Y/N's P.O.V

It was now Friday, the flight with Lloyd had been Wednesday night after the whole issue with my birthday and the adventures we all had. The Royal Ball was in exactly a week.

I was in my panic arc.

I was the Prince's date to the single most important gathering of the fucking year. I didn't realize what I had gotten myself into until after I said yes.

Because apparently it's not just our Kingdoms yearly ball. No. Some of the most important people from our allied Kingdoms were coming. I had never actually been to the Ball as a guest, I had served it once but I didn't know there were people from other Kingdoms there.

I was astounded when Nya told me what it actually was when I got back from the flight with Lloyd. Yesterday had been more of a rest day. Me and Nya stayed in our rooms for the most part, until we met Nova in the village for lunch. Who too, laughed at the situation I had been put in.

"I guess this is your time." She laughed. "You are literally going to be two Princesses in one night."

KoKo had asked me if it was okay if she mentioned the whole Dragons thing later on in the night to the other Kingdoms. I, stupidly, said yes. I was about to be the center of attention for who knows how many people. But also, my mother's former allies as well. I wanted to puke.

Back to current time, I was walking around the gardens trying to find Nova. I had the day off again but she, being the head of stables, was out with the horses somewhere and I wanted to bug her. Nya was out training with the others who knows where so that was the first disappointment. Nightmare had turned invisible, trying to stay undetected until it was made final at the Ball. I could hear him and feel his presence, trying to make sure he didn't wonder off to try and play with a butterfly again.

That was almost a disater.

I was wearing black leggings that had a leather effect, a purple long sleeve athletic crop top which left only 2 inches of skin showing, and black combat boots. My hair was up in two Dutch braids and I was wearing the Necklace of Wings.

I huffed, displeased when I saw Nova was not in the stables. I threw my head back and groaned, I had no idea where my friends were.

"Bored much." I snapped my head to see a very amused Lloyd watching my fit.

"Yes, your mom cut my servant duties to only once or twice a week so now I have to try and do something with myself." I said, walking over to the blonde.

"What about the Tower?" He questioned.

"I promised the girls I wouldn't do it with them. Besides, who knows what is in those crates. It's better to have people there to see some enchanted relic take me out." I shrugged.

"Well, I know where Nova is. Master Wu would like all of us in our Ninja base. Care to join?" He held out his arm for me to take. I gave him a questioning look while he sent me a beaming smile back.

"If I die it's in your hands." I grumbled, taking his arm. "No surprises this time?"

"No, no surprises. At least not that kind, I'm sure you'll enjoy this one." He laughed as we started walking. I suddenly felt two figures behind us, so when a turned my head to look I noticed two shadows.

"Moonlight has been following me. She seems to like me." Lloyd said, answering my thoughts. I looked at him. "I'm glad she does, but it's definitely strange why she likes me but is a little aggressive to the others."

"Agressive?"

"Yeah, she bit Jay's ass the other day." He laughed. I gave him a shocked look.

"That's not the language a Prince should be using." I joked.

"You're one to talk, Princess." He remarked. "But seriously, she just nicked his pants, didn't cause any actual harm. But she growls at them too. The only ones she likes is Nya and Nova. Coles absolutely terrified of her. I don't think he's warmed up to Dragon idea just yet."

"Well, they've been through a lot. Who knows what happened to them before I got them out of that Castle." I sighed.

"Well, at least you got them out. Even if it was not exactly, per say, your best decision." Lloyd said. I poked him in response.

"And what is my best decision?" I asked, trying to tease him.

"Well, if I had to choose," he trailed off, "I'd say it was saying yes to be my date." I blushed slightly, not used to his flirty attitude.

"You're welcome." I quipped back. He chuckled at my response.

"Yes, thank you for accepting a Prince's invitation to be his date to a Royal Ball." He said. "Usually any girl would be on their knees begging to be in your position." I was absolutely floored.

"I'm sorry?" I said, not believing those words came out of his mouth.

"You heard me, Princess." He smirked, winking at me.

Rewind. Processing. Nope, still don't believe it. If you would have told me a month ago that Lloyd Garmadon, the Prince of the Elemental Kingdom, would make a dirty joke about something I did - I would have slapped you.

"Is that what you wanted me to do?" I asked, testing the waters of whatever this was.

"Only if you want to. But I wouldn't be opposed to seeing you like that. As long as I am the only one to see you like that." Y/N.exe has officially stopped working. I'm done. Tap the fuck out.

I blame Kai. Kai definitely is the one who rubbed off on him. The flirty asshole definitely taught him, I wouldn't be suprised if he put Lloyd up to this. The little shit.

"No remark on that one?" He said, his ego now sky high. "First time I've ever seen you this speechless."

Quick, say something. Be a smart ass.

"Fuck you." Yeah, that'll show him!

"I'll have you doing that soon enough."

"I'm keeping my mouth shut from now on." I mumbled, my face a bright red now.

"That's to bad, I'm sure your mouth being open is a pretty good sight." He said, starting to laugh at my embrassed expression.

"Lloyd, stop. You're making me red." I whined, pushing my head into his sleeve to try and hide my face.

"I quite enjoy seeing you flustered. Makes me feel like I won."

"Shut the fuck up you asshat." I grumbled.

"Ohhh, feisty I see." He said, letting out a laugh again. "Alright, alright I'm done, for now." I slowly pulled my head out from his sleeve. I would get him back later today, I 100% am determined to get him to blush and shut him the fuck up. I need to plot something. What gets guys so flustered they can't talk? Besides the obvious, I wasn't ready to actually do anything physical in that sense.

"How much longer?" I said, changing the subject.

"No long. It's supposed to be a secret so the point is no one will find it." He said.

"But I'm here."

"Yes you are."

"So it's not a secret."

"If I asked a random person in the village to tell me where this is, they wouldn't know. A secret can still be a secret between a group of people. You are in the group of people." Lloyd responded.

"Yeah, yeah. But you told me the secret." I said. "So it's technically no longer a secret when it's just the two of us."

"Fine, you win." Lloyd said, probably agreeing just to shut me up. "We are here."

"Ah, yes. Here is a lake and a water fall and a bunch of trees." I said taking in the scenery. Nightmare and Moonlight revealed themselves. "What is here exactly. It's beautiful, and I'm sure its a great spot. But this doesn't scream super secret Ninja base."

"Good. That's the point." He said. He began to walk straight for the water, dragging me with him.

"Lloyd, I don't want to go for a swim right now." I said, worried about getting drenched.

"Dont worry, you'll be fine." Lloyd laughed. He saw my expression of disbelief and rolled his eyes. With ease he picked me up bridal style and carried me into the water.

"Lloyd! Lloyd - wait. How are you walking on the water?" I said realizing he wasing going deeper, but staying the same level. He only had an inch of his foot in the water, I was confused. Ninja magic I guess.

"Ninja magic." Called it.

"You can put me down now. Unless I will sink, in that case please keep me above the water." I said.

"I quite like carrying you." He said, continuing to the middle of the lake. The 2 Dragons joined us and stood by our side, somehow not sinking either. I raised my brow in confusion at the blonde. "I'm always full of surprises, sweetheart. You should know this by now."

It really was Ninja magic, because before I knew it the water below us moved to reveal some sort of floor that mimicked what should be under us. The floor started to lower and once we were low enough water went over out heads to conceal what ever this was. You know, after my birthday I've just stopped questioning stuff and start going with the flow - for the most part.

"Ninja magic, huh?" I said, glancing up at Lloyd.

"Gotta keep you on your toes somehow." He snickered. Suddenly we were on the ground, a very advanced looking door opened and

"Holy fucking shit!" I exclaimed. The door opened to reveal what seemed to be the coolest looking thing I've ever seen. The place was huge. I didnt even know how to describe it.

"Welcome to our Secret Ninja Base, which is no secret now to you." Lloyd said, nudging me slightly as my mouth hung open in shock. "Told you your mouth being open would be a good sight." He said in a low whisper to my ear.

See, normally I would have blushed and melted into a puddle, but I was to much in shock. With my mouth still open in shock and my brows furrowed as I just stood there, I smacked Lloyd in his gut.

"Ow! Y/N." He whined.

"Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon what the fuck is it I'm looking at exactly." I said.

"Would you stop using my full name. It's weird." He huffed.

"No, but you didn't respond to my question."

"As I said before, it's the Secret Ninja base." He said. He placed his hand on my back and guided me out of the moving box, probably a big elevator.

"Yeah, I got that part." I said, watching carefully as we made our way down the path that had nothing next to it, it was just this path and if you fall you disappeared into darkness. "But is this - what - I am so still in shock give me a second to comprehend what it is exactly I'm looking at." We stopped in the first platform which had a white circle on it after going under a entry way sign that had marks I've never seen before.

"Welcome, Y/N." I snapped my head and saw Master Wu and the others all standing there. When did they just decide to appear, oh there's Nova.

"Yup." I said. "This is super weird."

"Not weird, just different." Kai shrugged like it was nothing. I then glanced at Nya who smiled at me, then her smile faltered.

"You cant get mad at me for this! I was actually the one who said we should bring you and Nova here after everything that's been going on!" She said, defending herself and throwing her hands up.

"Yeah, it's all good. So, uh, how exactly does this place-" I trailed off.

"Work? It's technology!" Jay said.

"I was going to say exist but that terminology can exist too." I said. "How exactly did you get technology this advanced? And how is there a giant hole in the ground like this and the ground above us isn't, like, falling creating a sinkhole?"

"We used our powers first." Lloyd said. "Cole used his Earth element to create this under ground area while Nya used hers to settle the water above while Jay and Zane constructed the elevator and the protected screen under that layer of water. There is only a small section you can walk on for more concealment. Once we had that down we constructed out. With Jay's powers he was able to build an energy core that is powerful enough to power everything down here. Kai helped us weld everything together and Karloff helped us find metal - he doesn't know it was for this base. Karloff can't keep secrets so we kinda told him it was for something else. But we built it with Ninja magic."

"What is it with you and your Ninja magic?" I asked.

"Dont ask." Cole grumbled.

"I asked for all of you to be here for a reason." Master Wu interrupted. "After Y/N's little adventure," ouch, "I have decided it is best to finally teach you all about the other Kingdoms and take the next step in your Ninja training, Spinjitzu."

"Finally!" Nya squealed. "We get to learn Spinjitzu!"

"Spin-what-zu?" Nova said.

"Spinjitzu, it's something that finally determines being a Ninja!" Nya explained.

"Its a fighting style that only Elemental Masters can do, with the exception of a few people." Lloyd explained. Nova came to my side, seeing as this probably wasn't for us but it would be one hell of a time to watch.

"Nova, I would like to teach you some basic training to sharpen your fighting skills." Wu said.

"Uh, what?" Nova said, shocked.

"I would like to teach you how to fight." Wu repeated. "I understand the laws are against that, but with what could potentially come, it would be best."

"Yeah, by the way, are you going to take care of that any time soon? Cause right now we are living in a misogynistic time." I said, turning to Lloyd.

"Once I become King I promise that is the first thing I will do. My mother cannot overrule anything set in place by my ancestors. Seeing how much they didn't want woman in power, they made sure no woman could overturn their orders. Probably in hopes that every King after them would continue to carry their views. That is also why my mother has not had any issue with you three especially and has kept it from the elders." Lloyd explained.

"Well, that's great news. Nova, you know self defense so it shouldn't be hard to learn how to use a weapon." I said.

"Well yeah. I learned self defense because I work in the Castle but I was never allowed to join anything in regards of fighting. But using a weapon is a lot different then jabbing someone in the throat." She said.

"Then it's settled, first we will practice some training and get Nova and Y/N up to pace with training you guys have done."

"Me?"

"Yes, Y/N, you will be learning Spinjitzu too. And Nova, since you are an Elemental Master you too will build up to learn it as well." Master Wu said. I turned to look at Nova, giving her a 'what the fuck did we just get into' look before turning back to the others who were now walking forward to the other platform. The one with the giant screen.

"First will be learning about the different Kingdoms and the powers they possess." Wu said. Me and Nova got knocked out of our trance and joined the others, following them up the ramp to the area in front of the giant screen. I don't know anymore. I feel like I'm numb to big suprises.

Wu turned the screen on as we all stood side to side in the middle of the platform, watching as he pulled some stuff up.

"In the beginning of time there were multiple different realms that lived in harmony. Each had their own team of heros and of course, with heros came villains. Each realm had a different issue, some realms were pure evil. Because while darkness can live on its own, light cannot. Light will cast a shadow and in every shadow, there is darkness. This was the Realm Crystal." He showed a picture on the screen of a blue looking diamond. "It was held in a realm know one knew about, but it existed. It was told to have the power to create a portal between realms for anyone to cross over." He turned to us.

"However, there is one realm that had creatures that contained the ability to travel realms. And that was the Dragons of the Iris Realm. They could transport both items and people in-between each realm. This here is a picture of what that realm used to look like." He then showed pictures of islands that were far apart but could been sees, there were also floating islands as well. He showed a few more pictures of the realm. It was beautiful, it was very green and gave over grown enchanted vibes to it. Wait-

"Is that Nightmare?" I asked, pointing to a Dragon in the corner of the picture.

"That is a Night Fury, yes. But it is not Nightmare. Your Dragons stem to this realm, but please let me finish some explanations before you ask more questions." I furrowed my brows together in confusion.

"This was the Miraculous Realm. Each realm had a name based on its hero's and their ability. The Miraculous were jewelry that contained special abilities based on animals. The main one that you all have heard about is the Ladybug Miraculous, which holds the ability of creation. There is also the Black Cat Miraculous, which holds the ability of destruction. Each Miraculous is paired with a small creature called a Kwami. They cannot be photographed other wise I would show you, but these are some sketches of them." He showed sketches of the Kwamis and pictures of the Miraculous. "This is called the Mother Box but it has also got the name Miracle Box, either one is correct. There are over a dozen Miraculous's that we know of."

"This is the Serpentine Realm. Which you all are familiar with. Each island in this realm was a different climate for each kinda of snake. As of our knowledge, the only snake that did not survive was the Anacondrai." He then showed the pictures of the different snakes and their islands in their realm.

"I hate snakes." Kai mumbled.

"You mentioned that their were villains to each realm, what were they?" Nova asked.

"The Miraculous Realm had a villain called Hawkmoth who vacated to an island far away from the main source of their Kingdom. They called their city Paris while the rest of the island was considered a country called France. Hawkmoth had stolen 2 Miraculous's from the Miraculous temple which was guarden by an old friend of mine, Fu. He was the Miraculous Guardian. Hawkmoth and his wife used the Miraculous's, but it is believed his wife wanted it for good. It is unknown how his wife, who used the Peacock Miraculous ended up with it broken. But if a Miraculous is broken and someone uses is, the effect can be detrimental. His wife died, and he made is his mission to get the Ladybug and Black Cat Miraculous because with the power of creation and destruction combined, it grants whoever possess that power one wish. Hawkmoth figured out a way to use the Butterfly Miraculous in an evil way, a way it was never intended to be used. Unfortunately, that is as much as I know as of now." He said.

"What about the Iris Realm?" I asked.

"The Iris Realm had more than one villain because of the Dragons, they became a target after work got out. First was an easier villain, Dragon Hunters. Their name gives all the credit needed. They were skilled hunts men who would travel beyond the Kingdom of Dragons and hunt the ones who freely roamed. There was other islands in the realm that would trade different goods for Dragon skin and other remains they could get their hands on." I felt my stomach drop. "They had special arrows coated with a special substance that could send a Dragon into a frenzied state with the nick of it. It didn't kill them but it did effect all the senses the Dragon had and if it was a Dragon that could fly, it made its wings give out."

"That's awful." Nova shuddered.

"It is. The only other villains that existed were villains of other Realms who would capture Dragons that the Dragon Hunters sold so they had the ability to travel realms." He turned his back to us. "That is what caused the crashing of realms to begin."

"The what?" Kai asked.
