《Jade Garmadon: Lloyd Garmadons little brother》Chapter 14 ~The Search

The team and I were still searching the city for my lost brother. We've been searching for over an hour or so.

"Lloyd! Lloyd!" Kais voice came through the small intercom in my "bracelet". I don't really think of it as a bracket, more of like a watch.

"Yeah, Kai? I'm here."

"Any sign of Jade yet? I still can't find him."

I still can't find him. Those words seemed to become real and stabbed my heart. I held back my tears and spoke, trying to keep my voice from cracking.

"No. I.....I can't find him either."

"Don't worry, Greenie. We will find him." Cole attempted to cheer me up.

"Yeah...alright"

"We'll find him soon, Lloyd. Just keep looking." Kai sounded sympathetic. I didn't want anyone sympathy right now, I want my little brother back.

I turned off my watch/bracelet and looked down at the city from my dragon, looking for a sign or some kind of clue that Jade was nearby. I sighed as I saw the cars zoom by on the streets. The city lights flashed in the daylight, drawing attention to the buildings. People walking down the sidewalks. Any Jade? Nope. Where could that boy have gone to??!

The sun was beaming down on the city now, almost giving everyone a stroke from the heat. I pulled the picture of Jade and I out of my pocket and admired our smiling faces.

"Lloyd come on come on!" Jade giggled as he tugged on my arm. Jay and I were taking a break from training and we went to the beach with Jade. Jade was so excited he could hardly stand still.

I dove into the cool, sparkiling, blue water and gasped for air when I surfaced. Jay did a cannon ball into the water, sending a huge wave over me. When my eyes focused after Jays wave of water splashed my eyes, I noticed Jade was sitting and playing in the sand.

"Jade! Come in the water!" I yelled to him.

"I don't know how to swim though!"

I swam back to shore and took Jades hand, as I lead him into the water.

"Then I will teach you." I replied as I held onto Jades by his hands. "I will guide you, but you have to kick your legs."

Jade kicked his legs, splashing the water as I kept ahold of Jade.

"Don't let me go, Bubbie!" Jade whinned as he kept his head above the water.

"I wont, Jaddie. I promise." I smiled.

*End of flashback*

Tears streamed down my face as my grip tightened on the picture.

"I-I...I p-promise.." I cried as I clutched the picture to my chest, imagining the picture was Jade. I wept as I pictured his childish smile, his adorable giggle, and his motivational speech he would give me during training sessions.

I felt an arm wrap around my shoulders and pull me close as I continued to cry. Kai embraced me into a hug. Zane patted my shoulder.

"I-Im s-sorry!" I wept into Kais chest.

"Calm down Lloyd. It's ok. Siblings get into fights and stuff."

"B-but th-this fight was so bad...I-I called him a brat a-and...he s-said he hated m-me!"

"People say things they don't mean when they're hurt. Jade doesn't hate you. He was just upset." Zane tried to help reassure me as well.

"Yeah he was upset!! He was upset with me! He ran away because I wasn't a good older brother like I should have been!" I sobbed, and collapsed to the ground. Zane hugged me.

"Lloyd breathe before you pass out." Zane reminded me. I listened to him and took some deep breathes. In 1 2 3.....out 4 5 6.

"Kai, we should take Lloyd back to the bounty so Misako can calm him down.....hopefully." Zane murmured. Kai nodded and took me into his arms. Zane called in the bounty.

The bounty showed up and Kai and Zane brought me aboard. Kai lead me to my room, mom not too far behind.

Mom made me change out of my gi as she went to the kitchen to get some food. I changed into a hoodie and some black sweat pants, and laid down on my bed, my back resting on the back board. Mom came back in with a bowl of noodles and a glass of water. I thanked her as she left.

As I ate the noodles I thought of the time Jade and I tried to make some mac and cheese. We almost burnt down the monistarys kitchen. Heh good times. I thought to myself. Where are you Jade? Come back to us...to me. Please. I miss you so much.

Jades pov:

"Clem, don't you understand?!" I yelled. "I can't go back home to them!"

Clem teared up in shock that I yelled at her.

"..sorry. I'm just...upset." I apologised and leaned against the wooden fence to the makeshift balcony. I felt Clems warm arms wrap securely around me. I smiled a bit and hugged her back.

"You should get some rest Jade. You've been traveling all day." Clem recommended as she brought me back inside. I laid down on a small mat with a blanket and pillow, and shut my eyes. I thought about the team. My mom. Uncle Wu. But i mostly thought about Lloyd. Was he ok? Did he forget me? Does he even know I'm missing?? So many thoughts ran through my head.

I'm so sorry, Lloyd....

...I want to come home.
