A few days had passed since Kieran and I had announced our engagement to everyone. We were still very happy, living in our own little dream bubble. I had been feeling a little under the weather these past few days. Kieran insisted I visit Dr Wilson but I told him that I would be fine and it was probably a bug I had picked up. I made sure to drink plenty of water and keep my fluids up since I couldn't really face eating much. Gayle had so kindly made me some of her homemade chicken soup to try and help settle my stomach. I was currently sitting outside in the garden with my mum, Emily, Sophie and Rebecca who were planning Kieran and I's party.

"I think you would look amazing in a silver or grey dress" Sophie said

I wasn't really paying much attention, I was so deep in my own thoughts. I was thinking about things Kieran had told me and other things when I felt someone gently nudge me.

"Huh ? What ?" I asked looking around at everyone

"Are you okay darling ? You seem a little distracted" my mum said

"She's probably just lovesick missing her Alpha mate" Emily joked

"I'm fine, I just got distracted" I answered

"As I was saying, I think you would really suit a silver or grey dress" Sophie said repeating herself to me.

"I don't have a silver or grey dress" I pointed out

"We can always buy you one" Emily said

"But I like the lilac one I wore to my birthday party here or the blue one that Kieran got for me as a surprise, I think I'd really love to wear that one" I tried to protest

"No, you need a new one for him to see you in" Sophie insisted

Without another word, Sophie placed her laptop down in front of me. I wasn't getting out of this one. I don't know why I needed yet another new dress. I began looking while the others talked among themselves.

"I think we can count on your mum for the food" Sophie said to Rebecca

"Yeah we can ask her" Rebecca said

I typed in a few different sites on the laptop, even though my mind wasn't really on this matter it was on something else completely. I began to feel uneasy so I got up.

"You okay ?" Emily asked giving me a concerned look

"Yes, bathroom break" I replied and walked away, heading for inside the house.

I breathed a sigh of relief once I was inside.

"Are they really that bad ?" A familiar voice asked

I turned to the side and saw Gayle standing there as she studied me.

"Sophie's insisting I look for a new dress, I tried to say no but you know Sophie" I replied

"Want to come sit with me ?" Gayle offered

I nodded and followed her into her kitchen. I pulled out a chair from the table and sat down. Gayle finished what she was doing and sat down across from me, before she sat down, she placed a glass of water down for me.

"Thank you" I said offering a small smile.

"Penny for your thoughts" Gayle said

"I don't even know where to begin" I said shrugging

"Let's start with what's on your mind" Gayle said

I took a deep breath before looking back up at Gayle.

"On the condition it stays between us" I said

"Of course Luna" Gayle nodded

I took a few minutes to collect my thoughts and to tell her what was on my mind, when I was sure, I told her what was really troubling me.

Gayle was very easy to talk to and great at giving me some advice on what I should do about my troubles. I finished my water and thanked her before getting up and heading to where I needed to go now. I was careful, no one saw me or where I was heading too. I was stood outside the wooden door, I took a deep breath before knocking. From the inside of the room, I heard a familiar voice call for me to enter. I mustered up all my strength and pushed the door open.

I was awoken a few hours later when I felt someone gently moving my hair out of my face and tucking it to the side. I opened my eyes and saw Kieran sitting there.

"Hey shhh it's okay, you just fell asleep" Kieran said

"What time is it ?" I asked

"18:30" Kieran answered

"Sophie is gonna be absolutely-" I began but Kieran cut me off

"I've asked her to go easy on you, I'm getting worried about you, I'm going to ask Dr Wilson to come up and check you over" Kieran said.

Suddenly alarm bells began to ring.

"You can't" I blurted out

Kieran gave me a confused look

"I've already been to see him, I went earlier today" I explained

"What did he say ?" Kieran asked

"He took a few blood samples and checked me over, he gave me some anti sickness tablets, they can make you feel drowsy and tired hence why I kinda fell asleep" I said

"Don't worry about it, I'm glad you went and seen him, I just wish you'd let me know, I would have come to be with you" Kieran said

"Didn't want to worry you" I answered

"Don't worry now, are you feeling any better ?" Kieran asked

"A little yes and I'm feeling a little hungry too"

Kieran seemed surprised but also relived to hear my answer

"Good, you need to eat something, want me to bring you something up ?" Kieran offered

"No, I'll come down" I smiled

Kieran and I sat at the pack table, a few of the others were also there.

"Are you feeling better now ?" Rebecca asked

"I am now, especially since I went and spoke with Dr Wilson earlier, he gave me something to help, it made me feel dizzy and nauseous" I explained

"I'm sorry if I was pushy with you" Sophie said

"You weren't, I just wasn't a hundred percent up to anything but hopefully now I will be" I smiled

"Please don't be mad at us" Sophie said

I looked at Sophie then to Rebecca and Emily who all held a guilty expression on their faces.

"Why would I be mad ?" I asked them all

"We kinda found you the perfect dress for the party and we ordered it for you, to cheer you up" Emily explained

"That was very sweet and thoughtful of you all, thank you" I smiled

"Your not mad ?" Sophie asked

"No, I just wasn't feeling well earlier, I'm sorry I just left" I said

"Looks like everything is all sorted and everyone is forgiven" Kieran said

"Yes, you can show me the dress later when there are no men around" I said smiling to Sophie

"Don't I even get to see ?" Kieran asked

"No, it will be a surprise for you" Sophie said very sternly

"How did you all get on with the plans ?" I asked

"All great, Gayle is on the food and cake, your mum and Emily is on the decorations, I have arranged the music and drinks" Sophie explained

"You best tell her the date for the party" Kieran said

"It's this Friday night" Rebecca answered

"That's only a few nights away" I said uncertain

"I know, it's also my brother's birthday on Saturday, the next day so he's getting a birthday and engagement party, two for one" Sophie shrugged

I turned to Kieran and looked at him confused

"It's your birthday on Saturday ? Why didn't you tell me ?" I asked

"It's no big deal, I have everything I could ever need or want with you" Kieran said

As I thought about what he was saying, an idea popped into my head.

The few days had come in quick, it was now Friday afternoon. I was with Sophie, Emily, my mother and Rebecca getting ready in Sophie's room. The dress they had ordered for me arrived, Sophie, Emily and Rebecca had gone into town to pick it up but Sophie kept it hidden in her room. My hair was done up in a bun with a braid going around it, Emily had left a few strands out just to shape my face a bit. I had already brushed my teeth and putt my scents on. Kieran had been generous enough to leave me a bottle of Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume for me in Sophie's room which I had put on, my mum had helped with my make up, I think by now everyone knew I wasn't a massive fan of make up so they knew not to get my face caked in the stuff.

"Okay I think you are now ready for your dress" Sophie cheered

"Where is it ?" I asked

"I took great delight in leaving it in my en suite for you so you can surprise us and let us see it on you before my brother does and decides to whisk you away" Sophie joked

I shook off their jokes and walked into the en suite bathroom. I closed the door and there hung up on the back of the door was the most beautiful grey dress I have ever seen. It was a beautiful light grey shade, two short straps at each side for my arms, there was a gem studded belt just down from the top of the dress and the bottom was long and flowy with some ruffles. I lifted the dress down and carefully took it off the hanger, getting it ready for me to put on. The dress itself looked and felt very expensive almost designer like. I really hope they didn't go too overboard on this dress. I carefully put the dress on and fixed it to it looked right on me. It fitted great, I guess I didn't even need to give them my size although they probably already knew it.

I took a glance at myself in the mirror and a few deep breathes before I decided to make my way back into the room. I opened the door and stepped back into the room where I knew my mother and the girls were waiting for me. As soon as I opened the door, I could feel all their gazes towards the door and me. I slowly stepped into the door way and their view.

"Oh my" My mother gasped

"What's wrong ?" I asked suddenly alarmed

"Nothing, that dress really suits you, you look amazing" Emily said happily

"Kieran isn't gonna know what hit him" Sophie smirked

"Right let's all leave and head down to the ball room, Kieran is coming to pick you up" My mother told me

I nodded in response and they all left. I can't be certain for sure but I think I have noticed Emily and Bradley checking each other out a bit recently. Maybe they are true mates or maybe they just like each other, who knows but I'll find out, I'll speak to Emily later on.

After a few moments on my own, a knock came to the door, it opened and Kieran entered the room.

"Wow look absolutely breath taking" Kieran said as he walked over to me

"You don't look so bad yourself" I joked

"You know we could ditch the party and stay up here but in our room" Kieran said

"No, we're going downstairs" I smiled

"Spoil sport" Kieran smirked

"You've seen me in a dress before remember, the lilac one from the ball and the blue one you surprised me with" I pointed out

"I know, I wish you would wear them more often" Kieran said

"I'm not a massive fan of dresses, I prefer my other clothes as well" I laughed

We settled our playful talk and made our way downstairs to join everyone else. There was already a lot of people here, most of our pack members, Oliver and Jenny plus a lot more of our other allies.

"Drink ?" Kieran asked as he spotted the table which held a various assortment of alcoholic drinks.

"Oh yes please but water or juice for me please" I replied

Kieran gave me a confused look

"My tablets I'm on from Dr Wilson, I can't drink" I pointed out

"Oh of course, sorry I forgot about those" Kieran said as he apologised

We spent the night talking to our guests, most of the women who had attended just wanted to see my new ring. I smiled happily as I showed it off. Kieran was with most of the males from his pack plus a few others like Oliver. He looked happy as he talked to them, although I was a bit further away from him and most of the girls were surrounding me and crowding around me, I could still feel Kieran's eyes on me as he glanced over my way from time to time.

I don't know why but I was getting a gut feeling that there was something that Felicity wasn't telling me about. She had been ill for a few days but as soon as I mention Dr Wilson, she tells me she has already been and is on some medication from him, then she refuses any alcoholic drinks at our engagement party. I wonder if maybe she was hiding something big from me or if she was having second thoughts about this whole thing. I decided that I would find out one way or another. I know if I ask her, she will most likely make up the first lie that pops into her head. I guess I could ask Dr Wilson but could he really tell me anything without breaking his patient confidentiality ? I kept on glancing over at Felicity from time to time just to check on her and see how she was, every time I looked over, she was happily showing off her ring.

The night had gone by smoothly without any kind of disruption or interruptions. I had given a small speech and then Felicity and I had shared a few dances together. I held her close to me as we danced.

"You okay ?" Felicity asked

"Just happy, right now, in this moment" I answered honestly

"Well we have lots more to come" Felicity smiled

"Your not having second thoughts ?" I asked

As soon as I did, Felicity's head snapped up so her eyes were looking directly into mine

"Of course I'm not, what's brought this on ?" Felicity asked shocked

"I don't know, I get the feeling that your hiding something from me" I answer truthfully

"I'm not hiding anything from you" Felicity said almost in a defensive tone

"Well you went to Dr Wilson without me then you refuse a drink" I shrugged

"Kieran, I only went to put your mind at ease, you were busy, I didn't want to disturb or be a burden to you, I already explained the drink situation, Dr Wilson has me on some medication I can't drink while I am on those plus I'm waiting on my test results coming back" Felicity explained

"Your right, I'm sorry, I don't know what I was thinking, maybe with everything that's happened lately" I said

"Kieran, I am happy here with you, I have no intention of ever leaving you, you bring me so much happiness" Felicity said

We managed to settle things between us and decided to head outside for some air. It wasn't too cold outside. As we walked out, we passed guests from the party. People had already been outside, were heading back inside. Once outside, I noticed Oliver was also outside with Bradley. I would say they were having a heated argument but it was more like an actual argument, they were both raising their voices and for some reason Bradley had a worried look on his face.

"What's going on over there ?" Felicity asked looking over

"I don't now but I'm going over to find out" I answered

I walked over to Bradley and Oliver with Felicity. Once Bradley caught sight of us heading their way, he whispered something to Oliver which made Oliver look in our direction.

"What's going on here ?" I asked as I eyed them both suspiciously

"It's nothing" Bradley rushed out

"Doesn't look like nothing" I said sternly

It was quiet for a few seconds. Bradley hardly looked at me, he kept his eyes on the ground.

"Tell me" I said

"Alpha, please not here or now" Bradley pleaded

"I can't not tell him, especially when it concerns him" Oliver said

"Okay now you really have me intrigued, please do tell" I said keeping my gaze on them both

"It's Jamie, he's made a request ahead of his trial" Oliver explained

"Which is ?" I asked as I felt anger begin to build inside of me

"He's requested a meeting with you" Oliver said as he looked at me.....
