Y/N's P.O.V
I woke up the next morning to Nya practically shoveling me off my bed. I simply wanted to sleep in it was Tuesday, which surprisingly is always a slow day at the Castle. I never understood that, but I always like the extra ten minutes I was allowed. I took my pillow off my full sized bed, and smacked her in the head.
"I think you forgot today is the day we watch the others train." Nya said. I sighed, knowing she was correct, and I had no choice but to get up. This was a rare offer and I definitely didnt want to waste it. I groaned and sat up, rubbing my eyes.
"Finally." Nya sighed. "They start training in 20 minutes and we have to be there earlier."
"Ok, ok. I'm up. Dont get your panties in a twist." I grumbled before sliding out of bed. I loved our room, I really did. I didnt mind this life to be honest. The Queen let us pick out certain things for our room. Both me and Nya had full sized beds with bedside tables next to each others, a desk in the middle of them, and our own closets. It was like a hotel, but better and in a Castle. I walked into my closet and shut the door. Even though me and Nya grew up together I wasnt just gonna let her see me completely naked. I quickly changed, something nicer because of the occasion. I put on an emerald colored sundress that was semi tight, that way the wind wouldn't give everyone a flash, and went down to just above the knee. The top was a sweetheart neckline that was held up by straps that were about 1 inch thick. No spaghetti straps, that way I could actually wear a bra. The sweetheart neckline was bordered with a pretty black lace design. There was very small cleavage showing, classy not sassy. I did enjoy the occasional sassy.
I put on a simple black choker, it was leather and had a gold Dragon hanging from it. I was told it used to be my moms. I put on black leather wedged ankle boots. I walked out of the closet and into our bathroom. Each closet door was infront of our beds and the bathroom door was in the middle, the door to the actual room was on the wall to the right of Nya's bed, not near the head of the bed, but to the end of the wall. The wall to the left of my bed was windows, we luckily got the last room which meant we got them, and I was happy to see it was over the training yard, and with work being in the way I actually couldnt watch. Sadly.
In the bathroom, me and Nya had our own sinks and cabinets beneath. I grabbed my brush and taimed my bed head. I quickly curled it, having being used to getting ready quickly because of my job here. I put my hair up in a half up half down style, letting my face layers frame my face. I put on mascara and thin line of eyeliner, and some nude lip gloss. I brushed my teeth and put on deodorant, the fact that it gets pretty hot around this time reminding me I didnt want to stink. I added perfume, PINK's Warm and Cozy scent. Which smelled the best to me. We are very old-timey here, but we do have quite a few popular modern stores in the village. Mostly ones that are from other Kingdoms. Maya and Ray had told me story's of my mom allies, which had also been family that grew into other Kingdoms. For instance the Miraculous Kingdom. They had their own magic, magic jewelry that gave the holder the powers of the animal the jewelry possessed. Pretty cool. Apparently the Princess was my cousin too. Not that anyone knows I even survived. Maya and Ray were keen on making sure no one knew whether I survived that day, making sure my dad never came to kill me too. My genes and powers making sure he didnt take complete control over the Dragons. Whatever power I have, Maya and Ray kept that a secret too. Saying knowing to much could make it dangerous for me. I put on my moms ring, a beautiful gold band with a amethyst in the middle. It had alot of other details in it. But it didnt matter, just that if was my moms was enough. It was my last hope she was alive.

I walked out of the bathroom, Nya going in after she changed. She wore a similar dress. Semi tight, just above the knee. But hers was a blue color. I knew why. She liked Jay. Alot. But she ignored my pushes at trying to get her to confess, saying she would if I confessed my love to the Prince. Which was highly unlikely, but I still knew one day the two would just flat out say it. Considering Nya is impatient too. She had on grey leather ankle boots.
While I waited I sat at the desk and played with the paperclips, making something out of nothing. Gave me something to keep my hands busy.
"You ready?" Nya asked. I turned to her and nodded. She had her hair in a nicer version of her everyday look, and she just did minimal eye stuff, like me. I followed her out of the room, and she just had to mention it.
"Maybe you can finally confess to Lloyd. Or just impress him." Nya teased.
"Tell Jay and I'll think about it." I teased back. She huffed and walked quicker. Their training started at 8 a.m. and it was currently 7:55. The sun was barely up, and I really didnt want to be up, but here I am.
As we approached the training ground I noticed no one was their.
"They must be changing. C'mon, let's get sit down." She said. The training grounds was a circular area, minus the entrance, and right next to the entrance, on both sides, there were stairs that led up to the stands. Under the stands was a closed off hallway area, but under the stairs and a little past the ending of the stairs was seats for the Knights not training, or for them to just sit an relax for a water break. I see Ray and Turner leave the door to the changing room, the door on the left bench area. Ray smiles at me and Nya and we wave back. I was getting nervous, all the Knights are used to Nya but not me. Ray got to the stairs before us, and being the gentleman of a father he is, held is arm for us as we walked to the back of the stands, where we would sit and watch. I noticed someone else as we approached, they were sitting in the royal chair-
The Queen is here too? Fuck. Here come my nerves.
"My Queen, this are my daughters. You know Nya, and this is Y/N. The one I rescued. Prince Lloyd invited them to watch." Ray said as he bowed. Me and Nya followed.
"Ah, hello you two." The Queen greeted.
"Hello ma'am." Nya said.
"Hello your Majesty." I greeted smiling. Then the Knights came out. All dressed but they didnt have their helmets on. They usually didnt when it was just training. Then an old man came and sat next to the Queen. Master Wu.
"Hello Ray." He greeted. "And hello Nya. And I presume you're Y/N." I nodded.
"They will watch them train today." Ray informed. I looked at my brother, and well. He was stuck in some mud. The sandy-dirt ground was wet in that area, and some how he didnt noticed and got his foot stuck. The other were laughing at his predicament. I nudged Nya.
"Our brother. Only he would do that." Nya sighed and face palmed.
"You're the one who is blood related to him." I laughed.
"Nya, do you mind." Ray sighed. Nya shook her head and headed down. I was left with some really high-powered people. And I felt like there were walls closing in on me, despite being outside.

"Y/N, I would like to let you know that me and Wu know about your heritage. Your mom was a very good friend of mine. That's why I had Maya and Ray bring you here instead of your other family Kingdom." The Queen informed.
"You knew my mom?" I questioned, even though I knew what she had said.
"Yes. She was an ally. Garmadon gave him power, that is why what happened, happened." She explained.
"Which is also why we asked Ray and Maya to train you." Master Wu said. My jaw dropped in shock. I guess you never really know a story.
"Sometimes I wonder how we are related." I turned to see Nya with a annoyed face. Maya was behind her, walking over. We all sat down, I was to the left of the Queen, Nya to my right. On the left of the Queen was Master Wu, Ray, then Maya. Turner rounded up the Knights as they began stretches. Lloyd was flawless. He never lost balance, and got every perfect. The others, as in my friends, were near perfect. Kai got impatient and ended every stretch and pose early. Cole was a very beefy guy, being the Master of Earth, so his weight was a weakness. Jay got nervous easily and panicked when ever he started to tip over and lose balance. Zane was a robot, nothing else needed to say. All the other students either fell, or gave up early. As egotistical as it sounds, my friend group was the best. And then there was Chen. Every time he fell and lost balance, he made up an exuse that something it him or he was distracted. It was really annoying and obviously getting on Turners nerves.
After stretching each person took a partner and started small hand-to-hand combat. Kai and Cole fought, Jay and Zane fought, but because Lloyd was an Elemental and the Prince, he fought Turner. The former Master of Speed has just had a baby with his wife, so he recently lost his power, but he was still extremely quick on his feet. There we a few other Elementals, enough so that there were an even amount of normal students and the Elementals.
Kai and Cole we both extremely strong, and buff guys, not as buff as Lloyd though. Cole was obviously the stronger one so Kai used that as an advantage, his slightly smaller frame more agile.
Jay and Zane were the smaller, and also more innocent and caring, ones of the group. If one got knocked down they would help each other up. Jay was fast, but Zane could predict his moves easily.
Lloyd was the Elemental of Energy, which had a mixture of Earth, Fire, Lightning, and Ice. But he also had his own power. His Gold and Green power mixture represented in the Castle and its details. The Royal colors were Green and Gold, showing off the family.
After hand-to-hand was fencing with the same partners.
Kai was a master with a sword. Cole was better with a scythe. So of course Kai was better at this and easily got hits on Cole. But Cole was still trained with a sword and still knew what he was doing.
Jay was better at nunchucks. Zane was better with shurikens. But Zane still got most hits, his robot side really taking a major role in that though.
I tilted my head in amazement as I watched Lloyd. He fought effortlessly, and he moved like he wasnt even toughing the ground. His skills dominated Turners years of skill. He easily dodged all the attacks Turner threw at him, giving Turner a few good hits back. Sword clashes were heard everywhere, yet Lloyd tried his best to not make noise. I didnt know why. But it intrigued me, no doubt. The others did that as well.
Turner called everyone off, having them stand shoulder to shoulder in a line. He gave each Elemental student a Non-Elemental partner for combat.
Lloyd was unfortunate to be given Chen.
I had noticed Chen cheated alot. He didnt obey the rules and made his own calls, unfairly to his partners. He truly didnt have honor and it didnt take an expert to know he wasnt doing this to join the Royal Guard, or serve the Throne. He did this to boast about it. And that's why he never saw past himself. Every student didnt dare talk bad to Lloyd, I had noticed that a while ago. But Chen never got the hint. And it showed. He constantly teased Lloyd. One slip up and Chen was all over it. Never did he think before talking, it was worse than Jay.
Chen had thrown a fit. Saying he deserved more of a challenge. As if. Lloyd didnt complain, he didnt even flinch when Chen screamed in his face. Eventually, they both to their stances. Lloyd was slunched over, he looked tired. I raised my brows in confusion.
"Why is he like that?" I whispered to Nya.
"Its his signature move. Just watch." So I did. And I fell for him even more. He was quick, cunning, and dare I say hot.
The prince was no doubt good looking. His skin wasnt tanned brown, but he wasnt pale white either. He was the perfect in between. His eyes were a bright and vibrant green, gold flecks around his pupil. The outside of his eye, the 'rim' was a darker, more emerald green. His iris the brighter green shades with the golden flecks. His golden-blonde hair always neatly brushed to the side. Like most blondes, his eye brows were darker than his actual hair. They were a light brown and the hairs weren't caterpillars, some people would think that he gets them done. But most people on Ninjago island had naturally good eyebrows weird enough. I did though, dispite not being from the island of Ninjago. The island was pretty big, the Kingdom by one of the many beaches so we could get to the port easily. We were the Kingdom of Elements on the island of Ninjago. And the Prince was mighty fine, not that I would be caught alive saying that.
Lloyd had easily defeated Chen. He had him on the ground, sword stuck in the sandy ground, and Lloyd's sword was close enough to his neck that proved he won. I smiled at this. He looked up to the stands, looking at Master Wu, his mom, and then he met my eyes. He held my gaze with a curious look, which grew even more confused as me and Nya stood up, fear in our gazes at him.
"Lloyd!" I shouted.
"Behind you!" Nya exclaimed. Then Chen, who got up after Lloyd focus somewhere else, grabbed his sword. He forcefully shoved Lloyd extremely hard to the ground, putting tbe sword on his neck. Not near. Ray stood up as Chen got angrier. Lloyd didnt do anything, and stayed calm.
"I won!" Chen shouted.
"Enough!" Ray shouted. Turner quickly yanked Chen away from Lloyd, scolding him.
"I did nothing wrong! It was fair! He lowered his guard so I struck!" Chen argued. I saw Master Wu stand up and slam his staff on the ground. Everyone shut their mouths and looked at him.
"I think there is something to be decided. So I'm going to ask Y/N here her take on the fight." Wu said, looking at me.
"Her? You choose a girl!" Chen seethed.
"This woman has eyes." I replied, harshness in my tone. "And my take on it is simple. You lost first. Lloyd had you down and his sword was at your neck first. Which means you technically died."
"I pinned him down!" Chen yelled.
"With what honor? Knights fight for the Kingdom, for the throne. All I see is a egotistical asshole fighting for him self. Your skills are weak, your balance is about as good as a sloth, your posture is foolish, and your skills are no match to Lloyd's. Some knight you are, Chen." I finished. Nya snickered beside me.
"What do you know?!" Chen yelled.
"Obviously more than you." I sassed.
"Thank you, Y/N. Chen, you are dismissed from the rest of the day." Wu said. He let out a scream as Turner escorted him off the grounds, not even letting him change. Master Wu stared to leave the stands, heading down. Nya and I followed, The Queen, Maya and Ray following.
"Should would make a great Queen, KoKo." Maya said, as she nudged her friend. The Queen hummed in agreement. Not that I heard that.
Me and Nya followed Master Wu the students that were lined shoulder to shoulder again. We all stood in front of them.
"Todays lesson is observing. Learn your opponent, observe them. Just like Miss Y/N." Wu said. I smiled nervously as everyone's gaze turned to me. If only they knew how much I 'observed' Lloyd.
"That is all. Thank you everyone." The Queen said, dismissing the students. Everyone left to go change, and the Queen left too, not before making sure her son was ok.
"Have I ever told you I love you." Nya smirked. I just laughed at her.
"Let me think." I said stroking my chin.
"Shut up." Nya laughed, nudging me. I laughed and nudged her back. Ray and Maya walked up to us, arm and arm. They were honestly a super cute couple.
"I hope you enjoyed todays training. It was cut very short for obvious reasons. I'll let you know when you can come back and watch. Hopefully when Chen gets a talking to." Ray said.
"I'd love to come back." I smiled.
"We have to head home. You girls better get to work to. We promised the head servant you'd get to work when training was over." Maya said.
"Bye mom." Nya said.
"Bye Maya." I waved.
"Bye my darlings."
"Goodbye girls." Ray said, and him and his wife left.
"When you said you like watching them train, I didnt think you knew exactly how things should be done." Nya teased. I rolled my eyes at her.
"Oh please. Chen is so bad, he fell over and over. Then he has the audacity to say he took Lloyd down fairly." I huffed.
"Y/N!" I turned and saw Kai running to me. The other following behind, walking.
"Kai? Whats-" I was cut off by Kai doing his signature gut squeezing hug. I felt my back crack multiple times. I wheezed as I tried to get out of the hug.
"Release. Oh my god I cant breathe you oaf." I gasped out. He grumpy cat faced me and dropped me. I held my self up and trying to gain my breath.
"I thought you liked my hugs." Kai complained.
"I do. But I also enjoy breathing." I said, laughing lightly. He pouted, crossing his arms.
"You know, when Kai said you were feisty, I wasnt expecting that much. I though yesterday's jab at Kai was just sibling stuff." Cole said.
"Oh, yesterday was sibling stuff. But Chen just gets on my damn nerves." I said rolling my eyes. Jay started snickering.
"I thought today was your first day seeing his true self." Kai questioned. J shook my head.
"Nope. The dipshit flirts with me in the halls all the time. He even tried to grab my ass." I sighed.
"He what." Kai deadpanned.
"Oh you should have seen it. It was quite a sight to behold." Nya laughed.
"I must be missing something." Jay said, confused.
"He did grab my ass. But I was carrying a tray, it was empty, but as soon as I felt him touch me, I smack him in the head with the tray." I said. "He was unconscious in the medial room for 3 hours."
"That's where he was! He missed practice!" Kai laughed.
"Anyway. Y/N we have to work, let's go!" She chanted.
"Yes, we have to head off aswell." Zane said.
"Hold on. You guys go ahead. I have to talk to Y/N." Lloyd said, standing next to me. I felt my face heat up as I gave Nya a 'help me' look. The boys snickers and Nya gave me a smirk. They started to walk away, Kai making kissy faces before Nya smacked him and dragged him by his ear. I turned to the Prince.
"Did I do something wrong?" I asked.
"No. Far from it. Every time we talk, dont assume the worst." He chuckled. His deep voice making butterflies appear.
"Sorry." I said, smiling nervously.
"Your alright. Anyway, I wanted to thank you. Chen has always been quite the asshole."
"Prince!"
"Oh please! You've cursed too. My title doesnt not completely control my mouth." He smirked. "Anyway, you've definitely got a spark in you. You definitely intrigue me." He said.
"Well, thank you I guess." I shrugged. He started walking out of the training grounds and gestured for me to follow. Quickly catching up to him, he continued.
"Seriously. I didnt know you knew that much. I would have asked a long time ago." He said. I just smiled up at him. He was pretty taller than me, my heels helped on my boots.
"I did grow up with Ray and Maya as a father. And Kai." I shrugged. "I guess I picked a few things up along the way."
