Shota looked around at his growing home. Hizashi had cut his hair back to its shaggy form from when they were kids. Shota really didn't like that, he loved Hizashi's hair. Hitoshi running around making plane noises, his purple hair, stuck up and pointy. He was 7 now... Time flies in this family... He laughed. Shota still looked the same, long hair with small grey streaks, ebony eyes, the scar below his eye, the scars on his wrists...
It was warmer outside, the new house they bought had a beautiful backyard making Shota actually get out more, his skin was a light brown from tanning. Hizashi joked around saying "he's glad the ghost is gone" Shota returned the remark "glad the hippy is gone." They sat under the tree laughing. Hitoshi looking at them, confused.
•Now•
Hizashi looked out the window, Shota and Hitoshi were wrestling. Shota won of course, Hitoshi was laughing as Shota tickled him. Hizashi smiled. He ran a hand through his short hair, Yua laid on the windowsill, in her old age this is all she does, stare outside, at birds or just anything.
Shota came inside, carrying Hitoshi. His face streaked with tears and grass stains. "Bath Hitoshi, you're covered in dirt," he looked at Shota, who had grass clippings in his hair, and dirt stained pants. He a dirt stained face. "Shota, you too." Shota huffed and grumble but listened. Hizashi smiled a stupid grin.
Shota gave Hitoshi a towel "hey, keep it a secret but you can have a bubble bath, don't tell your father." Shota ruffled Hitoshi's hair, his bleak eyes sparkled. "2 caps or you'll floor the place with bubble-" Hitoshi dashed to his bathroom before he could finish his sentence. Shota just laughed and went to his bathroom.

Hizashi sat on the couch with a notepad, he wrote small things down, like poems or little stories, some he read to Hitoshi. He tapped on the notebook then thought about something he called it "The Raven and The Cockatoo"
shouldn't.
something
Hizashi put the notepad down, he stretched and got up. His back cracked a little, but he was alright. He made his way to the kitchen and started to cook lunch. He had been attending cooking classes, Shota requested it a lot. Hizashi got better, but not well, at cooking. He laughed at how easy it was sometimes.
•30 minutes later•
Shota came out of the bathroom, his wet hair in a ponytail, black sweatpants and Hizashi's Kiss shirt, the same one he wore when they started to date. "Zashi you still have this shirt?" Shota asked as he walks through the living room and into the kitchen "Why would I throw it away? Still fits. Although it fits you like a glove." Hizashi admired the figure in front of him, his cheeks turned a little pink "Quit your drooling." Shota laughed "Now I can't look at you?" Hizashi faked a swoon "Oh! however shall I live! My love rejects me, my heart shattering." He sticks his tonuge out and pretends he's dead. "You've been writing, haven't you?" Shota smiled "What gave it away?" Hizashi laughed as he places the meal in the middle of the table.
"Can I read it?"
"Whatever, Mr. Nosey."
Shota picked up the notebook from the coffee table. After a few minutes, both him and Hitoshi walk into the kitchen. "Its about us isn't it, I'm the raven and you're the cockatoo?" Shota put Hitoshi in a chair and pushed him in.
"Yea, I used us as a subject to write about, what did you think?"
"That you should be an author"
Hizashi blushed quickly "I don't know Shota. Thats a lot of work, and I only write when I'm bored, you know this."
"I know babe, but you're a really good writer." Shota mumbled and scratched his neck. Hizashi sat down after getting the food for Hitoshi and began to eat. Flattered by what Shota said, he decide to put some thought intuo it. Maybe he'll be and author or not, it's his choice after all.
