This chapter contains spoilers for the end of The Day Of The Departed and season 9. Also, it mentions and contains a character from season 10 but no major spoilers from that season.

I forgot to put a warning so here it is, a year later.

Twenty years later...

I finished packing my suitcases in addition to Morro's and D/n's , those idiots make me do all the work.

I got out and went to the training area of the Monastery, but I didn't see anybody there so I got inside again. I saw Skylor walking in the hallway with a package in her arms.

"What are you carrying?" I asked.

She sighed heavily "Kai's new hair gels that he ordered two days ago."

I giggled. She asked "seriously, why can't he live without his hair spikes?"

"Who knows? He's been like that since I met him."

We walked together until we reached her bedroom, she said before she went in "have you finished packing?"

"Yeah, and no one helped me."

"Same, those dorks are irresponsible," she said "I hope the others are ready too, I can't wait for this vacation anymore."

She got inside and I made my way to the kitchen to get some water. I found Zane there packing some snacks.

"Hello Zane."

"Hello Y/n, you look exhausted."

"Thanks," I replied and got a glass of water.

"I can't find the Nutella anywhere," he said.

"Cole is going to kill you then," I put the glass in the dishwasher "see you later." And I got out.

I walked in the hallway and all of the sudden I hear someone yelling "come on!! Why can't you play well?!" Kai's son to be exact.

"Don't yell at my daughter!" Jay yelled back.

"Eh... Guys I'm going to leave," Lloyd said "I have a date, so bye."

He opened the door "oh, hey Y/n."

"Another date?"

"Yup." He replied and closed the door.

I asked "seriously, when are you and Akita going to get married?"

"Y/n, seriously? That's the third time you ask me this."

"So? You two have been dating for years. Can't I just wish for my ship to become canon?"

He sighed and got closer and whispered "Don't tell anybody, but I'm planning to propose on this vacation."

"You WHAT?!"

"Shut up!" he said quickly.

Oops.

"I have to go, see you later," he waved and left.

I got inside the room, which was the gaming room. The first thing I spotted was D/n sitting near the couch eating Nutella.

"Young lady, your uncle Zane has been looking for the Nutella jar, couldn't you at least tell him before you take it?" I asked.

My twelve year old daughter looked up at me and just said "Mom~ just let me watch them play."

"Ugh..fine, but you have to deal with your uncle Zane later."

I turned to look at the others. One of Kai and Skylor's redhead twin sons - who is thirteen years old - was playing video games on the big screen with Jay and Nya's youngest daughter - who's ten, they also had a boy - while Jay was eating popcorn and lying on the couch.

The door opened behind me and the other redhead twin got inside and sat near his brother and started eating chips.

I looked down at Jay "did you help your poor wife pack for the vacation? Or are you as useless as my husband?"

"I packed my own suitcase."

"Oh, good, at least you're not that lazy," I said and got out of the room.

We were going on vacation to one of the islands around Ninjago. We didn't take a long rest like this in years.

Morro and Cole turned human years ago because of the thing that happened on the day of the departed, I still don't know how it worked for Morro too since he was actually dead.

Lloyd got his heart broken by the princess named Harumi who tried to turn Garmadon evil again, but she failed in the end and both her and Garmadon died.

Jay proposed to Nya at that time in the middle of the battle and she said yes.

Kai and Skylor hung out more then got engaged.

Cole is in love~.......................With cake.

Lloyd met Akita years ago, she lives in another realm so he uses the realm crystal - that we never destroyed - every time he wants to see her.

Zane and Pixal got married too. But no kids, not even little nindroids.

Sensei Wu is old.

Misako started teaching in a school.

And I married Morro because of that stupid future reflection... Not really.

I got to the pool, and guess who I saw. Cole was swimming and eating a whole cake at the same time.

I pretended I didn't see anything and left. I opened the door to my bedroom again and saw Morro lying down, he wasn't there when I was packing.

I walked to him "are you playing dead?"

He answered without opening his eyes "I am."

"So when's your funeral?"

"Next Saturday."

What a wonderful relationship we have.

I sat on the bed and stared at the suitcases, then at our pictures hanging on the wall, and finally at my bookshelves.

Morro got up and sat next to me "You look really exhausted, like you're going to pass out or something."

"Yeah, because someone didn't even bother to help his wife who spent all her day packing and preparing for the vacation." I said without making eye contact "sometimes I hate you."

He looked at my face and said "I'm sorry."

"You should be, where have you been anyway?"

He pointed at a package in the corner of the room "I got you a gift."

"What is it?"

He smiled "open it."

I got up and he handed me a knife. I cut the tape and opened the box. There were books and stickers of my favorite fandoms!

"You still hate me?"

I got up and gave him a hug and whispered "no.. Not really."

I broke the hug and kept looking through the books.

"I noticed that you didn't have much time for yourself these days because you were busy taking care of D/n and the house, so I thought you'd like something to spend your time with."

"These are so cute!" I said looking through the stickers of my favorite characters.

I got up and opened my suitcase, stuffed some books and stickers in there, and zipped it again.

At night....

Someone knocked on our door. I said, still half asleep "Morro open the door..."

He got up and opened the door.

"What are you doing here, honey? You can't sleep?" he asked.

"Uncle Jay scared me when I was in the kitchen getting some water and now I can't go back to sleep," D/n replied quietly then added "can I sleep with you tonight?"

"Of course," he yawned and closed the door.

D/n laid her stuffed bunny on the bed and lied next to me.

"Is she asleep?" she whispered.

"Yeah," Morro answered "she's really tired, so make sure you don't wake her up."

"Okay, another thin- oh, you're asleep," D/n said "Goodnight," and went to sleep as well.

On the day of the vacation...

We got out of the airport and went to the hotel and unpacked some stuff. It was two in the afternoon and we were going to the beach at four, so I got one of the books Morro got me and lied on the bed and started reading.

D/n and the other four kids went with Cole to the hotel's restaurant. Kai didn't want to leave his room because he's afraid of the ocean. Skylor, Nya and Pixel were probably unpacking or resting. Lloyd and Akita told me they were going out to find things to do on the island. Jay and Morro went shopping for water guns and other swimming stuff. And I don't know where Zane is.

All I cared about at that moment was how the protagonist of the book I'm reading was going to survive in that haunted house.

"Oh my god, I've never seen someone more stupid than you," I said to the girl in the book and flipped the page "Okay... Just one more chapter."

Lies!! I thought to myself but continued reading anyway.

After about three chapters. Morro got into the room.

"Hey Y/n, want to see what I bought to annoy D/n?" he said.

I ignored him and re-read the sentence because he didn't let me concentrate.

He walked to me "hey, are you there? Helloooo?"

Don't you just hate it when people talk to you while you're reading? I do, and I was about to yeet him across the room.

"From Ninjago to Y/n, do you hear me?"

I snapped "what is wrong with you?! Don't you see I'm reading?!"

"Yeah, so?"

"So? Didn't I tell you to not interrupt me when I'm reading?"

"Eh.... I think?"

I sighed, put my bookmark in the book, closed it and put it on the nightstand. "What do you want?"

He handed me a water gun, a f/c water shotgun to be exact. He had a black and green one in his hand. He spoke "I'm going to start a water war when we go to the beach."

"Okay," I picked my book again.

"So you're not joining me?"

"I will when we go, now let me relax and- OH SHIT HE TURNED OUT TO BE A GHOST?!" I yelled while reading.

Morro sighed and lied on the bed next to me "don't yell again, I'm going to take a nap."

"Yeah yeah, whatever," I flipped the page again.

After we went to the beach. Lloyd proposed to Akita and she said no...

... Just kidding, he said he was going to propose the next day.

Nya chased and tried to kill Jay and their son who both emptied a bucket of sand on her head.

Skylor tried teaching Kai how to swim. He drowned and his sons didn't even try to save him so Skylor got him out and told him to stay out of water.

Cole built a sand castle with Nya's daughter but D/n stepped on it and pretended it was an accident. I knew it wasn't an accident, she was taking revenge on Cole for something he did at the restaurant.

Morro and I chased everybody with water guns, except for Nya because we didn't want to die that day.

D/n and Kai's sons buried Zane in the sand except for his head and left him there. Those three kids were demons without a doubt.

Pixal was relaxing at the beach, done with everybody and their childish behavior.

By the way, Sensei Wu and Misako didn't come with us.

And then at the end, everyone died....not really but we almost died from tiredness.

My life was crazy. My friends are crazy. My daughter was definitely crazy. I'm crazy. And that's it, that's how I describe my life in a paragraph.

I didn't have a single peaceful day in my life. Thanks to the author in the Cloud Kingdom who didn't edit her work and left it on the first draft.

"You're welcome," the author said and ended the book.
