《Adopted by My Chemical Romance》6

We arrived at the mall about a half an hour later. I looked out the window and stared in awe.
" This is the mall? " I asked. It was HUGE. About 6 floors on it. They said it was actually one of the medium sized malls in the area. Hard to believe that. We got out of the car and entered the giant building. They asked me where I wanted to go first but I had no idea, so I told them I'm fine with wherever they wanted to go. Gerard said we should go pick up my shampoo and stuff like that. Ray and Mikey went to go search for a music store on the second floor. Gerard and I went into this small store for my things. I looked around and I picked out two shampoo bottles and two conditioner bottles. I found Gerard looking at the array of hair dyes. I laughed.
"Do People look at you weird when you do this?" I asked, laughing. He turned to me, smiling.
"Eh, sometimes." He laughed, placing the box of hair dye back on the counter. I mean, I've wanted to dye my hair a different color for a while. I'll ask one day, maybe. We exited the shop and Gerard handed me my bag.
"Where to next?" He asked. I had no idea where I wanted to go. I have never been to a mall, especially one this big. I just shrugged.
"How about we go pick out new clothes? Can't wear these all the time." he pointed to my ripped up skinny jeans. I nodded. I had five t-shirts, my old bomber jacket and three pairs of jeans. I walked up to the second floor with Gerard. We looked around for a clothing store or something along the lines of it. We ended up going to Hot Topic. Going in to Hot Topic was going to be a nightmare for Gerard. There's always that one crazy MCR fan that goes over the top. We walked in, I started looking for a few shirts and jeans and I fit in with the crowd pretty well. Gerard laid low, keeping his face a bit hidden. I started walking over to the small rack of pants when I bumped into some guy. I grasped my bags so they didn't fall.

"Oh sorry." He said, holding onto my bags and trying to make the situation better. I smiled back, going along with it.
"It's okay." I replied. He looked down at my shirt, it was apparent he liked it. I happened to be wearing one of my old Panic! At The Disco shirts.
"Your shirt's cool." He said, pointing at the Panic! logo. I smiled
"Thanks." I replied. This started to get awkward. I was waiting for him to do something else. He put his hand out.
"I'm Jesse by the way." He said. His hand was still out.
"Adie." I replied, reaching my hand out and shaking it. We kind of stared at each other for a second.
"Well, see you around I guess." He said awkwardly and smiled. I smiled back and he walked to the front of the store and started browsing. I finally refocused and picked out new jeans, two really nice black sweaters, a Fall Out Boy shirt, and well, three My Chemical Romance shirts. I couldn't help myself. I made my way to the counter and I felt someone staring at me. I turned my head as the girl behind the counter scanned my items. Gerard was hunched over behind a clothing rack. He mouthed " Hurry Up. " I laughed at his hiding skills and paid for my things. I walked over to Gerard who slowly walked out from behind the rack.
"Thank God. We can leave now." he said laughing. I understand his somewhat dislike for Hot Topic if he kept having to do this. Before we left the store, Jesse waved a small goodbye. I wonder if I'll ever see him again.

Pillars Between Us
It started with the dent left by the Forest Sprite; A small crack in the ice that encased his memories. Curtis knew that something was off, realizing that he wasn’t who he thought he was and— perhaps Ellis wasn’t the one meant for him. --It's a fantasy novel set in a world where people inhabit on pillars-- (think of m*necaft sky block, you'll get what I mean) -- then give it a hint of action, mystery and (twisted) romance-- and it's influenced by Japanese fantasy light novels (cuz I read a lot of em'). But I'm sure it's a weird one cuz the style of writing isn't the Japanese to English translated kind of style but rather the orthodox English novel kind of writing (which includes a bunch of errors and broken English thanks to me!). In any case, if you're up for it, just beware the story starts out pretty slow.. I mean-- back then, I was still inexperienced ok! I'm gettin' better along the way, Hmmph!

The Crisis on Planet 9
Welcome to the dream colony Planet 9, where the streets are stained by blood and the buildings are filled with human remains. The creatures roaming among the abandoned cars and flying vehicles resemble almost to perfection the mindless cannibalistic zombies born from the fictional nightmares of mankind. The cities were built in the retro style of the 21st century, but the technology of the 24th century is ever present, mostly within the bodies of those mortally challenged monstrosities. After all, what turned them into these things was not an evolved organic virus, an alien disease, or some sort of magical artifact, it was the corrupted and reprogrammed nanobots within their bodies. Originally, they were meant to heal them and help them access the tech around them, but now they were the origin of this disaster. Among the rotting dead and the Nano-Z, as the survivors called them, Kardian Pandora awakens two months after getting bit by one of them. A young teacher at the local Resonance High, foolish and naive in his own way, but now driven by the Sapient AI in the nanobots inside his body to hunt down other Nano-Z and learn how to survive. For now, his only goal is to become strong enough and rejoin his students and fellow colleagues, foolishly hoping to somehow be able to get back to the time when the undead did not rule the streets. Will Kardian be able to survive in this new savage world or will his naive outlook lead him to a dead end? Volume 1 can be bought on Amazon: Resonance High
