Stefan POV-
These have been some weird days for the world. There is so much uncertainty that no one knows what to believe anymore. For us, the world Claire was in made no sense, but to Claire's sister and the son of one of the scientist, this was their dream come true. They had explained everything. How this world was something they had seen before, in a twitch stream! Of course everyone laugher at them until they showed us the similarities between the youtube stars and the people Claire was with.
Researchers got on it and began researching the similarities between that world and the world that was streamed. Sure enough it was. Some of the conversations that Claire had involved the names of the Gods themselves.
The government brought everyone involved, from the streamers, to the behind the scenes crew. All we got from them was blank expressions, the ideas for the world and characters came to them from dreams they had along with the improv of the streamers.
Once they got to see them up close, sure enough, the similarities were uncanny. All but one. Jordan Maron had no person that looked like him, the mystery remained until we hear them call out to Claire. They called her Jordan, and Sparkles. According to him that is what his names are.
The world was told. The Mianite content had never been so famous. All the previous fans were beyond thrilled the world they loved was true. Others were just getting into it, but nevertheless the show grew in popularity. The government had decided to release the footage of the world of Miante out to the world so they could see how Claire was doing, and for propaganda. Its like it became the most popular reality show over night. That is all magazines and news cast talk about. What happened today in the world of Mianite? What has Claire been up to? The more obsessive side of humanity focused on shipping people, it got awkward for a while since Sonja and Tucker broke up in this world, having people ship their other selves... yeah it got weird.
Meanwhile others like Stefan have been worried sick. From what they understand there is a war going on. Claire's parents have been worried sick about their daughter, while her sister is too, she is very fascinated by this world. Apparently things aren't happening the way they are supposed to according to Claire's sister.

Specially today.
There is a whole room of people sitting in from of monitors all day watching her. If something that shouldn't be shown appears they cut the stream with their 10 second delay window. Since this is happening in current time there have been many attempts to speak with her, but so far nothing has worked. Sometimes when Stefan is worried, he goes over to try to talk to her, its therapeutic in sense, he apologizes to her a lot. Although his guilt has not decreased by one bit, it does help him sleep.
From what he has seen, she is not at all how her parents described her.
She is such a badass.
She can fight and kill, she is just as smart as they described her though.
She sings when she is bored, sometimes not even knowing she is.
Her laugh is extremely contagious, she laughs at the smallest jokes.
She loves to dance, an she is really good at it, she only sings old songs so her ancient dancing is a little out of date.
She loves to solve problems, and loves to help people out, sometimes that gets her killed though.
The first time she died. Everyone freaked out, the public was in mourning for a few minutes until she came back to life. Even after people just couldnt get over the sock.
Stefan felt as though his heart had sunk.
Then after a few more deaths they realized the laws of minecraft regarding death were applied to this word. Now there is a page dedicated to counting everyone's deaths like its a competition or something.
Stefan still cringes at the sight of her dying though. He also gets a few dirty glances from Claire's father every time she does die. From what is understood its not exactly painless, they feel the full blow. Its more bearable if their death is quick though.
Then there is the aspect of the gods. From what was told to Stefan, there are three Gods. Mianite, Dianite, and Ianite. They are all siblings and rule different places. Mianite rules what is known as the overworld, Dianite the nether, and Ianite the end. The end is where Claire is currently at, its kinda terrifying. Who would think that a lady of balance would rule such a place. Specially with her reputation here.

No one has actually seen the Gods here yet, but it seems as though Claire already has, given that she is a woman of science, he can assume that her claim of the gods is true.
The first thing we saw was them running way from a group of people, then Claire and her group went into the end. Everything has been somewhat calm since. They are planing an escape though, which by the looks of it might work.
Stefan has spent a lot of time by the main screens, making sure the situation is ok. Her parents come often, but since this can be streamed on tv they have spent a lot more time at home getting back to their life. The one person that has been coming a lot is Jordan Maron. He is a very curious man that has asked Stefan how the machine works multiple times. Sometimes he just stares at the screen all day, some believe that since Claire is called Sparkles, there must be a connection between both of them.
It is true, they are both brilliant. They both love music and machines. They are both incredibly adorable from what Stefan is told. But Claire isnt Jordan's responsibility, he shouldn't care this much. She is Stefan's responsibility, he is the only one who should be this involved.
"Hey man! How is she doing today?" Said Jordan.
None of your business. Stefan though
"She is alright as usual. Just getting ready for breakfast. Dont you have streaming to do or something?"
"Yes is did it last night so I could get here bright an early. Any word on the Gods? To be honest im very excited to see what my lady looks like in real life."
"So thats it. You dont really care about Claire do you? You come here to see your imaginary goddess!?"
"Of course not. Im excited for Ianite to be there to protect her. Ive gotten to know Claire quite a bit, I'm very humbled that she watched my videos in her time here. To be honest, her and I are very alike. I just don't want her to make my mistakes, I need her to be safe."
"Whatever. Just watch your step, I don't want you to unplug any cables. And just so you know, I don't think you are anything like her"
Jordan burst out laughing ."Why are you always so defensive. You're the one that caused this in the first place man. I'm just trying to help"
Thats right. He did.
Stefan just didnt like Jordan, he was way to nice. The world loved him, they always thought of him and Claire together. Meanwhile the person that was actually trying to fix the problem was still being blamed for his mistakes.
Its ok though, he dint care. The only judgement he cared for was Claire's, she would be the one to decide his fate.
As he was lost in his thoughts, they heard a loud bang coming from the speakers. They quickly tuned to the screens to see what was happening. It was Claire, getting hit in the head!
That Josh guy! No way. Then suddenly his phone exploded with news and social media, they were all about the kidnapping of Claire. The worse part about this is that no matter what always happens, there is nothing anyone can do but watch. Jordan was freaking out screaming at the screen.
He had never seen him so worked up over something.
All Stefan could do is stand there and do nothing. Josh carried her over his shoulders and they both went through the end portal. He had waged war against her personally before. The thought of the pain he would put her through was unbearable. If he killed her, she would just spawn back in the end, so he probably wasnt gonna do that.
Stefan and Jordan looked at each other for a second, both with worried looks on their faces. Stefan didnt have to tell Jordan hat he was thinking because he was clearly thinking the same thing.
Today is not gonna be a good day...

Apollyon's Curse
Within the pages of folklore and fantasy, tales of people who chase after the dream of eternity, of living forever, rarely find a happy ending. They are either struck by the grim truth of reality, give up, and return to mortality or face a ghastly realization of their wishes. The latter often the worse fate, as they come to realize, only far too late, that what they sacrificed was worth far more than the time they gained. Ultimately, the common thread in these stories is that “immortality is as much a curse as it is a blessing”. People either realize it early and give up or are doomed to inevitably face its consequences. In the world Enrich lives in, that saying does hold merit. Every pathway towards eternal life has shackles of its own. They bring those high above down to the ground, evening the playing field. It is thanks to these fundamental laws that ambitious mortals are able to defy the heavens and achieve immortality themselves. The variety of methods result in each of these bindings varying in intensity and degree of freedom. Enrich’s path doesn't break this trend. Though, after what he did to himself, most wouldn’t even consider him a living thing anymore. On the day of his ascension, a world’s worth of souls were melted and recast. On that day, the human’s path had reached its conclusion, recast into Apollyon. An artifact, a weapon, is eternal, after all. As for the curse? The payment will be made, as it must. So why not offload the curse to someone else? Mortals throw their lives away for all manner of petty reasons, noble or otherwise, especially in desperation. Eventually, someone will be willing to foot the bill. Most will if given the chance. The bait is far too tempting, after all. Power, status, knowledge. All at their fingertips. If only they say “yes”. And Apollyon is very willing to help any lost souls. If they give up everything in return, of course.
