt by my words. "Alright." His voice was now broken, making me speak again.
"I'm sorry-" He interrupted me as he quickly got up.
"Dude you know what, there's nothing to be sorry about." Jesse threw me a fake smile as his fists clenched. "I'm used to it by now anyway. Enjoy your fucking stay here, asshole." With that, he walked away, making me close my eyes to myself.
What did I just do..
I quickly tried to regain my composure as Benny and Logan's voices got closer. "Bitch it's not my fault that me being a flamboyant flamingo bothers you so much. 80's and 90's fashion was iconic." Benny ranted. "All you wear is basic ass band t-shirts you don't even listen too and jeans that always have holes in them."
Logan began to defend himself as they sat next to me, Benny immediately noticing my face. "My clothes make me look hot as fuck so I don't care." Logan shrugged, his shoulders brushing against mine.
"Micah.." Benny let my name out very softly, looking down at me as I felt my heart beat faster. Benny already knew something was wrong and I knew if I denied it he would call me out on it, so instead, I just threw my arms around him for a tight hug. "Okay sis you about to break my neck." He slightly choked.
"Sorry." I whispered into his ear. "I just really need a hug right now."
"Is this about Jesse?" Benny queried quietly.
"Yea." I brokenly replied.
"Oh honey by all means, hug tighter if you need too." Benny comforted, making me smile behind him as I realized how good of a friend he really is.
Everyone needs to at least meet a Benny once in their life..
"I don't think I like the idea of my only quiet place being invaded by smokers." Sascha whispered as we sat next to each other in the carpet, our bodies slightly squeezed together by the bookshelves.
My eyes watched as Cadence and Rama smoked to themselves in a corner. "Yea, out of all places why smoke here?" I whispered, grabbing the piece of cookie Sascha was offering me. "Thanks."
Sascha narrowed his eyes at the boys that had huge clouds of smoke coming out of their mouths, the smell of weed reeking around the library. "What scares me the most is that they don't know that we're in here. They probably think they're the first ever people to come in here, and if they see us, they would think that we're the ones invading them." He sighed.

"Don't you talk to Cadence though?" I asked quietly. "I saw you guys in an alleyway once remember? I had to interrupt because he seemed a little too aggressive with you."
Sascha immediately shook his head in distaste, his curls falling onto his face because of his sudden movement. "Cadence just likes to follow me around. He can get a little aggressive sometimes but he does look out for me a lot." He shrugged innocently.
"Sascha." I spoke deeply, his head turning towards me. "What are your preferred pronouns?" I slightly pinched myself praying I didn't offend him.
"I'm a boy." His eyes shimmered as he tried to hold in his laughter. "You're not the first one to ask, don't worry."
Just as I tried to whisper back, Cadence began talking to Rama. "You don't speak much huh?" He asked Rama as Sascha and I eavesdropped.
Rama remained quiet and coldly ignored Cadence, his head was tilted to the side as he remained completely dead, slowly breathing out smoke. His head being tilted gave me a chance to look at his dark tattoos on the side of his tan neck, not knowing how to feel about them.
Rama's incredibly reddened eyes were slightly narrowed as his mouth was opened. My mouth slightly dropped as his pale lips began to form a sheepish smile.
Cadence began to let out a deep chuckle, watching Rama throw him the widest grin ever. "This shit can resurrect a corpse from the dead, what I tell you?"
Sascha turned towards me. "Never expected to see him smile like that." He whispered.
I felt myself let out a sharp exhale as Rama's mouth met Cadence's. Sascha's eyes widened at me as if all his innocence were completely stripped away from him.
Cadence flicked his blunt away as he cupped the back of Rama's neck, deeply kissing him back as things started to get heated, fast.
I didn't wanna be a creep and watch this.
"S-Sascha please tell me theres another exit." I gulped, hearing Cadence deeply moan into Rama.
"There's another exit." He squeaked.
"Uh yea we're leaving now!" I sharply whispered. I quickly cupped my mouth as I grabbed Sascha's hand to leave the library.
The sound of someone falling to the carpet made it's way into our ears as it was followed by Cadence's laugh. "Dude you're so high!"
The only quiet place I've found here so far and it's already taken away from me..
Benny, Logan, Andrew, and his boyfriend Leo huddled around my bed as they discussed about this upcoming bonfire.
Benny cried as he looked down, adjusting his rings. "I really wanna go with Miles, he's so freaking fine!"
Logan rolled his eyes as he repeated himself for the 10th time. "Benny I don't know why you're so scared to ask him out. Miles would probably say yes."
Leo added. "Yea dude, Miles isn't an asshole. I play basketball with him all the time and he's been talking about asking someone out for the bonfire. He said he wants it to be someone he's never talked to before."
Benny whined again. "That requirement applies to my lonely ass!" He screamed, his voice echoing around the empty cabin as we all laughed. "I wouldn't mind getting split in half at the bonfire but Miles is too perfect. I don't stand a chance with that boy."
Andrew laughed at Benny's words as he tried to speak. "Ima ask him for you." He teased.
"I will break your neck, don't play with me." Benny narrowed his eyes at him.
"You'd have to get through me." Leo smirked as he held Andrew closer to him.
"Shit, I'll break your neck too." Benny sassed as he threw both of them a dirty look.
Andrew playfully rolled his eyes. "Benny come on! You have nothing to lose. It's just Miles."
"He'll say no. I know he'll say no." Benny sounded frustrated, crossing his arms to himself.
Andrew looked down at me. "What about you Micah? You're always quiet. Who are you taking to the bonfire?" He asked as I took a deep breath in.
Logan looked intently at me as if he looked nervous for some reason. "No one. I'm probably just gonna stay in and sleep." I yawned into my pillow.
The group all just looked at each other as if they all knew something I didn't, Logan's voice starting to trail off. "W-well I figured since you're new and you haven't really been to the bonfire," He took a quick pause as he glared at Benny who was trying not to laugh. "I wanted to ask if you wanted to come with me, pasta boy." He cheekily smirked, his grayish blue eyes sparkling at me.
My cheeks heated up as my mouth dropped at everyone who looked at me amused. "You guys knew?" I asked loudly.
"Maybe we did, maybe we didn't." Benny laughed. "Say no to him just for the fuck of it." He cackled, Logan nudging his shoulder.
Logan's eyes didn't leave mine, his pale freckled cheeks beginning to burn as I threw him a warm smile. "I-I'd love too."
Logan looked slightly relieved and shocked at the same time, making me half-laugh at his facial expression. "C-cool." He nodded, awkwardly breathing to himself.
"Cool." I replied softly, trying not to make things awkward as Benny squealed to himself.
Could Logan have a thing for me?
