I parked my black BMW outside Danny's house and sat back as I let out a sigh. I had been blunt with Annabelle lately when I hadn't meant it but it was because I had been confused lately. In my mind she was one of my closest friends, I mean for God sakes she was my best friend's sister but I didn't know what she was doing to me. Just her being in the room caused me to feel happy yet nervous. When I found out that she had been crushing on Rhydian I had felt angry. I couldn't even understand why. I knew he was a player and that he used girls but although I would never have let him and her happen I just couldn't bear the thought of 'them' together. Shit. I closed my eyes as my head was leaning back on the seat. I had to get her out my head.

I got out my car and locked it placing them deep in my back pocket in my jeans. I ran my fingers through my wild hair once more and walked slowly to their front door. I knocked on the door once, then placed my hands in my pockets. Danny opened the door and with a massive grin said, "bro". We bumped our fists together and wrapped one arm around each other whilst using the other to tuck each other in at the front. He smacked me on the back and we released from each other. As i walked in I heard jumping coming from upstairs and looked up. "Bella", Danny said quietly rolling his eyes. I looked at him with a look of confusion as he spoke once again, "she's been up there for the best of an hour and a half". I laughed to myself, this girl really knew how to keep a guy waiting.

I heard a slam come from upstairs suggesting that Annabelle was coming down. I had been blunt with her lately and worried she would be off with me. I shook my head - I had to get her off my mind. "You alright bro?" I heard from the side of me, I nodded casually trying to seem cool. Tonight I would get her off my mind and all would go back to normal.

"I'm ready" called out a gentle voice behind me. I turned to face Annabelle and I had to use so much effort not to drop my jaw to the ground. She looked stunning. The black dress she was wearing was slimming and tight, yet its silky fabric get her a sense of sexual deviance. I felt my chest go tight and took a deep breath. Danny let out a little chuckle and spoke, "What took you so long?". Annabelle gave him a sarcastic laugh and then looked directly at me. All I could do was stare at her and felt a small smirk forming at the corner of my mouth but I fought it off. "It's too much isn't it" said her gentle yet enticing voice. I shook my head slowly at her, keeping my view on her and said without even thinking, "Annabelle you look beautiful". Her cheeks flushed a light rose colour that made her look even more beautiful.

Was it wrong to think her blushing turned me on? It was sweet yet seductive just like her. I had to focus my mind, I don't know where these feelings were coming from but they needed to disappear. I looked over at Danny who was engulfed in his phone and probably texting Gwen. He was my best friend and she was his sister. I couldn't. I shouldn't. I wouldn't. Don't get involved Carter I said to myself, she'll only bring trouble. That was the problem though wasn't it - what if I wanted trouble? What if I wanted her?
