Claire POV-

"Sleepy head, wake up"

"No mom, can I rest for five more minutes. Im too tired to go to school"

"Well today is your lucky day! You get to go to on an exiting escape out of the end instead"

Escape the what? Jordan thought. When she turned to check her alarm clock it wasnt there. In its place was strange sand. After a moment of drifting between dreams and reality she realized where she was. This wasn't her mom taking to her, it was Sonja. She had just called Sonja her mom, well...she will never live this one down.

"Sorry Sonja! I thought I was still back home i guess" she said while trying to hide her burning hot face. That always happened when she was embarrassed, her face would just decide to turn into a hot tomato. Most people thought it was cute and hilarious, to Claire it was just pain embarrassing.

"No worries! To be honest, I needed the laugh given the situation we are in. We are getting ready to go explore for a bit before we attempt our escape. Meet you outside for breakfast"

"Ill be there in a sec, thank you"

"No problem, hey Jordan, what do you think I should enchant? I have enough life levels for a chest plate or pants"

"Chest plate, definitely. Do you need e to enchant something for you. Ive died a lot less than your guys so i can afford to enchant more"

"Im good, just get ready."

With a simple nod Sonja left the make shift temple to go outside to her boyfriend. Jordan could already hear them laughing about nothing in particular. They sure knew how to have a good time.

Given that they are in a war it would be expected that everyone would be incredibly serious, and there are moments of seriousness but for the most part both sides still had fun. The pranks and jokes continued no matter how serious the circumstance was.

This was different than her world. It made things seem more relaxing at times but she knew better than to let her guard down. Nonetheless, they still taught her that she can find happiness wherever she is. Its much more easy to live life with a few jokes and pranks here and there, bring a smile to people's faces, except those that get pranked of course.

She grabbed her jacket and boots form the chest next to the make shift bed. As she was putting it on she grabbed her backpack and checked the contents. Not because she thought they would steal something form her, but. Because she was looking for something.

Her iPad was one of the few things from home she had with her at al times, she always had a fascination for electronics and machines so it was somewhat comforting to carry it everywhere. Also, she loved listening to music, it always blocked out all the problems and chaos fro the world. She tried not to turn it on too often since she had no way to charge it, if she ever needed it for an emergency she wanted to have it charged just in case. That is until she found a way to charge it, this isn't a primitive world, but the magic here wont be able to help her out with this.

She opened up a photo of her family and her at her high school graduation. It was one of her favorites, after stressing about college for years her face showed an immense about of relief. College was something she looked forward to, so that became one of the happiest days of her life. She wasn't popular or extremely attractive, so high school was really quiet for the most part, but she loved it.

After staring at the photo for a few seconds, wiping the tears away, she packer her stuff and went out for breakfast. As always, the food was very simple, they didn't really have much to work with anyways.

They ate in silence until Tucker started talking about their strategy to get out. Tucker is a lot of things, annoying salty, caring, but most importantly, he is a great strategist. She had learned much about strategy, specially during the purge. Maybe with time, she would become just as good as Tucker.

"What about the gods?" Shouldn't we wait for their response?"

"I think we have given the Gods enough time. We cant stay in the end for too long. You might feel ok here since this is our God's realm, but for us, its very nerve recking. I believe that with this plan we may be able to get out safely"

"Ok...ok, i trust you Tucker."

"Yeah lets just hope my man's plan works. Otherwise he will be salty for months"

With that, Tucker began to playfully chase Sonja around. Jordan laid down on the sand as their playful screams became more and more distant. As she closed her eyes she heard a sound coming from behind the temple.

"Im sick and tired of these mobs! Ill just have to go kill it before it sneaks up on my while i sleep"

As she made her way to the back of the temple, she counted to three and turned to face the mob.

"Wow, it really was a mob. For a second i thought you might be a person"

When she finally killed the enderman she had no time to react to the noise coming from behind her.

Great, the revenge of the endermen. The last glimpse she got was of Josh's evil grin as he hit her head with the handle of his sword.

Then the world began to swirl around her as she fought to keep herself awake. She tried to scream for help, but the worlds wouldn't come out of her mouth. She felt pressure coming from her hair as if someone was pulling her up with it. Last think she heard was Josh's voice.

"I told you that you would pay, but i wont kill you. Not yet that is." The faint sounds of laughter ran through her ears as she fell into a deep slumber
