I've been around for a whole month now. It's nearing the end of November, and I want to go to school. Even though I haven't been to school since fourth grade, I need to pick up where I left off. I would have to convince Gerard and Lyn-Z, they obviously won't let me go without saying anything. I exited my room, I heard them both in the living room. I slowly walked down the stairs. Lyn-Z looked up at me and smiled.

"Adie! Are you hungry? Do you need anything?"

She asked. Gerard looked up at me, now knowing I was present in the room. I took a deep breath, walking towards them.

"Actually, I need to talk to you guys about something." I told them, walking over to the couch beside theirs and sitting in it.

"Yes, you're adopted." Gerard joked, smiling. I laughed back, but then the room went silent.

"I wanted to ask if..... I could go to school."

I said timidly. They both stared at me for a minuted, Gerard leaned forward.

"Are you sure? It would be A LOT of catching up." He said looking at me with a serious face, which I never saw on him.

"Better to start now than wait until I'm a senior." I said, Lyn-Z looked impressed by my statement. I was right, it is better to pick up my education now. Gerard and Lyn-Z looked at each other, looking like they were having a telepathic conversation. They both looked back at me.

"Okay." They both said. It took a bit to process what had just happened. I was actually going back to school. I plastered a huge smile on my face. They smiled back. Gerard stood from the sofa and grabbed his keys.

"You'll be going to Greenwood, It's the the nearest school around so it'll be convenient. I'll go to the school and fill out a form." He said, hugging me and Lyn-Z goodbye and heading out the door. I was ACTUALLY going to school!
