《My wolf friend- Rannett fanfic(AU)》Chapter 5-The wolf's power

The unlucky one ventured into the forest once again, calling out the name "Wolfie" multiple times, hoping for the recovered wolf to appear in his sight by luck.
Out of a sudden, he saw dark shadows, big and tall ones appearing in front of him. Bennett looked up as fear rose to him. With thick black fur and some disassembled body parts(???), these nasty creatures are called Rifthound wolves who can float around. Knowing that they are present to attack him, the green-eyed boy pulled out his sword, ready to fight them, though outnumbered-there were three rifthound wolves.
After fighting off two of them with formidable slashes from his pyro-infused sword, there was only one remaining that tried to run away, severely injured. Bennett chased after the black-furred wolf who fortunately fell not long after. As the sword-wielding boy approached the wolf that fell, he raised his sword, attempting to kill the wolf.
The adventurer turned his head back expeditiously as he sensed something coming. There, on the spot right behind him, was a Rifthound wolf twice of the severely-injured wolf's size. It had his enhanced claw out, swirling with electro ready to attack the pyro wielder. Bennett's eyes widened as he was rooted to the ground, unsure of what to do.
A powerful force entered the battlefield, causing the white-haired adventurer to flinch and fall back and the wolf to retract its attack on the boy.
Dark purple mists swirled around as the same wolf the green-eyed boy met and spent the night with yesterday. However, its looks changed slightly. The red-eyed wolf's tail now has a gradient of grey to bright purple at the end of its tail and the tip of every fur. The grey-furred wolf's electro symbol was also glowing. Electro power was transferred to its tail as it swing furiously, killing both of the Rifthound wolves.

Shocked yet impressed by this sight, Bennett watched in amazement. As both of the black-furred wolves were killed, the wolf who rescued the boy approached him. As the wolf walked around him, the white-haired boy knew that it was checking if he has any injuries. "I'm alright Wolfie, no injuries!" Bennett said, waving both of his hands, feeling appreciated that the wolf was doing so.
"You did great Wolfie! You're so powerful!" The adventurer said as he kneeled down and patted the wolf

One of these great heroes started off in the most hated profession of the time, Necromancer. Join him and his comrades as they accomplish the first of the Good Necromancers legendary tasks. ***** So, quick update for those who pay attention to this section. I'm finally coming out of finals for this semester, and I plan on getting the whole already posted section revised. It's taken me a while to change the necessary things, as I had to start all the way over, but I've at least got the rough drafts for all the revised chapters. These should be going up within the next week or so, still have to go to work, but I am here, I haven't forgotten or dropped the story. Just trying to make this the best work that I can produce. P.S. I will be releasing additional stories. They are all going to be in the Good Necromancer world, however the others will give you an idea on how humans in other locations survived and have thrived. Or not. =)

The Hunt
Cecily's blade swung, hitting its mark as always. The man's arm fell to the cold grass of the prison with a familiar thud. He let out a blood curdling scream. A warning to the rest. Stay away, the Hunter is here. That's the name they'd given her, the Hunter. After she cut off the man who tried to rape hers masculinity, they stayed away. She'd made it clear anyone who tried to touch her would be hunted and slaughtered. Cecily kneeled down, pushing the man's face into the dirt so she could use his back as a seat while she trifled through his belongings. "You're hurting my ears," she told him, no remorse in her voice. "Quiet down before I really do kill you."The man but his lip, well aware that she wasn't lying. Sobs shook him, making for an uncomfortable seat. She, however, didn't particularly feel the beed to kill him. It happened, not often, but it did. "Oh, hush up," she hissed, taking out a bag of rations with her metal hand, "it doesn't hurt that bad."With her good, human hand, she dropped the plastic bag of food into her own bag. She pushed up, off the man back. As she was about to walk away, bag slung over her shoulder, brushing against her autumn colored braid, she turned back to him. "Consider yourself lucky," she said, no hatred in her voice, there never was. "Consider yourself lucky that you didn't do anything stupid. And even luckier if one of the scum bagged criminals in here feel a little light in their hearts and help you. Consider yourself luckier if you die there."With that, her old black and white Nike sneakers carried her off into the brush of the huge prison.
