《Dipcifica One-Shots { By - Ninja Rainbow }》Lost Part 1

"We're lost aren't we Dipper?" Pacifica asked for what seemed like the 50th time in the past hour.
"No..." Dipper replied. "Maybe..."
"Yes," Pacifica said annoyed at her friend's lack of navigational skill. "You should have let ME carry the map. We might have actually been back by now."
"Oh, like you would've done better."
"Yes, I would have, idiot."
"Excuse me, who's the one who got perfect grades all semester?" Dipper asked. "And who's the one that I helped tutor? And which one is calling the other 'idiot'?"
Pacifica's face went red with anger. "FINE! I'll find the shack myself. Good riddance." With that she stomped away from Dipper, deeper into the woods.
Dipper stood watching her for a moment, thinking about the odds of her surviving much longer than an hour in the woods. He decided they weren't good odds and called out to her, "Pacifica, stop."
"Nope! I'm going to find my back, without YOU!"
"Pacifica, is that time of the month or something?" Dipper asked. "Because you're being ridiculous."
"No, it's not 'that time of the month', I just hate you right now!" She said with mock cheerfulness, still stomping away not looking his direction.
Dipper, seeing she wasn't going to reason with him, ran after her. When he was about 5 feet away she stopped abruptly, about to turn to him, when he tripped tumbling into her making them both tumble down a steep hill. After about 20 seconds of rolling into thorns, roots, rocks and over all getting very scratched up, they landed at the bottom of the hill.
Dipper groaned at the weight on his chest, opening his eyes to find a dazed Pacifica laying across his torso. Too beat up to think too much about it, Dipper laid his head back down in the dirt and passed out

Pacifica finally came back to her senses somewhat and rubbed her head until she realized she was laying across Dipper and a bright pink found it's way to her cheeks, and a small squeak to her mouth. She then checked his pulse, breathing a sigh of relief at the fact that he was just passed out, and a groan thinking about having to carry him.
Pacifica got up and lifted Dipper up a bit before deciding she wouldn't be able to successfully get him back to the shack without severely hurting herself. At least while he was out. So, she walked around trying to see if there was any food or water source she could find for the two of them. After not finding anything she gave up and went back to Dipper who had finally woke up, and by the looks of it, he just recently did so. She ran over and hugged him.
"I'm sorry, I was being stupid. I probably can't navigate these woods without you, I'd get lost in 10 minutes flat," Pacifica said with a light laugh.
"I'm sorry too, I shouldn't have been so mean about the whole tutoring thing," he said, hugging her back.
They got lost in the hug for a minute then realizing they were still hugging they pulled away, both blushing like crazy.
"We should probably find out way home now." Dipper suggested.
"Yeah, let's get going."

Cutting to Life: an NPC LitRPG (Battle Royale)
Nikola is an NPC in The World of Wills, a video game where players can feel sensations as if they were truly there. She leads a life of bloodshed and murder - that is, until one day she wakes up sapient. Just as she begins thinking real, non-scripted thoughts and making connections, she and the players in the game are told that if they die in the game, they die in real life - and it's time to get killing. But what of Nikola, the emerging AI consciousness? How does she win in a game that can only end in her being wiped from existence at the end of it all? - Updates Mondays and Fridays. Cutting to Life is a slow-burn LitRPG with a villainous (later anti-hero, or maybe still villainous, haha) female lead. It's told from the perspective of Nikola, an NPC within the World of Wills who's become sapient and is now mysteriously able to play the game as a PC. It's quite light for a LitRPG, but the system and stats become more of a focus later when Nikola herself can access them. The story gradually builds into a Battle Royale where the players' lives are on the line (if you die in the game, you die in real life), and only one party of savvy adventurers can win. They'll have to spend their time and stats wisely as dungeons promising rare gear float down from the sky - but is a legendary sword worth killing someone for, knowing they'll stay dead forever? - This story is told in third person, past tense.- This is a slow-burn LitRPG that spends a lot of time establishing its setting and characters, because I believe this will make for a better payoff in the end. As such, the Battle Royale doesn't start until chapter 30 or so.- Chapters are anywhere between 800 words and 3000 words long.- Book cover by Vixeona.Cutting to Life is also being posted on SPB and Scribble Hub.Thank you sincerely for reading.
