《Ghost Friend | Ninjago × Reader ✔️》Chapter 19

I summon Stormie and catch Morro's hand at the last moment, although his feet touched the water, he didn't disappear, but his face showed signs of pain.
He was trying to pull himself up using his powers but I think he couldn't because of the water.
"Don't worry, I won't let go," I said.
"Y/n it's really not the time for the Titanic references."
"I wasn't even trying!" I patted Stormie with my other hand "get us out of here, girl."
Stormie flew high enough for Morro to get away from the water and sit behind me. The Preeminent was drowning and everybody on the ship were cheering.
We got back on the ship and walked to Nya.
"I unlocked my true potential!" Nya exclaimed with a grin.
"Yeah, and you nearly killed us."
"Morro!"
He gave me a look "oh I'm sorry, I meant to say me not us. Is this better?"
"Look who's speaking," I started "the ghost who got us into all of this mess in the first place."
"I was manipulated!!"
"Look at my face," I pointed at my poker face "Does it look like I care about that?"
"You're unbelievable."
"You're an arrogant idiot."
Jay sighed "well, this ship might not sail."
Morro continued "if you think I'm an arrogant idiot then why are you going to marry me in the future?!"
"Don't bring that up!!"
Jay spoke again ".... Okay, did this OTP just become canon?"
"Shut up!!" me and Morro yelling at Jay.
But he's right, this ship is canon...unless I do something that might change the future.
Anyways, Lloyd showed up from nowhere and everybody hugged him including his father who was talking to Misako.

"Did I miss something?"
"Yeah, I have spoilers about the new OTP-" I smacked Jay on the head.
My aunt burst out laughing. I forgot her and mom were there. Mom asked "what's an OTP?"
My aunt started explaining to her when we got off the ship. Lloyd, Garmadon and Misako had a family reunion.
Kai was so proud of Nya for unlocking her true potential that fast -and also kind of jealous because it took her less time than he did-.
Cole and Morro were leaning against a wall talking, I was glad they were on good terms.
Jay was staring at the Realm Crystal hesitating to touch it or not until Sensei Wu took it and hid it away from his sight.
Zane was helping the people of Stiix who were fixing and rebuilding their houses.
Lloyd came to me "Anima drowned, I forgot to tell you."
"Good for her," I gave him a pat on the shoulder "I'm proud of you."
"Thanks."
I did what me and Kai always do to him, mess with his hair.
He laughed a little and put my hand away "no body messes my hair."
"Are you sure about that?" I said with a challenging smirk, ready to start a hair messing war.
"...don't do it please."
"Too late."
I started running after him, he shouted asking Kai for help, but Kai did what I expected... He joined me.
Morro and the rest of the team were laughing, except for Nya who gave a disappointed sigh.
We stopped chasing Lloyd and helped fixing the damage the Preeminent did.

Three days later. On the weekend. The team and I went to Chen's noodle house after days of restless training. Even Morro was exhausted but poor him and Cole wouldn't be able to eat anything because they're ghosts and Kai only came to see Skylor - obviously -.

We took seats on around a large table. The place wasn't that crowded. Kai - who was sitting on the same side as me, Cole and Morro - was looking around, hoping Skylor would come to say hello, but he had a disappointed expression when another waitress came to take our order.
We ordered and before she could leave, Kai asked her about Skylor.
Her answer was "oh, she's in the kitchen, do you want me to call her?"
"No, I'll go there myself." He just got up and left.
Me and the others shared the same 'what the hell?' look.
We got our food and started to eat and chat. I felt really sorry for Cole, his biggest weakness, food, is taken away from him.
We chatted about some stuff that happened in the past. We told Morro some stories. And Lloyd had to bring up the subject of me being clumsy.
When I denied, I was met with a question from Nya "What about that time when you blew up the tea shop because you were angry? You can't ignore that."
Morro chuckled and asked me "you what?"
"Shut up, that only happened once," I turned my attention back to my noodles, but the others weren't dropping the subject easily.
Lloyd spoke to Morro "Do you know what her excuse was?"
"What?" Morro said, interested.
"She brewed one of Sensei's Teas and later realized that it was the explosive one."
They laughed.
"That wasn't an excuse, it was actually explosive," I defended myself.
Jay was the only one who didn't seem surprised at what I said, he looked surprised because the others were "I thought everybody knew that already."
"Well apparently, they thought I blew up the whole shop as a revenge for making me do all the housework," I said.
"I want to eat..." poor Cole was about to cry from staring at the noodles and sushi and other types of food on the moving buffet.
Kai didn't come back, which made me say "I think they murdered him."
Everyone stared at me with a "who?"
I simply answered "Kai, duh."
The next thing we saw was fire coming out of the kitchen.
"It looks like he killed them," Cole said.
Kai came out of the kitchen with Skylor trying to put out the fire on his jacket.
I made a comment "Morro, I present to you Kai Smith, the boy on fire."
He laughed but I doubt he got the reference.

Thank you all for supporting this book, it was fun to write and read your comments. This might or might not be the last chapter, because I don't like the number 19 and just want to turn it into 20 whenever I see it.

The Ancient Core: A Progression Fantasy
The title of [The Ancient One] is bestowed upon an unassuming, forgotten Core. Hidden deep underground, it lies in wait, biding its time as it learns the rules of its surroundings. Roaming beasts and unknown threats surely threaten the little rock as it sticks to the darkness, its one true refuge. This is a slow-burning Dungeon-Core fiction with a LitRPG-System. You can expect an extreme amount of kingdom-building, an more in-depth Mana-System, and a Evolution-System. Chapters are between the length of 2-4k words, though the first 50 will likely be closer to 4k. Anything after will have the average be 2.5k. I personally like explaining how things work a lot, so do have that in mind if you decide to read this fiction. Getting Hard (Journey of a Tank)
Herald Stone always built tank characters in every MMORPG he played. To be immortal—that was his first Goal, a simple childhood dream. However, the turbulent realities of life put an end to his gaming days. Years passed, and Herald Stone, now having attained success and stability, was presented with the opportunity to redeem himself...to fulfill his first Goal. Trivial? Childish? Others might think so. But Herald Stone always fulfilled his Goals—every single one. No matter what. Immortality beckoned in Mother Core Online, and this time Herald Stone would answer. Choosing a long-forgotten race, hidden away in an unknown region, the journey of an immortal tank begins. This is the tale of Herald Stone...getting hard. Schedule: Mon-Wed-Fri-Sat, 10am Central/ 3pm GMT. ~1.8k-2.3k words per chapter. Also published on Scribblehub. My other ongoing story: REND | Royal Road Expect a focus on building a true tank in MMORPGs. Heavy game elements and numbers are present. But actual math will take a backseat to strategies involving skill builds and synergies that steadily become more complex while remaining understandable. The main character is atypical in LitRPGs or web novels as a whole. He might take some getting used to. Character arcs will develop over a long period. What you see now will be different as the main character changes. The start of Getting Hard is slow-paced (more so than others of the genre) and includes world-building and character development before focusing on the LitRPG.
