Claire POV-

Jordan was still in awe on the aspect of the end. While it was satisfying to finally see the realm of her god, the realm she had only seen though a screen back home, she wished it was under different circumstances.

The three of them where stuck in the end, Tom and his gang were on the other side waiting for them to come out, under normal circumstances Tucker would have wanted them to fight but Jordan could tell he was thinking the same as she was.

They wouldn't be able to win, and they had a great deal of valuables that would take them weeks to replace. It was best to play it safe and hope their original plan of seeking out the gods would work out.

She was afraid...if memory served, sparkles wasnt able to contact his goddess when he built the temple. But things were different, events were happening differently, nothing was going according to "script" of what had happened in the show. So maybe there was hope after all.

Although she never put her energy towards hope, her life was different now. There was nothing familiar about this world compared to her home. All she had was her new friends and her god, they knew this world better than her, she had no idea how things would play out so her best bet was staying with them and not rest her faith that the events of Mianite would play out as she has seen.

"Jordan, cmon we should start building the temple. Im not sure our blockade will last forever..." said Tucker.

"Hey...do you guys think this will work. I mean, will the gods even want to help? Would Mianite come help?" Jordan asked softly not wanting to make it sound as though she was doubting the couple's god. After all Tucker had been very understanding towards her "non existent" god as most people liked to put it.

"Its hard to tell. Mianite does what he sees fit. Its hard to tell if he would come to our aid if this is not a battle against Dianite. The way he might see this is as mortals fighting against eachother with no need for god involvement...but he is our best shot at the moment." He said firmly, Tucker strongly believed in his god, but he was also honest.

"Besides we aren't just reaching out to our god, dont you have faith Ianite will respond as well?" Sonja pointed out as she was taking out the supplies for the temple.

Jordan looked at them perplexed, was she asking her is she believed her lord would come help, or is she believed in him. The truth is, she didn't know the answer to either of those questions, she didn't know Lord Ianite as well as Tucker and Sonja knew Lord Mianite.

In a way she envied that, they really knew their god, Jordan's best guess was that Dianite had Ianite locked up somewhere, torturing him, keeping him from being here with her. But things here aren't always as she predicts. He could just be ignoring her...

She snapped out of her thoughts and answered in the most honest way she could.

"The truth is, im not sure if he can help us directly. It is my belief that Dianite is keeping him locked up, if he is, then he may only be able to send us weapons and info through Mianite. Right now we should refrain from asking for weapons that may only help us temporarily. Instead we should ask for the coordinates for the secret bases, if we have those we can loot their stuff and they would be defenseless"

"Right. Lets get on with it then" Tucker said.

The temple wasnt as complex and big as the other she had seen, but it wasnt bad given the limited supplies they had. They set up a simple rectangle wooden structure with a sign indicating their request, and a chest behind it with a sacrifice for the gods.

Given their limited supplies the sacrifice consisted of things they had in hand such as weapons and ores. While the secret chest was being set up Jordan made a sign with a secret message to her god. It read:

"M'Lord,

I have a feeling that you may not receive our message but I wanted to take a chance and leave you this in case you do. Im worried about you, i havent seen you in my dreams as of late and i wish to make sure you are well. That being said, if you could just let me know how you are and if you could help us get an advantage in this war, that would be greatly appreciated. Although im new to this world and the aspect of war itself, i will fight as best as I can in your name. During this war, I will show them how real team Ianite is and the strength we posses. I wont let you down my lord. You are all I have.

Your devout follower,

Jordan Sparkles

She gave it one last glance before putting it under some wood to keep it out of sight of anyone. Hopefully her letter could reach him.

As they added some finishing touches to the temple, they took turns resting. Given the aspect of the war, sleep was a rare occurrence, and since the others couldnt get to the end this was a perfect opportunity to do so. Tucker took first watch to keep us safe from the strange mobs of this world. Although the ender men wouldnt attack unless looked upon or attacked, it was still best if we kept an eye out.

Me and Sonja laid out some make shift beds inside the temple and got ready for a nap. As Jordan quickly learned since she arrived here, always sleep with one eye open you never know what can come out of nowhere. Just as she was about to drift into a peaceful sleep she heard Sonja faintly calling her name.

"Jordan, are you still awake?" Sonja whispered for the third time

"Yeah, whats up? Cant sleep?"

"Thats not it, i wanted t ask you something earlier but didn't want to do it in front of Tucker. This is strictly girl talk" she said with a small giggle.

"Oh yeah? Whats that? You think one of the ender men out there was a crush on me too?" Jordan said between small quiet chuckles.

"Very funny.. but no. Ive noticed that everytime you talk about Ianite you get this look on your face, and you hold on to that bracelet of yours like your life depends on it. Whats up with that?"

"What do you mean? What kind of face do I make?"

"Its like you are hurt or worried, but at the same time it brings a sparkle to your eyes."

"Really? I never noticed. I guess Im just worried about him. He is one of the few people ive met that has made me feel safe as of late. He gave me advice when I needed it, and made me feel like i was strong enough to survive here. I had heard...stories about Ianite in my world, in a way im just afraid that some of that information is true, specially when i know how important he will be in my life as my god."

"I see. Tucker told me you had spoken to Ianite before, its rare for a god to do something like that. Thats what sets us all apart from the rest of the planet. The people in this island were chosen by the gods, we are the only people the gods speak to. Form what ive heard, outsiders are never spoken to, much less chosen as champions"

"So, are you not from this island?"

"Nah, me and Tucker are from a town that was destroyed my Dianite's monsters long ago. We were neighbors as kids, then the mobs attacked and we ended up being the only survivors. We despised Dianite for what he had done, so we decided to go hunt him down"

"How old were you?"

"Twelve. Thats when Mianite talked to us. Thats why we joined his side, to fight against the forces of Dianite and prevent them from hurting others. Mianite gave us refuge in this island that we now call home, we trained and grew up with his widom. He is like a father to me."

"I..I didn't know that, Im sorry about your village Sonja"

"Dont sweat it, it was long ago. Besides, Tucker has always been here for me. I've never been alone, we also had the priest look out for us, all of us. In a way i think the priest has had a hard time raising the three of us along with the modesteps and nade. Thats why he is never around."

"How did Tom and the others get here then?"

"Thats a story for another time, right now we should rest."

"Of course, goodnight. Ill take next watch when Tucker gets tired."

"Wake me up when you need to rest"

With that Jordan fell into a deep sleep, thinking about Sonja's words. The pain she had seen in her eyes when she mentioned her home, but mostly the smile she had when she mentioned her boyfriend.

Jordan woke up to the sound of an ender man dying. Man that was loud, she though.

She made it out of the covers while half asleep, leaving the comfort of her bed to go outside being careful not to wake up Sonja.

"You should go to bed, you let me sleep longer than I should have." Jordan said

"Sorry about that, i accidentally looked one of them in the eye and had to kill him. Rough work since they teleport and all."

"Right. Well go inside, there is some food in a chest me and Sonja set up if you are hungry."

"Thanks, by the way.... I kinda over heard you girls talking. It got me thinking, i dont know much about your past. I know your from another world, but I dont know much else. Care to share a thing or two? After all, we have an alliance now, i wish to know who i'm allies with."

"I guess its unfair I know stuff about you and you dont know much about me. Ask away then."

"Hmmm, before, Tom said you lied about your name when he brought you over to us. Whats the deal with that?"

"Well my real name is Claire Johansen. I dont know why it my name is Jordan Sparkles here, its just easier going with thin name so people dont think im lying about my name all the time."

"Thats a very unusual name. I like it, but i hope you dont mind if i call you Jordan, im used to it by now. Also, tell me about your family, i mean do you have any back home?"

"Yeah. My parents and my sister, they are great. We are rarely apart from each other, aside from right now that is. They are my life"

"Anyone special back in your world?"

"Not really. Im not big on dating, specially since the last guy i saw back home was the one who caused me to be her in the first place. As you can see, i dont have the best luck in the world with guys"

"Woah, well if it makes you feel better, im glad that happened. You are a great friend, we are all glad to have met you, except for Josh i guess"

They burst out laughing at the accuracy of Tucker's statement for what seemed like hours. Finally Tucker spoke once more.

" How about friends. Have any back home?"

"Some, but i just graduated high school so everyone when their separate ways. I don't keep in touch as well as i should. I do have one very close friend though, she calls me Claire bear. Its the most annoying nickname but she is my best friend"

"Claire bear? Hahahaha. I might just call you that every now and then."

"Dont you dare! Hahaha. Well you should go inside and rest with Sonja. You can always interrogate me later, but know that so will I"

"In a few years we will know so much about each other, we might just become new besties huh?"

With that Tucker went inside. Jordan got out her blanket and book she took out from her bag earlier. It was a book she had found at the priest's house a few days back while looking for an enchantment table. It was about the gods so she took it too see if there was any information on Ianite.

Blanket wrapped and sword in hand she began reading, locking out all the noise and problems around her.

Hi again. I decided to change the story stile to third perspective to make it sound more appealing. Hope you enjoy!
