《Brother of Wind {book 3: Rebooted}》chapter 14

The explosion at the front door left and opening for Pythor, Borg, and a squad of nindroids to enter.
"The transmissions are coming from here." Pythor said. The nindroids came in with a cylindrical tank. In that tank, was the Overlord. He didn't want to be seen so I guess that works too.
"Seize the entire building. This place will play a crucial role to our greater agenda once they return with the Golden Weapons." The Overlord commanded.
"Do it!" Pythor yelled at the nindroids.
"We must go." Wu said.
"But, we have to warn them!" Garmadon said referring to the ninja in space.
"We can't just leave without telling them what else is out there!"
"Grab everything you can!" Wu instructed. The team grabbed the nessesary equipment to communicate with the ninja and Nya had a plan.
"This way." She said guestering to the broken window.
The ninja were steady making their way to the cockpit of the ship, trying to to fall off in the process.
"Were coming in hot!" Kai said as the comet approached. Lloyd's expression turned to immediate fear as his hand slipped.
"Lloyd!" The ninja called as Lloyd started to fall back. Just in time, Jay was able to grab Lloyd's hand with the other ninja grabbing onto each other and forming a chain.
"Hold on!!" Cole yelled.
The ship had entered the atmosphere of the comet and started to find a place to land.
Pythor and a few nindroids made it to the top floor of Borg tower to find the room empty.
"Hmpf! The cowards have fled." He deduced. The other elevator opened and in came the Overlord accompanied by and over taken Cyrus Borg.
"But Arcturus has landed. Prepare the factory. The Golden Master will rise on their return!" The Overlord commanded.
The cylindrical tank opened and purple fog poured out. Out came and entirely black figure with a helmet and armour and a long flowing cosmic cape behind him. The Overlord was rising to power.
Out of the tower, just outside Borg tower on the cleaning platform was Nya, Pixal, Garmadon and Wu holding their equipment.
"He's vulnerable. We must fight him now!" Garmadon implied.
"No, not until we get the ninja home safe." Wu interjected.
"We must get back and contact them."
Cyrus Borg overheard the conversation and made his way to the window.
"We need to find son where we can't be found!" Wu said.
"I know just the place." Garmadon said.
The platformed shook as the group looked up to see a laser being shot at the cord attacking the platform by Borg.
"They found us!" Nya exclaimed. The girl made the mistake of looking down.
"Don't lose this computer components! We need them all!" Nya said. The cord was cut and one side remained. Pixal almost lost the main drive but thankfuly, caught it. Wu spotted a little circular stand.
"Hurry, use our momentum! Together!" Wu said. The second cord was being cut.
"Now!" Wu signaled as the cord broke in half. The team all junoed onto the circular stand but Wu's Juno was short. Just on time, Garmadon caught his brother.
"I've got you, brother!" Garmadon said pulling Wu up. The nindroids started to shoot when Nya got out her fan do deflect.
"Great! Now we'll never get out of here!" Nya exclaimed.
"Leave that to me!" Pixal said as she started to join a link.
"Get them, you imbeciles!" Pythor shouted at the nindroids. A hover craft appeared up to the group to make a getaway. Pixal was able to connect to the tech after all.

"Good thinking! You're still linked to the security forces!" Nya said grabbing computer components and making her way on board.
"Now, let's get out of here." Pixal said taking the pilot seat.
"I hope the city can survive without us." Garmadon said softly.
"So too, the ninja." Wu added.
"I pray."
The rocket had a rough landing on the comet. The ninja had fallen off just a little distance from it. They all slowly got up as some lights on the space suit turned on.
Jay looked at his hands and sighed in relief.
"Ha! We survived!" Jay said imitating a kiss to the ground.
"Well, we deffinetly reached our destination." Morro said as he signaled to the others. They all came to see the crashed ship.
"Nya? Are you there?" Lloyd asked, hoping that the connection was still up.
"Dad?... Wu! Anyone?" Lloyd called.
The ninja exchanged glances of worry. No response.
"Maybe the others didn't make it." Kai said as he started to walk to the ship.
The ninja made their way inside the cockpit of the rocket, but no one was there.
"They're all gone." Zane observed.
"They must have already left for the weapons." Cole suggested.
"Quick! Let's take the ship before they get back!" Jay said running to the main computer.
"Ah... They took the launch key!" Jay exclaimed after finding an empty slot.
"Are you telling me, this entire ship starts up with a simple key?!" Kai yelled.
"Come on, tell me one of you knows how to hot wire this thing." Cole asked.
"Hey guys!" Lloyd poked his head from around the corner.
"Come and see this!"
Lloyd lead the team to a garage with a lunar rover inside.
"They took lunar rovers." Lloyd said pointing to the empty space.
"Looks like they left tracks to follow." He pointed to an open hatch.
"Kind of them to leave us a spare one." Morro said, starting to walk towards it.
Sadly, the small driver's seat had to fit all of the ninia inside and... It was hectic.
"Ugh. Move your gas tank, I can't see!" Jay yelled at Cole.
"Arg-- your blaster is in my rib!" Cole argued.
"That's not my blaster, that's my leg!" Jay shouted.
"Would you guest just shut up?! It's painful enough to be in a land you know nothing about." Morro said pissed.
The ninja reached a cave where the tracks stopped.
"This must he where the golden weapons landed." Kai implied.
They entered to see a bunch of nindroids surrounding a golden and shining ball of metal.
"There's the weapons!" Cole pointed.
"And, there's the key!" Kai pointed to Cryptor who had a lanyard with the key on it.
"Shiny..." One nindroid reached out his hand.
"No, don't!" Cryptor called. As soon as the nindroid touched the metal, he got overwhelmed with the power and just kinda... Disappeared.
"Only the Overlord can withstand the power of all the weapons combined." Cryptor informed.
"No one directly touches it."
"That's unfortunate." Morro said.
"Those are the golden weapons, alright!" Jay whispered.
A little bug-like creature crawled onto Zane's hand.
"Hello there, little friend." Band held his hand up to look.
"Aww, would you look at that!" Jay took the bug.
"Can you believe it? It's an extraterrestrial life form!" He exclaimed.
"I do not like that, no thank you." Morro said taking a step away from Jay.

"Awwww. Come on, Morro! Say hi!" Jay moved the bug closer to the wind ninja.
"Please stop." Morro said.
"Jay, it's a bug. That's not important right now!" Cole whipsper-shouted.
"There's so much we could learn from this little guy!" Jay said letting it climb into his shoulder.
"So much we could teach him. I'm gonna call him Glowy!" Jay smiled.
The bug jumped up from Jay's arm and pulled out some green wings.
"Oh, look! Glowy can fly! How cute!" Jay said as the bug landed on his helmet.
"You must not disturb the alien life--" Sensei Wu's voice came back in thrwoun the communicator.
"They are very d-...dangerous. Can you hear me?" The radio said all chopped up.
"I couldn't make that out, sensei. What did you say?" Kai asked. Morro started to back away from the group, but making sure to remain hidden.
"Jay, can you put that thing down now?" He asked.
"Come on, it's harmless! Morro, I know you don't like it, but you shouldn't try to get rid of it!" Jay said.
Back in Ninjago, the ground team had gone to Garmadon's monastery to try and regain communication.
"The alien life. They're dangerous!" Wu said. Nya held a signal wire up above her head as Pixal trued to amplify the signal.
"A few years ago, scientists studied a meteorite that had fallen to Ninjago." Nya picked up a book.
"It most likely came from the same comet you're on." She said.
"Inside the meteorite, there were the fossilized remains of some kind of parasite that feeds on metal alloys." Nya finished.
A bunch more of the little bugs had come and gathered around the ninja.
"This does not look good." Morro said.
"I didn't know you disliked bugs, Morro." Lloyd said.
"I'm fine with bugs back in Ninjago. Extraterrestrial ones... I'm not too sure about." Morro replied staying a distance from the others.
The bugs started to crawl all over Jay and Zane.
"They tickle!" Zane exclaimed. Jay felt it too and they started to laugh. One reached Zane's face and glowing lime green pincers came out and bit.
"Ow!" Zane exclaimed.
"Do you hear me?! Whatever you do, don't come into contact with the parasites." Nya warned.
"They eat through metal!" Nya exclaimed.
"Agh!" Zane yelled.
"They're eating through my exoskeleton!" He said referring to the ones on his arm.
"BAD GLOWY! BAD!!" Jay yelled.
Stealth? Absolutely a bad plan. It never works out and today is not an exception. The ninja started to get overwhelmed by all the bugs, now known to be parasites, and the cried of struggle filled the cave. The nindroids were informed of their location and the parasite aswell.
To no surprise, when the parasites touched the golden weapons, they disintegrated too.
"The gold must remain intact! Back to the ship!" Cryptor commanded. The nindroids slipped a net under the gold to drag it back. Getting back to the lunar rovers, they pulled the gold out and started to make their exit.
"What do we do? Any ideas, guys?" Zane asked.
"Space?! Why did we come to space?!" Cole yelled.
"If I could change any circumstance, I'd change ever coming here in the first place."
"Morro?" Kai asked.
"What, so suddenly, I'm the ideas guy!" Morro shouted.
"YES!" The ninja all said.
"Argh- come on guys!" Morro exclaimed.
"Oh! Wait! I got one!" Lloyd said. The ninja's attention all turned to Lloyd.
"This is just like the star teeth! Come on!" Lloyd said running out.
. . .
"Ninja!" A nindroid called as he saw behind them, the rover that they were in.
"Get them!" Cryptor ordered. The nindroids started to shoot their blasters at the ninja. Thankfully, they had terrible aim.
"I understand the whole picture!" Lloyd told the others.
"We need to focused on what's positive! Those parasites made a problem for us, we'll make it a problem for them as well!" Lloyd exclaimed. The green parasites were just behind the ninja's rover.
"Attack!" Lloyd yelled to no one in particular.
The bugs charged forwards and started attacking the nindroids, creating a problem for them, too. This cause a lot of the rovers to spin out of control and crash. Four of the nindroids's rovers remained, as long with the gold.
A jump came in the path.
"Go!" Cryptor shouted. The driver was sacred and shook his head.
"What?!" Cryptor immediately kicked the droid out and took the wheel for himself. He stepped on the gas and headed for a small ramp. The rover flipped over, making some of the nindroids fall out leaving only Cryptor and the gold to keep going.
Only two of the nindroid's rovers made it across. Thankfuly, the ninja flipped over and made it safely across. They all cheered in success.
"Now, let's go get that launch key!" Kai exclaimed. Zane opened the hatch and the ninja except Lloyd went out to fight!
"Ninja-go!!" Their spinjitzus carried them over.
"Ice!" Zane exclaimed freezing one nindroid and kicking another off. The ninja fought their way to take control of the lunar rover they were on, using their powers and their battle skills to do so.
"Hello!" Cole smiled as he reached the driver. One second later and the last nindroid was out! Cole and Jay went back to the rover Lloyd had while Zane, Kai and Morro went to the next. The empty rover crashing.
"Ninja-go!" Kai and Morro did a team attack taking out the car as Zane went to the last one.
The rover hit a bumb and Zane and his opponent flew up. Zane started with a kick the his side, then a punch in the chest, and uppercut making the nindroid off guard. Zane pulled him by his feet and used him as a bounce board, turning around and freezing the rover. For the final attack, Zane drove the nindroid right into the gold.
Zane just grabbed the net around it so he didn't perish as well. He fell off but made it back to the others safely.
"Just us and him." Morro stated.
"Well, it's time to retrieve!" Kai shouted.
"You can keep your gold!" Kai smirked as he yanked the key from Cryptor's hold.
"I got it! Let's get outtakes here!" He shouted.
"Ninja-go!!" Kai yelled as he made his way back to his friends.
Cryptor ran into the cliff side and flipped over, the ninja speeding ahead.
"We're home free!" Jay exclaimed. The rover came to a stop.
The ninja gasped.
"The rocket... It's..." Lloyd started at the sight.
"Destroyed."
The parasites had reached the metal rocked and tore it apart.
"Then how are we gonna get home?" Jay asked.
"There's no way back." Cole said.
"You're not the only ones who can adapt!" Cryptor shouted. The ninja turned their heads.
Four nindroids stood by the general holding the net and the gold. Little boosters fired up from their feet.
"So long, ninja!"
"No!" Lloyd said.
"That's it." Morro added.
"They got away. We failed. I repeat, the got the golden weapons." Kai said through the communicator.
"Are you on the rocket?" Nya asked.
"Can you stop them?"
"What rocket?" Morro asked.
"The ship's all destroyed." Kai added.
"We're not coming home..."
The challenge of hope is to overcome corruption.

Good Guy Necromancer
Necromancers are murderous, repulsive, utterly ungodly creatures. And then there's Jerry. Jerry is a novice necromancer who treats his undead warmly, seeks to befriend people instead of harvest their bodies, and doesn't mind cracking a skull or two when needed. He genuinely is a good guy—too bad nobody believes him. Jerry tries to settle down, wanting nothing but a peaceful life for him and his undead—and, when that doesn't quite work out, he sets out to adventure. He will make friends, each unique in their own way, and together, they will travel through a variety of striking environments; from a tiny village, to the land of the dead, to a jolly archipelago, to a kingdom on a beanstalk. To save a world that shuns him, Jerry must stand against a large organization of arrogant, mighty wizards. He strives to become stronger while maintaining his kindness, only to realize that, maybe, gentle hearts make the greatest necromancers. This is the story of a delightful man in a harsh world—full of warmth, action, and wise-cracking bone puns. Chapters are usually 2-3k words, and updates are 3/week: Mon, Wed, Fri. If you're looking for another fun, action-packed adventure, check out Cultivator vs. System by yours truly, available on Kindle, KU, and Audible. But read Good Guy Necromancer first.

8 188The Adventurer's Guild(master)
In a world of adventure, magic, and kingdoms, only one man can keep it all from falling apart. As much as he wished that wasn't the case. This is the story of the man who became the guild master of the most prestigious adventurer's guild in the kingdom, and then came to completely regret that decision, as he is forced to keep the peace, file paperwork, and babysit adventurers. The life of a guild master is not as great as it once seemed. Note: The prologue is an extended -probably should have not took it that far- joke and is completely skippable from the rest of the series. This is my first work on this website, or on any website to be honest, so criticism is more than welcome. Feel free to leave comments on any chapter, not just the latest one.
8 129Pocket Dungeon Lite
Based on the Pocket Dungeon original novel made by Stuckin (I asked for his permission beforehand). I do not know if this could count as a fanfiction as I made up many elements on the go so, for now, I will list this as an original but if Stuckin-sama would like me to change it I will be fine with doing so. This is somewhat of a self-insert but I made sure not to make the MC to OP. Also, the creator of the cover is Vurguy I tried to contact him to ask for permission but couldn't due to technical issues please go support him on Deviant Art and I don't own the picture so if he wants me to take it down than I am completely okay with doing so. As I am an improving author, I am glad to receive any constructive criticism or critical review I just hope that everyone will give me a chance before they yell at me for something or at least tell me what made them angry so I know what the issue is and can figure out how to deal with it. For now, my schedule is 1-2 chapters a week and if I am busy with either work or school 1-3 chapters every 2 weeks. I expect a bunch of chapters at the beginning around 5 or so and for me to continue from there. I will try my best to keep some chapters in storage for any time where I can't write for whatever reason. I will continue to change this part of the synopsis if anything changes in my update schedule. - From a thoughtful Author Pocket Dungeon is a widespread interstellar game that has captivated the attention of many races and civilizations. Nowadays in the 2300s anyone not living under a rock would grow up with a dungeon and learn to manage it over time as they make mistakes along the way. But as all things go there is always an exception and this exception can be found in Nadezhda Ledopad who had an overprotective family that didn't let him interact with anything but those they deemed worthy and safe. This overprotectiveness caused them to forbid him from gaining a pocket dungeon as they knew with his intelligence and specialties in certain fields he would become a strong dungeon master, quickly. This was something his family was very much against as they knew that his competitiveness and duty to maintain the Ledopad family's reputation would push him to win in the competitions that he would inevitably get invited too. This all changed when Nadezh graduated high school and moved to the Celestial Plane capital star as a Prodigal student in planetary conservation (major) and revival of species through DNA transferal (minor). His brother in all but blood Tet schemed to get him into Pocket Dungeons when they got there as no one would keep Nadezh from playing. Nadezh excited to join his peers in this famous game looked forward to doing so. But with this one decision, many futures changed and the Fates laughed as people of strong destinies meet together on this plane. Warning - This will probably contain LGBT+ relationships. You have been warned, I will not tolerate stupidity to the ninth degree in the comment section and I hope that people can be logical enough to GO AWAY if they don't like this kind of thing. If you don't feel comfortable with mature or explicit scenes I will put a warning in the chapters or parts with such and I just wanted all of you to know that this will be a long novel as with most novel I will write in the future so don't expect a deep romantic relationship anytime soon.
