《PRINCESS ANARCHY | Dream SMP》04. Different People With Connected Souls

Sara exclaims as she and Nia enter her house. "What the fuck is that supposed to mean?"
In a way, Nia does understand why Sara's reacting the way she is. Dream gave Nia a crash course of the most important things that have happened on the SMP prior to her reappearance.
It is . . . a lot. And she understands that there are sides now, but just because she's supposed to be a part of a trio that she knows nothing about, she's not going to abandon her friends for them.
Namely Dream, who does not have the best relations with L'Manburgians or Eret, who betrayed them, apparently, and is also the king of the SMP.
The Trix are three completely different people with different personalities, beliefs and goals. Just because right now, Sara seems to be interested in the restoration of L'Manburg - which is currently called Manburg - Nia doesn't need to care about it.
Not that she ever could.
Nia has abandoned the idea of countries and kingdoms years ago. She believes in the freedom to do whatever she wants without anybody having a bigger authority than her.
She's been there and done it. And she never wants to go through it again. Because even if you're seemingly in the position of power, the person above you is still allowed to do whatever they want to you.
Everybody should be equal.
Nobody should have the ability to tell you what you can, can't, should, shouldn't, must or mustn't do. Nobody should have the ability to decide your future for you.
Just because others making decisions for you might be easier, it doesn't make it right. And you shouldn't let that fool you.
Easier is not always better.
"It means that Dream is my friend," Nia says obviously, watching the frustrated expression across Sara's face.
Running a hand through her hair, Sara turns her back on Nia with a sigh.
"How is he your friend? You just met him."
"That's not true," the princess claims.
Sara spins on her heel instantaneously, staring at Nia with a raised eyebrow.

"I used to live in the SMP." Nia purses her lips, shrugging. "About three years ago, when there weren't any countries or wars. Just the basic SMP. Dream, George and Sapnap were just three guys who were trying to start a peaceful community for everyone."
"They're way past that, you know that, right? George is literally working for Schlatt - the president of Manburg."
"And you went to war with Dream because of L'Manburg, I've heard. He told me before you found us and dragged me away." Nia shrugs. "He told me you used to date George before Wilbur Soot came to the SMP and decided to form L'Manburg."
"Well . . ." Sara starts, looking down at her hands. "I- you can see our beliefs and goals no longer align."
"He's now part of a country that you guys want to bring down."
"No, not bring down. Just take back."
"But Schlatt was democratically elected, was he not?"
"Yes, but he's destroying everything that L'Manburg is supposed to stand for. He changed our name, took down our walls and even changed our flag. It's not even L'Manburg anymore."
"Obviously. He renamed it to Manburg."
Sara gives Nia an annoyed look.
Nia is clearly pushing buttons she shouldn't, but she can't help herself. There is nothing that could possibly make her want to care about a country with a ruler.
"You know, Stela doesn't care about this either. But at least she's trying to be nice about it."
Nia chuckles. "I have no reason to be. I literally just met you. The people I do know, I'm pretty sure want to destroy what remains of L'Manburg completely." Shrugging, she looks Sara in the eye. "And to be honest, I agree with them."
"What the fuck?"
"Look, Sara, I can help you take down Schlatt. No problem. But I won't ever be a part of the country. That's not what I stand for. But I don't think that's a problem for you, since you have Technoblade on your side."

"What are you talking about? Technoblade is here to help us reclaim L'Manburg."
Nia purses her lips, nodding. "Is that what he said?"
"Well . . . not exactly . . ."
"You asked an anarchist to help you reclaim a country where you're going to put a president in place of Schlatt, who won the elections fair and square. How long do you think you'll have until he starts acting on what he believes in?"
"He wouldn't. He's our friend." Sara shakes her head dismissively.
"Okay," Nia smiles.
Sara seems to believe that L'Manburg has a chance. Which is admirable, but really, so far it seems that the current president, Schlatt, is doing everything in his power to get rid of what it was. So, how much of L'Manburg will be left if they do manage to get it back?
And what will they do when Technoblade inevitably switches and tries to entirely destroy the country?
Sara raises an eyebrow at Nia suspiciously. The princess shrugs innocently.
"If you truly believe that Technoblade is on your side and his only goal is to help you get back L'Manburg, then I won't try to change your mind. That is on you."
"Are you two done?" Stela asks, coming inside the room with a bored expression. She has been listening to the conversation this entire time, sorting through items in chests upstairs.
"Pretty much." Nia nods. "Could I get bandages for my hand, please?"
Stela nods, walking over to a cabinet where they store their first aid kit, and hands it over to Nia.
"Do you want help?"
"I'm fine."
"Okay."
"Even as the Trix, we're just three completely different people, aren't we?" Sara asks, thinking about how neither Nia and Stela care about Manburg, and how the only reason they're here is probably because Sara is.
"We don't even know how we work, so yeah. We're just three different people with connected souls," says Stela, the hunger for more knowledge about this part of her life obvious in her voice. "But it also makes sense, because, after all, I represent the End, you represent the Nether and Nia's left with the Overworld. Three completely different dimensions . . . Even our powers are different."
"Wait," Nia speaks up, taking the bandages off her hand. She had it treated after her fight with Technoblade. "What powers?"
"Well, I can teleport, which you could probably notice," says Stela, shrugging. "And I can throw dragon fireballs."
"I'm fire resistant, throw fireballs and put things on fire with a touch," Sara adds.
"What can I do?" Nia asks with a raised brow.
"No fucking clue, dude. It took me months to figure out the dragon fireballs. And it was an accident, too."
"Oh, yeah. Dream jump scared her and she teleported and threw a fireball at him."
"Sara just accidentally put an entire forest on fire." Stela laughs. "Technically, she also did that twice if you count the time she appeared on the SMP."
"I fell out of the sky, that's just uncalled for."
"Well, it's not my fault that you're a literal supernova in human form."
"Now I'm scared of what my powers could be," Nia comments, shaking her head.
She looks at her hand to bandage it anew, only to find out that her palm is no longer injured. Staring at it, Nia runs her fingers across the spots where her cuts were from when she pushed the blade of a sword away from her.
"You're human, aren't you?"
"Yeah," Nia replies, unable to stop staring at her perfectly healed hand. "Is it possible that one of my powers is regeneration?" she asks.
"I mean, could be," Sara affirms.
Nia raises her hand, showing it to the two women in the room.
"Well, then I think it's one of my powers."
"Dude."

The Morgulon
Greg never really wanted to become a werewolf hunter. He just wanted to prove to his father that he could do the job his family was famous for, maybe earn some money while he’s at it. He certainly never wanted to become a werewolf, or run away from home, or fight the inquisition. Unfortunately, as his brothers would say, fate has a shitty sense of humour. Updates on Mondays. "I feel like this story perfectly represents how you can't judge a book by its cover (or, in this case, concept). Edgy badboy werewolf teen romance? Yeet that concept out the window and get ready for an action-packed fantasy with an incredibly built world and logical, realistic characters." "This is a great story, probably better than any werewolf novel I've read. It's certainly not a typical werewolf story (but don't let that stop you from reading it, the werewolves are still amazing.)" "A werewolf story where people aren't constantly meeting gruesome ends that still maintains a gritty atmosphere. Realistic worldbuilding and character design make this a must read!" - RR reviews The first chapter is also on DeviantArt, more may follow.

Re: Dragonize
After an unexpected turn of events, Drew must now survive in a world full of challenges with life-or-death stakes. Gone are the days when the biggest problems to face were awkward small-talk at physics department luncheons or mountains of lab work; this former physicist is now adrift in an unfamiliar land without any equipment. Now, Drew's only tool (if it can be called that) is a System, which provides constant reminders of all of the things that are still out of reach for a low-level being who's just arrived in a new world. Luckily, Drew has one powerful asset when taking on the challenges of this new world: surviving violent conflict is a lot easier when you have the power of a dragon at your disposal. Still, Drew has always considered violence a last resort. Why turn to fists (or claws) when a bit of quiet consideration might expose a better path forward? Maybe a life of quiet contemplation is still within reach for this former academic researcher. ...Or maybe not. It probably won't be a life of bloodless pacifism. Additional information for those who wish to calibrate their expectations (I'm adding this based on a few comments I received from readers who feel that the story is not what they expected from a dragon-themed story): Re: Dragonize is not a power fantasy -- or at least, it's not intended to be one. Re: Dragonize is a progression fantasy starting with a protagonist who must start at the bottom (or close to it), and work gradually upwards, making incremental progress with plenty of setbacks along the way. The protagonist, as someone coming from the world of academia, tends to be cautious, methodical, and contemplative. As such, expect this story to contain more than a few digressions as the main character takes the time to pontificate on a variety of topics ranging from Newtonian physics and horology to the nature of existence and the ethical dilemmas associated with being an obligate carnivore.
