《Forced: Kidnapped by a Vampire Master (Book One)》Chapter 28

I lost track of how long I've been down here. Alex put me in the basement and just left me. I haven't seen anyone except one person for . . . I can only imagine days. I get two meals a day, and that's it.
I could hear footsteps, and then suddenly the same slave that has been bringing me food appeared.
"Today is tomato soup." That was all they said before they left and once again, I was alone.
Kane's POV
Sitting around a dinner table, how very 'American Family' of us. I didn't see the point in this. Alex didn't want me around . . . well . . . he didn't want anyone around. Parker missed Rose, and my other siblings were in their own little world.
"I'm hungry." I looked up at my little sister as she stared at Alex. He didn't even acknowledge her. "Alexander, I'm hungry." Again nothing.
"I'll take you for food Parks." I finally spoke up. What an ass. His eyes shot to me. I just shook my head at him. How pathetic. Standing up, I walked around to Parker and picked her up. Half expecting Alex to stop us, but he didn't.
"What's wrong with Alex, Kane?"
"I don't know kiddo." I lied. I knew full well what his problem was, It's not my fault he's a child who doesn't appreciate what he has, he locks it away to suffer until he wants to play again.
I wandered the house again and again and again and I couldn't find her scent anywhere! It was so annoying, what is his problem!
"You are my problem Kane!" I turned and there he stood.
"Your problem is the fact that you've finally realized if you treat someone like they mean nothing they're eventually gonna leave you and find someone else."

He huffed.
"Oh, and you're that someone else?" I grinned.
"Yeah maybe."
"Get over yourself. You will never be with her, She doesn't want you." I walked over to hum, fist clenched.
"This might your house Alex but I'll still kick your ass!" I pushed him, but just as quickly as he went down he was back up again and in an instant, he fist connects with my jaw.
"Big mistake!" My anger boiled over and I went for him, grabbing hold of his throat and threw him across the room until his back crashed into the brick wall. His hands gripped hold of my wrist and he started to twist, eventually the pain was too much even for me to bare and I let go. His eyes flashed red and the real Alex came to the surface . . .
Parker's POV
I wandered down the stairs to see what was going on. I was awakened by the sounds of banging and crashing downstairs. I called out for Fang but he didn't come, I decided to go and see what was happening.
As I rounded the corner, there they were. Alex, Kane, Fang, and Desmond, all fighting and hurting each other. I didn't know what to do.
Then suddenly, Kane was on the floor and Alex was hurting him . . . hitting him in the face, over and over.
"ALEX, STOP!" I screamed but he didn't listen. Kane wasn't moving . . . was he sleeping . . . what was wrong . . .
Desmond and Fang were trying to pull Alex away but nothing was working, he wouldn't stop!
"Alex . . . please, stop this at once!"
"ALEXANDER TAVISH, GET OFF YOUR BROTHER THIS INSTANT!" We all turned . . . no, it couldn't be . . .
It was!

The Apocalypse Show - Dungeon Core
There were lot's of ways that people had predicted that the world would end. A few even had it partially correct. But how could they have predicted it would be a combination of the system apocalypse and aliens. Specifially aliens that wanted to create the equivlant of a TV show about the system apocalypse on Earth. Arthur woke up with a headache and the option to create a character. Most people would have gone with the safe choice and selected to stay a human. Arthur suspected that wouldn't be the safe choice in his new world. Instead he decided to see what other races were available. Eventually he decided to become a dungeon core instead. Of course being a dungeon core comes with a number of challenges. Starting with the fact that he was a giant crystal instead of having a body, managing a bunch of unintelligent minons, and most importantly the reaction of his human neighbors when they discover him. If he can overcome these challenges he may be able to enjoy some of the benefits. Such as the fact that dungeon cores are immortal and he would eventually have an entire army of dungeon minions that would obey any of his commands. Perhaps even find some female companions that are looking for a safe place during the apocalypse. Warning: If this fiction was a movie I'd rate it R for occasional scenes of violence, gore, nudity, and sexual content. This isn't something you would find in the young adult section. This does not mean that this would be rated NC-17 or X, if that is what you are looking for try lewd dungeon.
