Zane entered the hollowed-out tree and walked down a set of stairs to the bottom if the tree.

"So, this is your home, my mysterious friend." Zane said setting down the falcon. He found the blueprints for the mechanical falcon and fixed him up. The falcon flew around for a bit.

It landed on the blueprints and another sheet poked out from underneath. Zane took it in his hands to get a look.

"No! It can't be!" Zane dropped to the ground.

"NO!!!"

Sensei Wu walked up to and entered a small tea shop.

"I would like to purchase some traveler's tea please." Sensei said to the worker.

"Never heard of it!" The shop worker said. Wu placed a handful of coins on the counter. The worker started to prepare the tea.

"You know, those who drink this never return." She hander Wu the teapot.

"Then I will not bother you again." Sensei Wu left.

"You're sure he came in here." Morro asked.

"Where else would he be? Building a snow-man?" Kai responded.

"That is a good point." Cole said.

"Zane?" Kai called out. The four ninja were walking down the steps into the hollowed-out tree.

"Wow, would you look at this place!" Jay exclaimed.

They came to find Zane on the floor.

"Zane, what's wrong?" Jay asked.

"Are you hurt?" Kai asked.

"Zane?" Morro said.

"Are you okay?" Cole asked Zane.

Zane reached for the blueprints once more. He sighed. Zane stood up and reached for his mid-section. He opened a panel.

"What the--" everyone screamed.

"You're a... A robot?!" Kai exclaimed.

"All this time... I never knew." Zane looked down.

"Uh, guess this explains why you're always acting so weird. Right? Hehe." Jay said awkwardly.

"You know, it... Does explain a few things." Morro said.

"The reason I never had a sense of humor was because my funny switch wasn't on." Zane flipped a switch on his control panel and started to sing and dance around them. Jay laughed while the others kinda just stared.

Zaen flipped the switch off and sighed.

"Uh, it just makes you more special. You're still the same Zane. Just more, uh, gears." Cole put a hand on Zane's shoulder.

"No matter what you're made of, you're still our brother." Kai reassured.

"Really?" Zane asked.

"Being different than being the same as everyone else." Morro said.

"Yeah, and how cool is it that I can honestly say "My brother is a Nindroid?"" Jay said.

"A Nindroid?" Zane asked confused.

"Now come on. Pythor is still out there looking for the first Fangblade, and we need you." Cole said.

"You'll have to go on without me. I just don't feel right." Zane said. The others sighed and left Zane alone.

"We just have to give him time. I don't know how I would feel if I was told I was a robot." Kai said walking out the door.

"You mean a nindroid!" Jay implied.

"Yeah, whatever." Kai said.

"How do we even get out of this place?" Cole looked around. Nothing but birch trees and snow for miles.

Something made a sound.

"What was that?" Morro alerted the others. Cole saw something shift.

"Did you see that?!" Cole said.

"See what?!" Jay said.

"I just saw it too! Tree horns!" Kai said.

Tall creatures started to move towards the ninja. Their legs looked like long birch trees, making them able to hide in plain sight. The robot that Zane previously destroyed was lying on the ground, sparks flying out of the control panel.

"Oh, great. I think that thing was supposed to protect this place." Kai said.

"Looks like, it's up to us guys!" Kai said.

"Ninja-g-ugh ow!" Kai tried to do spinjitzu but got kicked around by the tree horns like a pinball.

"There are too many of them!" Cole shouted. The ninja were quickly overpowered.

Zane picked up the blueprints again.

"A memory switch?" Zane found a switch on his panel and pressed it.

"Hello, Zane."

Zane opened his eyes. A man was positioned above him. Zane sees himself in a mirror as Dr. Julien helps him walk. It then shows him learning to cook and hugging a lamp.

"You were built to protect those who cannot protect themselves." He said.

Dr. Julien builds the Falcon and takes a picture of the three.

The scene changes to Dr. Julien laying on his bed. At this time, he has aged.

Zane's expression saddened.

"You were always the son I never had. It's time you begin your next stage in life. And the only reason I'm about to do this is because I love you." Dr. Julien took his glasses off. He slowly reached for Zane's memory switch and pressed it. Zane went motionless. The glasses fell on the ground just as Zane started to reboot and move again.

The memories end there. Zane shed a single tear as the falcon perched on his shoulder. Zane smiled.

"Hey guys!" Zane ran up the stairs.

"Wait up!" He opened the door to see his friends being attacked.

"Ahh! Morro can't you do anything?!" Jay screamed. Morro eyed Zane standing near the entry way.

"Today's not my battle!" Morro replied.

"Leave my friends alone!" Zane demanded.

"Ninja-go!"

"What's gotten into him?" Cole asked.

Zane was fighting the tree horns off.

"I don't know, but I like it!" Kai said.

"Ninja-go!!!" All five ninja used their spinjitzu and the tree horns started to back away.

"Are they regrouping? Who's that?!" Jay shouted. A larger tree horn came out and started to walk towards them.

"The queen." Zane said.

"You will not hurt my friends. There is nothing that will hold me back. I know who I am!" Zane shouted. A light blue aura began to glow around Zane. A beam of light surrounded him. Zane's feet lifted off the ground.

"What's happening to him?" Kai shouted.

"I've never seen a robot do that!" Jay said.

"You mean a nindroid." Cole corrected.

"Yeah, whatever."

"He unlocked his true potential." Morro smiled.

Zane pulled out his shuriken and started to spin them, ice shot out and Zane froze the queen. His eyes shone bright as Zane uses his powers. He returned the ground.

"That was awesome!" Jay ran up to him.

"You should have seen yourself!" Kai said.

"I've never seen anything like it! Well, I have but not with ice!" Cole shouted.

"This must be what Sensei meant by unlocking our hearts. I remember now. I remember everything. I remember my father and how he cared for me. I remember where I came from. And I feel stronger for knowing." Zane said.

"You overcame your obstacle." Morro said.

"I'm so jealous. His powers are so cool!" Cole exclaimed.

"We have our very own nindroid!!" Jay jumped up in excitement.

"Watch out Pythor. We're coming to get you." Zane said gazing up.

Pythor is still trying to find the map.

"Where are the four Fangblades?" The fangpire general asked angry.

"What if there is no map?" The venomari general said.

"I know, I know! But I don't know where to look." Pythor said.

"Then I'm taking my Staff back." The fangpire said.

"Me too." The venomari said.

"Me three." The constrictai general said.

He accidentally hits the venomari general. They dropped their Staff sand Pythor sees their anti-venom mixing together.

"That's it!" Pythor exclaimed.

"What's it?" Skales asked.

Pythor recolleced the Serpentine Staffs.

"The Map of Fangs. It's been right in front of us all this time!" Pythor placed the staffs around the stone table.

"When the five fangs unite as one, the path toward the Devourer has begun."

"It's not speaking of the five tribes, it's the venom in the five Staffs." Pythor implied.

He slides a piece of paper under the venom which created the map to the fangblades.

"Behold, the locations of the four Silver Fangblades!" Pythor held up the map.

Everyone cheers.

"Soon, the Great Devourer will be unleashed and Ninjago will be ours!"

Sensei Wu was sitting at the top of a mountain. A fire was brewing a pot of tea. Wu picked the teapot and poured the tea around on the ground. A blue, purple glowing portal opened. He picked up the case with his katana in it and walked through the rip in the realm.

Coming out if the portal, Sensei Wu tumbled on to the ground. He landed in the realm of madness.

"Hello brother." A voice said.

Wu looked up. There he saw his brother, Garmadon standing before him.

"What took you so long?" Garmadon laughed.
