Y/N's P.O.V

"Y/N please calm down." Maya said trying to reason with me.

"No! That thing is my father and you want me to calm down?!" I exclaimed. Nova and Nya gave me a sympathetic look while Jay took his rightful place next to the other so called Ninja.

"Y/N, we are all going to go up to the Bridge and have a talk. I am so disappointed in you!" Ray shouted, now annoyed at my outburst.

"Absolutely not! What kind of talk is it we need to have? Because that whole island was quite the secret you kept from me! You didn't think to tell me the truth!"

"Y/N we never kept secrets! And the ones we did keep were to keep you and the others safe! Did you stop to think about if you would have gotten out alive if Jay hadn't let us know! Now, all of you, upstairs now!" Ray ordered. I had enough, putting my foot down I let out all the emotions I had been feeling in these past hours.

"No! Stop with the secrets! Did you ever stop and think that the secrets you refuse to tell people to 'save' them or 'protect' them are actually doing more harm then good!" I exclaimed, out of breath. "You never, ever told me anything about my mom! I had to learn about her throw a book Ray! A book! You've kept my past from me for so long and it's not fair! We're you ever actually going to tell me! Hell, you could have explained what the compass was before I fell into its spell. You could have actually told me what was going on on MY Island! Were you ever going to tell me that despite them being stone everyone is still alive, especially my mother!"

"What." Ray said under his breath.

"She has a heart beat! And I didn't realize it, but all of them do! Nova made a point that despite the fact that every thing was destroyed and everything was dead, stuff was still growing!" Ray, Maya, Wu, and Turner all had shocked looks. "And finally, the secret of me just being me! You had to take me and raise me ad your daughter! But you wouldn't tell them," I shouted pointing to Kai and Nya, "I called them my siblings, I shared a room with them! You had no issue telling me that Nya was training, but when it came to me, why was it such a big deal! Don't you think, considering how close they are to me, they have a right to know who I really was! I didn't tell them, and that's on me. I should have." I had stopped screaming at this point.

"Y/N I did it to pro-"

"Protect me. Isn't that what I just said. You kept this secret to protect me. To shield me. You said this stuff would happen if people found out who I was. Well guess what, people know now. And the only thing that happened, was me coming here because you kept me in the dark!" I exclaimed.

"I did not keep you in the dark." Ray said, raining his voice.

"Why can't you just admit you were wrong! If you would have told me BEFORE I turned 18 and there was this big chance all this stuff would have happend, do you think maybe I wouldn't gave gone out and tried to find an answer my self? If you had just told me about all the books you had about my mom, about my Kingdom, about the Dragons, and everything else that is in those journals, or even told me that there was a possibility a compass would have started talking to me in my head to convince me to go home so that my dad could finally get to me, that I wouldn't have listened to it?"

He gave me a silent stare.

"An finally, me, Nightmare, and Moonlight had to save you from going in there! We got out, in case you didn't notice." I said, putting my hands on my hips. "And thank you for telling me that I have the ability to unstone things. Cause they were the ones protecting my mother. And now they are here."

"Y/N, we never knew what you were even capable of. It was all a mystery to us as well." Maya reasoned.

"Then maybe you should have told me that and given me my mom's journal about her powers so maybe, just maybe, I could do research into what I could actually do?" I said, tilting my head in a attitudish manner.

"What did you take from this island?"wu cuts off. I knew something was off.

"We didn't take anything." I said, my tone not changing. Nova and Nya didn't say anything. Wu then looked at Jay. And of course, the blabber mouth he is, shrunk into his scarf and blurted,

"They have the Dragon Eye." All three of us groaned and sent him a look.

"Y/N hand it over to me now." Ray said, raising a brow at me.

"No."

"Exuse me?" He said, shocked that I had actually said no after always doing what I was told and never really talking back.

"You heard me Ray. That thing, is my right. I will not let you take and hide another part of my past from me!" I said, raising my voice again. "What else is hidden that I didn't find? Other than the key to the Dragon Den, which apparently is kept in the Vault back in the Castle of Elements?"

"All the crates in that room you were in are from that Kingdom. Including the crowns and other relics." Jay said, out of the blue. Ray gave him a deathly glare.

"Oh, so when Jay's outbursts negatively affect you, you don't like it." I sassed.

"Jay where's the Dragon Eye." Ray said, giving him a stern look.

"Jay I swear to-"

"Nova has it." For fucks sake.

"Nova hand it over. That's an order." Ray said walking over to her. She took a step back and defensively grabbed her bag strap. Nightmare immediately jumped in, stepping in front of me and Nova and let a very loud roar to Ray. He continued to growl with his mouth slightly open to where you could see his teeth.

"Night Furys and Light Furys can retract their teeth so him showing you his teeth and not a gummy smile is not a good sign." Nova added informatively. "Y/N is right, she's been kept from a whole room of things that should have been hers when she was old enough, but before she turned 18. I won't let you take this from her. Now after what we just saw and went through."

Nya came over and stood next to us as well. It was a few seconds later that Moonlight then came and sat behind us. She nudged her head under my left arm and let out a purr as she looked up at me with a very Dragon like smile. I rubbed her head a gave a smile back. I looking back up at Ray I gave a more sarcastic smile.

"Great, now that that's settled, I think we should eat."

The ride back definitely felt longer as the air was so tense around us. I stayed with Nova and Nya the whole time and the 2 Dragons. Not that I was complaining, it was actually quite peaceful sitting on the front of the deck by the Bow while I leaned against Nightmare.

However, the ride there was nothing like the nervous feeling walking back into the Castle. We took the back entrance because of the two over grown lizards, I guess the 4 "adults" didn't want any attention drawn to them. We were literally sneaking back into the Castle, with the Prince nonetheless. It was dark, so it was

"Good to see you all made it back alive and well." Queen KoKo said as we entered the main entrance to the throne room. She was sitting on the throne, probably waiting for us. The thrones were higher than the rest of the room, there was about 8 steps that lead up to the platform they sat on. "I see you brought a few guests as well."

"How did I unstone them? And how did you keep that key away from me all these year?" I said, immediately ready to go off. I made my way to the front of the group so she could face me with the truth.

"Y/N!" Ray scolded.

"No, she is right Ray. We had no reason to keep this all from her all these years. Y/N, I truly have no idea how you were unable to un stone the Dragons. That is some thing I have no knowledge about. However, I will admit I have kept a lot of the relics from what was rescued from your Kingdom hidden." She said standing up, making her way down to us. "Truthfully I have no idea what you are capable of. It was never in any scrolls what powers you could potentially have or if you would take your mom's powers at all."

"Wait, there are more relics?" I said. I took a second to think, there were more crates in that towers. And when Jay told us his sneaking story on the Speara he mentioned KoKo talking about a few other artifacts and then said it again once we got on Speara after that whole incident.

"Yes, that whole tower is yours." She was now right in front of me. "I belive I should make this right so here is the key to the tower. Everything is still in there as it was. You are more than welcome to go through it. I will have tables brought up so you can use those to keep the items on there. But if anything starts talking to you," she put her hand on my shoulder, "it would be wise to let us know."

I took they key from her grasp. She gave me a small smile before turning and walking away, probably heading to bed seeing as it was pretty late. I stood in my place as I watched her walk away. I glanced back down at the key in my hand. I guess 18 really is a magical number.

"Okay, we've had our fun for the day. Everyone to your rooms, that's an order." Ray said, holding he stare at me. He probably knew I wanted to go back to the tower.

"Y/N." Nya said, coming up to me. I nodded at her as me, her, and Nova walked in the direction of our rooms. I felt lingering gazes from the boys, who we still hadn't talked to since getting on the Bounty. The Dragon's were following us, staying quiet.

"So, I'll meet you guys up their?" Nova said, once we were out of ear shot.

"Give it an hour. I'm sure they'll be expecting us." I smirked at her. She gave me a chuckle and left for her room down a different hallway.

Once we were in our room we both took turns showering and changing into some sweatpants and a regular t-shirt, I also put on some socks and my black high rise converse and finished the look with my hair in a claw clip. I laid out some blankets for the two Dragons to sleep on, but with both of them here it was kinda cramped.

"Maybe they should sleep in the tower?" Nya suggested. Nightmare showed his teeth to her at that suggestion, proving he was not a fan.

"He probably wants to stay by me. After all they've been through, I'm basically their only family." I frowned, bending down to pet them both. They let our their version of a purr, practically falling asleep to my touch.

Soon enough, that 1 hour mark hit and Nova was right on time poofing into the room.

"Ready to go?" She asked, out stretching her arms for us to take.

"Stay you two." I said, pointing to the Dragons who were all curled up on the floor. Nightmare let out some sort of noise that I took as a sign of agreement. Hopefully.

"There goes our sleeping schedule." Nya laughed.

"And here I thought you would have listened to dad." Kai said as we poofed into the tower. The three of us stood in shock as we saw Kai, Jay, Zane, and Cole all stood in front of us. No Lloyd.

"What are you doing here?" I questioned.

"Making sure you don't get caught." Cole said, pointing to the door. "And we brought some tables up already." He shrugged pointing to the plastic folding tables people usually used for outdoor parties. Those would work.

"Now, where should we start. I don't have a fond feeling of touching any of this because I don't know what it does and if it will turn me into some foreign creature from your Island so I'm going to leave the digging for you." Kai said. I gave him an unamused look as I made my way to the round tabled they had set up in the middle of the room, there were other rectangular ones placed around. We would have to move them around a bit once the crates were out of the way.

"Nova, do you still have the stuff?" I asked. She nodded and placed the bag on the table. She carefully took out the journals and spread them around. Then the maps and finally the Dragon Eye.

"So, my main question is what the Dragon Eye is and why it's so important." Nya said, taking it in her hand. She help it up to her eye, looking through it. "I don't see anything."

"Maybe it has to be activated by magic?" Cole suggested.

"It would be better if we did more research on it first. If anything, magic could destroy it." Nova said.

"Shes right. All this stuff has answers about something. There is probably something in here about it, it's just matter of finding them." I sighed, turning to the room full of crates. "And all of these are about me and my family."

It felt weird saying my family. I always had a strong belief about the family quote my mom and Maya always said. The people surrounding this table are my family, but I still have some to save.

"Well, the question is probably where we start. That's a big pile of stuff we have no idea about." Nya said. "Kai had a point to. Some could have enchantments keeping outsiders away. You are probably best to touch them first."

"So I'm the guinea pig. Great." I sighed.

"Try the big box first, where we found the map and compass." Nova said.

"I'm pretty sure Queen KoKo said that was where your crowns where. I think she also mentioned a Necklace of Wings? I'm not sure, there was a mention of the Serpentine Kingdom and I kinda blanked after that." Kai pointed out, shivering at the mention of the snakes.

"You and your weird fear of snakes." Nya grumbled.

"They're slimy, ugly, and - uh - they have weird powers ok! Coles afraid of Dragons!" Kai remarked.

"Hey! I don't go around talking about your weird fear of losing hair gel!" Cole remarked, slapping his arm.

"Without hair gel, their is no Kai!" Kai said.

"You're scared of Dragons?" I questioned, raising my brow at him.

"Yes. That is why I have the creeps being in this room. That is also why I was so hesitant to go save you 4 from your underlying doom of your creepy fog dad on a island that is all Dragons!" Cole exclaimed.

"That explains why you refused to go near Nightmare and Moonlight." Nova said, grabbing the Book of Dragons off the table.

"What?" Cole said, more of a shocked question not expecting her to speak up. He blushed a small bit. Oh, he definitely likes her. I gave Kai a knowing look.

"Nova here is now my Dragon specialist. She's practically got the whole book memorized." I smirked, resting my arm on her shoulder. "She loves them."

"I mean yeah, they're super cool. All the different classes and how they work. I'm pretty sure there are only a small percentage of these Dragons that actually live on the island. They just came to their Queens rescue." Nova shrugged.

"What do you mean?" I asked turning to her. She placed the Book of Dragons down and got my mom's journal, she opened it to a page and showed me.

"It says here that very few different species actually lived on the Island. Different Dragons required different environments. But all the main islands they lived on had some sort of connection to the Kingdom. For example, while your Kingdom is so far north, it isn't cold their all the time and only snows a few months out of the year. But Ice Dragons require full environments of snow, so they don't stay at the island the whole year. It's like every season the Dragons rotate. We just saw as many as we did because the Kingdom was under attack." Nova said.

"What about the Den of Dragons though? Wasn't that meant to be a home for all of them." I asked. She flipped the page.

"Your mom wrote that the Den of Dragons was meant to house the Dragons yes, but not keep them their. Even during breeding season they leave to go lay eggs and then come back with babies. But the Den of Dragons contains a tunnel system only the Dragon can use in order to go from island to island. It's protected by magic so no one could abuse that power. No human can make the trip." She read.

"Oh great. That's reassuring." I grumbled.

"I mean, its a good thing. In a way." She said. "Perhaps some Dragons escaped. Or maybe there were some who stayed away from the Castle to protect their home or possibly the baby Dragons."

"Maybe. But they've been unnoticed for 18 years now, do you think they would have been spotted?" I questioned.

"Maybe, maybe not. We aren't in contact with every Kingdom. Especially not after Garmadon. We still have out allies but you would have to be the one to open commutation with them. But they probably went into pure survival mode after the attack. They have probably made sure they wouldn't be found if they knew at all what happened to the other Dragons."

"Makes sense, they have very strong survival instincts. We truthfully won't know what happened to all the Dragons. If there's a Dragon for all our elements, Nyas power is probably the most mysterious. Who know how deep the ocean is around your Island. Some deep sea Dragons could have survived." Zane said. "There is also the probability that there is a radius to D/N power. Potentially, if a Dragon was turned to stone while in the water, and sunk outside of the boundaries of his power, it could have reversed his effects."

"Like a bubble?" Nya asked.

"Correct, it is possible after what we saw that every Dragon in the bubble will be stone. If a Dragon were to fly back in it would turn back to stone." Zane answered.

"What about Nightmare and Moonlight?" Nova questioned.

"They could have a deep bond with Y/N, that's why his power was ineffective on them."

"He has a point. I touched them and then they were able to save us." I said.

"But what about that one Dragon we found in the village? The Catastrophic Quaken. You touched it but it stayed solid." Nova pointed out.

"I didn't have any close bond with it. Nightmare and Moonlight had a strong bond with my mom, and were there when I was little. Being around me when I was born could have been enough that all it took was me touching them for the effects to reverse." I answered.

"Its possible. The only people who probably know is Maya and Ray. After all, they were the last ones to see your mother alive before the escaped with you." Nova said.

"Might want to give them a few days to take this all in. You know how our parents are." Kai said. "For now let's just figure out what we can. I have a feeling you going there triggered something."

"Yeah, the big 18th year and you stepped right into your dad's trap." Cole said.

"Okay, I get it. Listening to the magical compass and sending myself on a spontaneous magical adventure was not the best way to spend my 18th birthday." I grumbled. "Now, which box should we start with."

4 small crates in and we had been up here for 5 hours. Nova had the idea that we should document what we found that we thought was important in case we needs to go back. We labeled the different relic pieces by numbers and wrote them down on their own pages with small descriptions of what they were and what they did - if we were able to find that out. Nova and Zane were the ones who were writing everything down and going through all the journals we had previously to find more information. We had actually found a few other journals in a identical crate that the other were in that was hidden behind a few bigger one. We had underestimated this whole issue.
