You might have left me now, but I'll see you soon. But until then I'll still shine bright as if you're still here, because without a light what's going to defeat the shadows? I'm not going to go dim, I'll keep shining bright as if you're here, maybe even brighter.

You shared love everywhere you went. I'll do the same. I'll stand straight with my head held up high, I'm choosing to be a light towards people who are broken like me.

Our love is infinite, even if you're not around to tell me. I promise I'll be strong without you. When you left, it left a scar and a broken heart, but God uses broken things and makes them beautiful and strong.

I still miss you, but I promise I won't let this make me go dim. I'll live my life without you by my side but that won't stop me from living life at its fullest.

I'll hold God's hand just like you did, because I trust God

that He's keeping you safe. I'll be strong just like you, because even when you had scars you labeled them beautiful and didn't cover them up with shame. You were brave even when you were absolutely scared. You had a story behind those eyes, a story that could've have easily broke you down, but you didn't let it. You became stronger with each passing chapter.

I'll choose to not let this get the best of me, I'll choose to keep going. Just like you did.
