"Kieran" I breathed out as I carefully put the rose down on the table before walking over to Kieran. He was still down on one knee, holding the small box out to me.

I kneeled down in front of him and gently placed my hands on his, I looked at the ring before moving my gaze to his.

"Yes" I smiled looking into his beautiful brown eyes.

"Yes as in yes you'll marry me ?" Kieran asked

"Yes times infinity" I smiled

Kieran pulled me into him gently before kissing me, his kiss was full of love and passion. We broke apart and Kieran took the ring out of the box. The ring was silver, crossover with small diamonds on each side, a small round diamond in the middle on the inside of the band of the ring there was an engraving which said Forever & Always.

I smiled as Kieran carefully placed the ring on the forth finger on my left hand. Once the ring was on my finger, Kieran kissed me again before lifting me up and spinning me around. He was so happy, his whole face just lit up.

"He's perfect for us, he will protect us" I heard my wolf's voice in my head whisper to me

"What's wrong ?" Kieran asked

"Nothing, I just heard my wolf whisper to me" I smiled

"What does your wolf think of us ?" Kieran asked

"She thinks your perfect" I smiled

"Do you wanna stay out here and crack open the bubbly or head inside ?" Kieran asked wiggling his eye brows at the second suggestion

"Let's keep the bubbly for tomorrow, we can share our news with everyone" I smiled

"I like your thinking" Kieran said in a teasing voice

Kieran picked me up bridal style and ran towards the house with me, once inside the house, he proceeded to carry me up to our now shared room. Kieran put me down while he closed the door, took off his blazer and his shoes. I took my shoes off, my jewellery off except my new ring, undone my hair which was done up. Before I knew it, Kieran was behind me, unzipping my dress. I turned around and we connected our lips. The rest of the night was filled with love and passion between us.

I woke up the next morning and watched Kieran as he slept peacefully next to me. I was so happy right now in this moment in time.

"It's rude to stare you know" Kieran said, his eyes still closed

"Is it really staring if I'm just admiring the view ?" I asked teasingly

"Would the view be in here, in this very room or outside ?" Kieran asked

I remembered back to the last time he had caught me staring at him and I made up some lame excuse of what I was looking at, of course it was him and we both knew it.

"It's inside this room" I smiled

Kieran pulled me into him, holding me securely in his arms before he placed his lips on mine in a sweet kiss.

"Shall we tell everyone our news today ?" Kieran asked

"Yes, but I wasn't planning on moving from here today" I laughed

"Now there is an idea, we could always just lock the door, leave a message with the others and hide away up here" Kieran suggested

"Knowing you, being the Alpha you are, you would do that" I joked

"I don't know it would be nice if we spent some time together" Kieran said

"Well we will, now we have the rest of our lives together" I pointed out

"Yeah" Kieran said but he wasn't so optimistic this time

"What's wrong ?" I asked

"It's just...it's silly" Kieran said, he looked almost like he was in pain as he spoke

"Tell me please" I begged

"My parents thought they had the rest of their lives together and look what happened there" Kieran said

This knocked me for six. I knew he loved his parents and they had been killed but that was about it.

"You must miss them so much" I said as I gently caressed his face

"I do, I thought it would get easier but it never did, not until I found you" Kieran replied

"You must hate seeing me with my parents" I said feeling bad

"What ? No. Felicity please don't ever think that, your lucky they are still around for you" Kieran said in a serious tone

"They're here for you too, they already love and adore you" I smiled

"They are sweet, I'm sure my parents would have loved them" Kieran said

"Can I ask you something ?" I asked a little uncertain

"Sure what is it ?" Kieran asked

"What were they like ? Your parents, I'm not trying to pry or anything it's just I only know little things about them" I asked hoping I wasn't treading too much on his painful memories

"My mother's name was Renee and my father's name was Thomas, they were true mates, they knew it as soon as they saw each other, they met young, at school, my father was a great Alpha, everyone in the pack looked up to him, he trained with a lot of the male members, he even took a turn on the night shift patrolling the grounds, my mother was a great listener for anyone who had any problems, they could talk to her, she was also very firm when giving pack orders. They worked so well as Alpha and Luna, they were also best friends. Even other packs loved, adored and admired them" Kieran began to explain

"They sound perfect" I smiled

"They were, my mum was great with me and Sophie, so was dad, he taught me young about being an Alpha, looking out and after all the pack members. He never let me out on the night shift patrol too young but he did let me out during the day with a few other members. Everything was great for us" Kieran said nodding his head as he was in deep thought, going through his memories

It was silent between us for a few minutes before Kieran began to speak again

"And then it happened, that night that they were killed" Kieran added

"If you don't want too, you don't have too" I said

Kieran shook his head before he began to speak again

"It's fine, I would have had to go through this at some point" Kieran said

"I was in my bed, my mum and Sophie were in my room, mum was telling Sophie a story, Sophie was nine at the time, I was fourteen, Sophie always loved mums stories weather they were mums own stories about her and dad or made up ones, she could always tell a good story. Mum had just finished the story she was telling, suddenly there was a lot of noise from outside, screaming, shouting and even howling. Mum left Sophie with me and told me to find somewhere safe to hide. Some of the pack members were looking for my father but no one could find him, we had become under attack from nowhere. My mother left Sophie and I and went out to help the pack fight. No one knew who the attack came from so we just assumed it was a pack of rogues. I hid with Sophie in a secret passage behind my wall, I told her to be quiet so we wouldn't be found. She was scared stiff and shaken up badly. She just kept on asking for mum and I told her that mum would come back" Kieran explained as the tears fell from his eyes.

" Oh my Kieran, I'm so sorry, that must have been so hard for you, you both must have been so scared by everything that was happening" I said as I held him close to me for comfort

"I wanted to go out and help fight but I couldn't leave Sophie on her own, if I had have been braver and just gone to help at least one of my parents may have come back alive" Kieran said

"Kieran no, none of what happened was your fault, your mother left you to look after Sophie because she knew how much Sophie would need you, who better to look after your little sister than you, her big brother" I said

"We stayed hidden until some pack members came looking for us and we were sure it was safe to go out. They told us that a lot of pack members were in the infirmary, some with serious injuries and some with minor injuries. I asked if they found my parents and they just shared a look with each other before looking back at me. One of the female members came and took Sophie away while I stayed in my room with the others. I kept on asking what was going on, eventually they told me, my father had been attacked from behind, unexpectedly, the rogue who attacked him, bit him and clawed at him and left him to bleed out, no one in the pack could get to him in time, they had tried but there was just so many rogues. As for my mother, she had gone out to fight, a rogue had tried to attack her but she fought it off, she chased the rogue into the woods but it was a trap, a few more rogues came out and surrounded her. They killed her" Kieran said as the tears now streamed down his face uncontrollably.

I held Kieran into me, holding his head with one hand and rubbing his back with my other hand. I tried to calm him down. I felt tears prick in my eyes, thinking of how horrifying and terrifying that must have been for him and Sophie both at such small and young ages.

"Kieran, I know you think it was your fault because you didn't go out there and fight but it wasn't your fault, you didn't ask or invite those rogues onto your land, no one knew it was coming, no one could have stopped it from happening" I tried to explain

"I was a coward" Kieran said emotionally

"No you were not, they were the rogues, you are no coward Kieran Templeton, you are a kind, strong, honest man who has taken his dad's training and advice well, you've managed your pack so well, I've seen you out there with them, your stronger and braver than you think" I told him truthfully

We stayed in our room for a bit, Kieran went and washed his face then got dressed, I also got dressed and freshened up. I was sat on the edge of the bottom of the bed admiring my new ring. I still can't believe Kieran proposed to me and that I said yes, no I wasn't having doubts, this still feels like a dream to me.

"Having doubts ?" Kieran asked as he walked out of the en suite bathroom

"No" I said looking at him

"I wouldn't blame you" he responded

"Always and forever" I said seriously as I walked over to him.

"You ready to go and tell everyone ?" Kieran asked

"I am if you are" I smiled

"As long as I have you, I think I can face anything" Kieran said

"Let's promise each other that from now on, we'll face anything and everything together" I said

"I promise" Kieran said without taking a minute to think about what I was asking or what he was saying

We held each other's hand as we walked down the stairs together to join everyone else. Most of the pack were already there as well as my parents and Emily. I noticed Emily made a few new friends in Sophie and Rebecca.

"At last you two" Sophie said agitated and a little bit annoyed

"Sorry sis, please forgive me but I wanted to spend a little extra time this morning with my fiancée" Kieran replied

"Well that's all nice and all but- wait" Sophie said not hearing what Kieran had said to her

"Fiancée?" Sophie questioned

Kieran held my hand up showing the silver ring

Everyone was in shock before they began to cheer. They all got up from their seats before joining Kieran and I. Sophie, Emily, Rebecca and my mother all came over to see my new ring while my dad, Bradley, Josh, Alex, Jacob, Louis and Lucas all came over to congratulate Kieran.

"When did this happen ?" Rebecca asked

"I'm guessing last night, all part of the surprise" Emily said

"Yes it was" I smiled

"Oh my, we need to throw you both an engagement party!" Sophie said excitedly

"Calm down Sophie, we will organize something" Kieran said

"Mr Morgan, I just wanted to thank you for allowing me to ask for your daughter's hand in marriage" I heard Kieran say to my dad

"I'm glad you both found each other, you seem to make each other very happy, I'll be proud to call you my son in law, knowing you'll take care of my daughter is all I can ask for" my dad smiled as he hugged Kieran

"I promise you I will" Kieran told my dad

I looked over to Kieran and smiled as the girls around me kept on talking and making plans for this party idea of Sophie's.
