Y/N's P.O.V
It had been a few days since the incident. It was Friday, I had been ignoring them since Tuesday night, or Wednesday morning since it was around midnight. But I refused to look them in the eye. I couldnt really be mad at them, apparently it was extremely important that no one knew. Or whatever that was supposed to mean, since everyone of them knew that I knew about Nya training. And yet, I was kept in the dark. It was just that betray of trust that really got under my skin. Yeah, I understand I couldnt know, but the way I found out? That's what really got the trust. Mostly the Prince.
It was more in the afternoon. I was in the kitchen preparing a plate of food. You had to lay out how you would lay out the dish on a plate before putting it on the serving tray. I always had an eye for decor, but never got to express myself. Given my title. But it was always the little things.
I had my back to the door, but I was alone since everyone else had already finished and went off to give the higher ups their food. But when the door opened and I heard a bunch of footsteps, I rolled my eyes. I knew exactly who was behind me. It didnt take a genius. Dispite the fact that they were Ninja, I don't think they realized just how loud their damn feet are. Or just how much I had been smothered all week to the point that this was predictable. Honestly, Lloyd's a Prince and the others have training, they have better things to do with their damn life.
"You know, if y'all are training to be a title that's super sneaky, I think you need to up your hours in training." I said, not turning around.
"Y/N-" I heard Lloyd start.
"No. I have a job to do." I said turning around with the tray of food in my hand. "And so do you. Now, I have to go. Is that all?"
"We didnt even-"
"Good. I'll be going now." I interrupted. I saw Lloyd frown at my harshness, but his brows furrow in anger and his jaw clench.
"Stay here. That's an order." I scowled at him. Not gonna lie, that was hot. But I cant think of that right now.
"Y/N, we have been trying to explain to you all week. Please hear us out." Nya plead. I let out a sigh.
"I have to go. I have a job." I repeated.
"Y/N." Lloyd warned.
"What? What are you gonna do? Fire me? Tell me to leave? Sorry to tell you, Prince, but this entire damn world doesnt revolve around you." I said, turning away and just taking the back way out.
"Y/N!" Kai scolded. "Hes still the Prince. Dont talk to him like that."
"Fuck off, Kai. You think I give two shits?"
"I ordered you to stay here." Lloyd said, trying again.
"Hate to break it to you, but I dont follow your orders." I sassed, and walked out of that death hole. As soon as I got outside it was like all the weight was of my shoulders, and I was no longer suffocating. They were persistent, I'll give them that, but it was really just pissing me off more. Nya and Kai know that I need space to call down. And I have yet to get space or alone time. Its like they were up my ass 24/7 asking for forgiveness and to explain. Yes, I'm extremely difficult, but being stubborn is what makes me a good fighter. Never trust. Well, never trust strangers. But they felt like strangers right now.

"Damn hormones." I grumbled. I walked into the main kitchen, needing to get my food arrangement approved before I took it up to whoever I was serving.
"Great arrangement, Y/N. Please take it to Master Wu. He is training a few pupils today." I just smiled. Turning around and walking out the doors however, that's not the reaction I truly had.
"Those dipshits! They knew exactly what they are doing!" I grumbled to myself. They couldnt find a way to talk to me so they forced this. Master Wu was teaching a meditation class today too, and usually I would be wearing the pencil skirt but I had a different detail to work so I had to wear jeans. So I don't exactly have an exuse.
I am sure that tatteled on me to Master Wu. Damn. I'm definitely stalling. I walked as slow as I could without being late to the point of getting in trouble. Granted, it wasn't a long walk. I had just saw my smothering people walk into the small building. I groaned and stomped my foot.
"Why me." I sighed. Walking into the building, it was actually beautiful. Despite the grey cloud over my head. My heels clicked in the slightly echoey room. Unfortunately, they were apart of this uniform. A green flowey blouse tucked into black skinny jeans. And nude 3 inch heels. But professional ones, no toes seen here. I approached the table set on the side where others had come to drop off different types of food. I was the last one.
"Hello, Y/N." Wu said from behind me. Turning around I smiled, being respectful to the wise man.
"Hello, Master Wu." I said bowing. It felt slightly wrong.
"I have heard there is something going on." He questioned, petting his beard. I looked past his head and saw the Ninja. In all there glory. Starring at me.
"Yes, I have yet to have peace and space for myself." I said, a little loud so I'd know they would hear me.
"Yes, they can be stubborn." Wu laughed.
"Well, I must go. I have a few things to do before I can get off my shift today." I said.
"I was actually thinking you would prefer to stay here, and do some meditations. Help clear your mind." I just looked st him. I looked down at my clothes, and back up at him.
"Uhh, I dont think I'm in the appropriate attire to be meditating." I pointed out.
"We have extra clothes." He smiled innocently. Well, he is Lloyd's uncle. He definitely sucked up to them about this.
"With all due respect, I don't really want to meditate right now." I smiled. He sent one back before turning around.
"It was not a request." My face dropped. Any bit of happy left my body as a scowl sent on my face. "The changing room is over there."
If looks could kill, the others would be far down in hell by now. Not changing my mood, or posture, I walked to the group. The room was just past them. Jay seemed scared, but then again, he was most of the time. Everyone else held serious faces. As if I was gonna yell at them, well I wasn't. In fact I brushed right past them, glaring at the group from the side.
Lloyd caught my glare, and sent a stern look back. Which just caused me to glare harder. They really don't know how to set out a fire then.

Grumbling, I got changed. All of the "extras" were required to have a dress code. A semi tight green half zip up shirt. The workout kind. While the pants were just plain black leggings. Well, that was the female dress code. And nude slip on shoes. The others, being a Prince and Knights, did not have to truly have a dress code. They could wear there signature colors. My guess is that since they were the Ninja, the were truly excused from it. I put my hair in a messy ponytail.
"This is so stupid." I said to myself.
"I wouldn't call it stupid." Turning around, I saw Maya. I'd bet my life she knows too. I bet Ray, the Queen, and all there parents do too.
"Yeah, then what is it. Hell?" I remarked.
"Fate."
"Yeah, well fate has a funny way of showing who I'm really trusting." I murmered.
"Y/N, you cannot let your past determine your future. Or let it blind you of the truth. Telling you about their training could raise questions about you." She explained. "To you, your a simple girl. Who got even more complicated."
"The others didn't even need to be the ones to tell me. A little trust from my brother and sister would be nice."
"Just because they did not tell you, doesn't mean they thought less of you." She started. "Remember, they are in the same position you are."
I guess that makes sense. I haven't told them so much about me, especially my own training. Alot was revealed that night. Including my own secret.
"Let me guess, its Lloyd deep down." She said, fixing my baby hairs. She had a habit of doing that.
"I dont know what your talking about." I said.
"Uh-hu. Because as far as I can tell, everyone can see your bond." She said, zipping the zip on my shirt up a bit more. "Its no doubt that you two do have a thing for each other."
"We've barely even talken and he barely knows me." I reasoned.
"Soul mates don't need to talk." She winked. I was about to argue but her own skills let her get out of the room quickly. Her and Ray were definitely Ninja trained too. No doubt now.
Gathering my inner strength, I stepped out into the room. Everyone was seated and waiting for Master Wu. There was only one seat left. Next to Lloyd. In the second to last row. Behind us were Maya and Ray, and a few other adults I had only seen a few times around the Castle. To the left of Lloyd was all th boys of the group, and then to his right was me. And to my right was Nya. I could feel Lloyd's stare from the side, but I ignored him. This day could not go any slower.
🖤🐲💚⚔💜🐲🖤
As soon as Master Wu dismissed us, I took off back into the changing rooms. I got dressed as quick as I could, and fixed my hair. It had been two hours of just sitting there. Anytime he could, Lloyd looked at my through the corner of his eye, then went back into meditation focus mode. The tension was very clear the entire time. Not just to us either. Some kids would turn around and look, then their friend who they sat next to would nudge them and they both would snap their heads back to the front.
Unfortunately, the mediation did not help. It didnt make it worse, but it did not help. I had calm down, but the situation was still a lit fire. I just wanted some peace and quiet, some alone time, and a movie. But it doesn't seem like that was an option.
Nya had come in. She was standing behind me, I could tell she was uncomfortable. I almost felt bad. But she was the one I was closest with. Honestly, if she told me about her Ninja training, I would have told her that I was trained too. But instead I was attacked by them and used as a test.
Putting the clothes I wore in the dirty laundry hamper, I quickly left. Nya looked like she was gonna say something, but decided against it and kept her mouth shut. I let out a small breath of relief once I was out of the room. However, my steps faltered when I saw Lloyd standing at the door, looking at me. Please do not say he's gonna walk with me.
"I'll be walking you to the head servant. And make sure you don't get in trouble for being gone for two hours." Lloyd said, a polite smile on his face. I did not return the gesture.
"Great." I said, my voice not showing any emotion. Not waiting for him, I began walking. He was quick to get back to my side. Thank god it wasnt a long walk back to the room I needed to be. Hopefully he will just leave after. No more smothering needed. Walking up to the office, I eagerly opened the door. The head servant immediately looked up and saw me.
"Y/N! The amount of trouble-" She stammered as Lloyd walked into the room. "Prince Lloyd! What can I do for you?" She said, standing up out of respect.
"I just wanted to walk Y/N over here. She has been with me for the past two hours. She joined Master Wu's meditation class today. His request." His request my ass.
"Of course. Y/N you have dinner duty later tonight and you have tomorrow off. Thank you." She said exusing me. I nodded, and left the room.
And well, Lloyd followed.
"What now." I growled at him.
"I will be escorting you back to your quarters." He said, as if it was a very simple answer. I let out a very displeased grumble and walked a bit faster. He easily kept the pace. Damn training.
I was beyond relieved once I got to my door. I quickly entered the code to the door and opened it.
"Okay, thanks." I said quickly. I went to shut the door, but his hand stopped it. He pushed it open with ease, and stepped inside, closing the door behind him.
"Exuse me?" I sassed.
"Okay, right here, right now, just us, what is up with you?" He asked.
"Me? Whats up with me? Let's make a list. One, not trusting me. Two, making a fool out of me. Three, playing with my feelings. Should I go one." I snapped back.
"Playing with your feelings?" He asked, "When have I ever done that."
"When you invited my that night, you used me as a obstacle in a training course." I said, I had began to get closer to him.
"Y/N, despite what happened, I had no idea that Wu would make us attack you. However you are not innocent either. You have obviously been trained." He said. I shut my mouth and glared. I walked right up to him, all up in his personal space. Men will always be men, and being close to a female like that has its effects. He sucked in a breath at my closeness.
"You have no idea who I am."
I was not expecting his next move. And I definitely did not expect him to put one hand on the back of my head and the other around my waist, and kiss me.
And against my better judgment, I kissed back.

Anchor Points: Age of Heroes
If you had a chance to reset history, knowing what we know now, would you take it? Six years after kicking an alien expeditionary force off the surface of the Earth back to their staging bases in the asteroid belt, and aided by stolen alien technology, the United Terran Republic Navy has finally achieved enough warship production to put the enemy on the run. Despite the facade of unity projected by the Earth's new federal government, deep cracks still lie under the surface that threaten the stability of world peace and the ability to protect humanity with a unified military response. Within this backdrop, the North American Union, now a mere state in the greater union, has created or reopened multiple off-books projects and black sites to house secrets both old and new that would be far too toxic or dangerous to be known to the wider world at such a delicate stage in world history. One of these secrets will draw Captain Henry O'Toole from his comfortable posting with the Jupiter Fleet straight into a world of conspiracies and secrets that could destroy the new, still fragile world order. Captain O'Toole will take command of mankind's first true starship with a secret mission that would be seen as treason by the new federal government. His orders are to use a prototype faster than light drive to travel through dimensions higher than spacetime and ride the expansion of the universe to create an off-books colony solely for the NAU. There are consequences for escaping time's jealous grasp, which instead position them to have a chance to change the course of human history. Fate has called the Indomitable Will and her crew into the Age of Heroes, will they be able to rise to the challenge?
