"HEY JORDAN", I heard hope scream ,"What is this!". She climbed down the ladder and picked up the watch that I had made.
I remember staying up all night working on the watches so I could give one to hope next time I saw her. I wasn't expecting them to work but when I put it next to the blue marble, it had a strong electrical force with the....
you know what never mind let's just say it was magic.
She put it around her wrist trying it on while I was asleep.
"Cool!" She said to herself. She turned it on.
-
The watch lit up to life, and fueled my curiosity more.
What is it", I said to myself, not realizing at my young age that Jordan could wake up any second.
I walked out the broken down door. Stepping over little and big pieces of wood, trying to think up how he found this place.
I spun around in the old well looking at all parts of the wall. I put my hands out creating the design plan in my mind.
"Painting there and painting there",I stopped talking and walked back over to the room that Jordan was in.
I sat on the desk and cuffed my hand. "HEY JORDAN DIDN'T YOU HERE ME", I screamed, being annoying.
"Is it Friday", he jolted up from his dream.
I jumped off the desk, "it doesn't really matter here".
He rubbed his head ,"Yea I guess your right".
I spun to the right hoping he would follow. He looked down at his shirt, "I feel disgusting".
I turned around and looked at him. It finally accrued to me that had been their a lot of action and hadn't got a shower or a change of clothes.
I smirked, "I'll take care of that". I put my arms to my side's superhero stance, "Road trip!"
I took him through the cornfield to the optics blacksmith shop.
They were the people that had taken care of me when I was in a forced apprenticeship with the modsteps. I would come over every so often and plan godless plans that they would never go their with. I was the secret weapon with my bow and small size.
We got to the end of the cornfield with ease. Though I would still check around and look if the Modsteps were neer. To the optics is where I would get all my trouble from them. Not that they cared about me. I think they lacked the ability to have guilt.
The Modsteps just wanted me over for there experiments, which I'm not to prevalent on taking about right now.
I opened the poorly painted white door and took off my leather boots. "Wait here until I find Hex, and don't get killed by Nadeshot".
"Yea, whatever", he sat down on the floor and waved me away. Must have still been tired, I thought to myself.
I ran up the stairs from the blacksmithing area to the house part.
The blacksmithing area was a basement cut in half by a wall. One part was where they kept the well and spigot an the other part is where they kept the area that they made the weapons. Like the furnace and the anvil. The house was one floor with a kitchen with a stove, a kettle, and a sink that wasn't attached to a counter and was hanging on the wall with the two curving pipes under it.
I took my socks off, and ran into the small living room with a couple of chairs and a old tv by a basket filled with old V.C.R tapes and records that you could find at the Montiellla pawn shop.
The Montiella pawn shop only sells things from the modern world. Really old broken pieces of anything that he can people to believe is special and put a bargain on.
"Hex!". I yelled for him I ran down the hall.
I peaked in him and nadeshots bedroom. There bedroom looked normal. The grey bunk bed was unmade and the desk for Hex's paper work was unorganized and had an aria of busy wafting off it.
He wasn't in the guest bedroom that was basically mine by the time. I had put a bunch of my drawings on the wall. On the bed was a yellow pillow with a smiley face on it and a old pink quilt that I had had since I was a baby. My stuff animals also resigned in the room while I was away on godless missions or dealing with the modesteps.

I couldn't find Hex so I ran down the hall again until I bumped into Nadeshot.
"Ow", he called out. He looked mad, then again he usually looked mad when I was around. "Hope stop running through the halls."
"Sorry", I apologized, "I brought the new guy and since he doesn't have a shower and stuff he could maybe clean up here", I said in a high pitch voice trying to beg nonchalantly.
By this time Jordan had got upstairs and was standing in the top of the stairwell. Nade glanced over at him and then looked up.
He started making little whistles through his teeth. Thinking about the situation. What exactly to do. "Fine", he said abruptly like he didn't care about the consequence. "But if hex gets mad it anyone it's you".
I nodded my head yes not worried. Hex would have never yelled at me, even if I really needed to be scolded.
Jordan went back to the bathroom and shut the door.
I went and sat on the couch and put in the V.C.R tape Dracula. I heard someone walk up the stairs. It was Hex.
He put down a bag and his hands were dirty with ash and oil, probably working on Tom's dagger. He usually doesn't put much effort in if he's working on the Modsteps guns.
He sat down by me and took off his socks. "Is Nadeshot taking a shower, we need to talk about some of the prices for wea-", he stoped talking Nadeshot walked into the room an sat down by him.
He was glaring at Nade. "Why aren't you in the shower, who's in the shower".
Nadeshot smirked, "Ask your little angel".
Hex started nodding his head yes trying not to yell at me, "That's probably alright then".
The smirk disappeared from nadeshots face and he walked into his room.
Hex stood up, " Where are you going, the movie is just getting to the best part".
Nadeshot didn't say anything back.
I shrugged, " sorry it's the new guy".
"Hope what did I say about bringing people home. You don't know. They could be a spy for dianite", Hex said.
He started yelling at me when nadeshot left, and I was lunged into a conversation that I never dreamed I would be a part of.
"But he's the newbie I saw Tom bring him", I spoke up. "I saw Tom find him".
"Tom is leader of Dianite, he could of set this up", hex whispered
"He was attacked by the modsteps, he's on are side"
"That gives me more of a reason not to believe him, the modsteps actually know about the godless"
And my anger started to bubble up. Look I'm not the best at trusting someone, but I at least can see when someone is helpless.
"Can't you just trust someone!"
"Can't you just listen to me, tell him to leave he doesn't need to know about the godless!"
"I can't because he already knows about the godless and he's in it!!!"
Hex's eyes got huge. He started rubbing his temples ,"Oh Hope, Hope, Hope".
It might have not been a great idea to bring that up.
Jordan walked out of the bathroom. Everyone stood silent and awkwardly. I stood on the couch and crossed my arms.
Hex looked over at me ,"do you want any soup". I shook my head no. Nadeshot walked out of the room into the kitchen.
"I don't drink wine", Dracula said on the tv.
"Oh shut up", I threw my soccer ball at the tv and groaned.

New ones coming after that! _________________________________________________________________ Sneak Peek: Next to the kitchen, there was a small squared table and two wooden chairs, each made from different wood. The bookshelf behind those contained a decent amount of books. I stood up to take a closer look at them and even opened a few out of curiosity. While I could read most of them just fine, some of the oldest-looking books were written in a language I didn't recognize. "Hm? Was my hand always blue?" I didn't remember. In fact, I couldn't recall anything about myself, not even my name. Inspecting the rest of my body, I found that it was the same all over. I didn't feel sick; quite the opposite. Trying to find an answer to my situation, I kept investigating the odd room. _________________________________________________________________ Big thanks to Alice Griffin for helping me out with the cover.

Peerless Hegemon
Warning: Can be quite tearjerking and depressing (or so others say). If you are weak to that and hates that kind of thing, then this story is not for you === Ye Feng lived two lives in one lifetime. First, he basked in the light of Righteousness, becoming an idol of peace and justice. Second, he trod the mired path of the Darkest Path, becoming an object of fear and death. One lifetime, Two Identities, countless experiences, still without purpose. A meaningless existence. An empty husk. In his selfishness of wanting to fill the void in him, he became the catalyst that destroyed Reality. He now controlled everything, ultimate power, uncontestable by none. But he cast it away, to be reborn anew. With a new name and a family, his goal was to understand, his place. To understand how to no longer feel empty. With his family consisting of a Reincarnated Twin Sister and Parents with inscrutable pasts, his desire was not that of grandeur. In this lifetime, he wishes not to hold power, not to gain eternal life, nor control of everything, he only wishes to live, and hopefully look at sunrise with a smile on his face. === Disclaimer: The story focuses on the Main Character’s emotional and personality growth. He is someone who is, obviously OP in some perspectives but almost crippled in others. He is not soft and does not spare anyone because it is “Bad” so expect that there would be genocide and some bloody encounters. I want this instead of just the MC’s search for life and its complication. Where Philosophy and values exist. A story where every action has proper consequences, and not everything can be conquered with a single punch (unless it can be, no need for an unnecessary complication if it can be avoided). Further Notes: This is a story that will gradually increase in word counts and become Chunkier as it progresses and will almost never be below 2000 words, but if the word count will only lengthen the chapter at the expense of a finished tale, it could and would be cut off before 2000 mark), give it a try, it won’t disappoint (I hope). And if by chance that you like it, giving a good Rating and Review will be encouraging to me and possible readers. Schedule: Monday and Friday If you want to read ahead and/or support me to creating this story, you can do it through my Patreon (link below the next chapter button.) This is also a rewrite of this: Peerless Hegemon [OLD] | Royal Road
