《Dipcifica One-Shots { By - Ninja Rainbow }》Where Were We?

*The Twins and Pacifica are like mid - late teens. ^_^
The rain pounded against the glass window. As Dipper yawned over his desk, he read the last page of Journal 1, again. He still couldn't figure anything out about the (st least what Mabel insisted was) magical flower Mabel had told him of. He had looked through both Journal 3 and 1 three times normal and three times under the blacklight. Still he found out nothing, but his sick sister had continued to nag him about it, convinced it would help her feel better, so he kept trying. He shut the book and went down to the kitchen to make some coffee (you know cause he's all manly and macho now ;P), after turning on the coffee maker he heard a knock on the door and went to answer it. When he opened the door he saw a blonde with tears streaming down her face in front of him. He ushered her in worried about her and what might have caused her to come crying at his doorstep.
Pacifica had had a horrible day from the start and the most recent event, which was 20 minutes ago now, had broken her. She had run from her home all the way to the Mystery Shack, no stopping, totally soaked from the rain, tears streaming down her face hoping to see Mabel and have some help getting over this terrible day. She reached the shack and knocked on the door, hoping for a bright smile to greet her but instead getting a tired looking Dipper, which was fine by Pacifica at that point. It was the best thing she'd seen all day.
When he noticed who it was and her situation he seemed to wake up a bit and brought her in, telling her to sit down and wait for him before she did anything. A few moments later he brought her a cup of coffee loaded with creamer and a box of tissues. He then sat down beside her with his own cream- filled coffee (so much for macho right?) And asked what was wrong. Pacifica started sobbing and blew into a tissue, laying her head on Dipper's shoulder for comfort. He wrapped his arms around her and placed his head on hers as she cried into his chest.
"Hey, it's okay, you don't have to tell me if you don't want to." He told her.
"No, it's fine," she replied as she pulled away from him sniffling, slightly embarrassed from their position. "I've just had a horrible day."
"You okay with telling me?"
"Well," she started. "I found out my grandma passed away last night, and we won't be able to go to funeral on Saturday. I Also thought my parents were doing better but today it seemed they went right back to going downhill. Their relationship isn't the best right now. Then I found out about Grenda's car accident, then Derek broke up with me over a text message about half an hour ago. A TEXT MESSAGE DIPPER! What guy breaks up with a girl over a text message?!" She said angrily, sitting up and crossing her arms.

"Idiots like Derek," Dipper replied. "I'm sorry you've had such a horrible day Pacifica. Any way I can help out?"
"Actually, I was wondering if I could stay here tonight?" She asked. "Just stay in Mabel's room? Is she here?"
"Yeah, of course you can," Grunkle Stan wasn't home tonight so he didn't need to worry about him getting annoyed. "Though I warn you she is sick."
"I got a strong immune system," she said smiling.
Dipper smiled at his friend. Knowing that she was at least feeling a little better now.
"Want to go to the woods with me?" He asked? It's still light out and I haven't gotten much time out there today.
"Sure," she said, happy to get some fresh air and more time to hang out with Dipper before bed.
Dipper let Pacifica use Mabel's rain boots for outside since it was still muddy from all the rain, and a rain jacket too. Then they set out for the woods. They were about fifteen feet into the woods when Pacifica saw a snake and flung herself at Dipper wrapping her arms around him and letting out a high pitched squeal. Dipper nearly fell over but regained his balance before he did so. They both seemed to notice their positions (I know, I know redundant.) at the same time and quickly pulled away blushing brightly.
"Sorry, you know, snake..." She told him.
"Yeah," he chuckled. "I noticed."
Pacifica shot him a mean look when he laughed and continued into the forest with him by her side. This wasn't her first time in the woods, but she was still rather bad at hiking and continually slipped, and nearly fell about thirty times. They finally reached a hill covered in beautiful flowers. They were everywhere and Dipper thought about the flower Mabel had found and described to him earlier in the year when she had gone alone into the forest. He just stood there realizing that he had found the "magical flower". He looked at Pacifica, a huge grin on his face.
"These are the flowers Mabel wanted!" He stated.
"What?"
"You know, she's sick, she wanted these flowers because she thought they had magical healing properties." He told her. "This is great!" Still a huge smile on his face.
"Well, then let's get to it slow-poke. Let's get some flowers for the alpha twin!"
Dipper rolled his eyes. "I am taller now you know?"
"Yeah, but she's older" She relied with a grin.
Dipper stuck his tongue out at Pacifica and got down on his knees to start picking flowers. She knelt down beside him and started picking flowers too.

"How many do we need?"
"I honestly don't know, we'll get a bunch just in case."
Pacifica nodded her head in agreement and started picking again. Once they were satisfied that they had enough they set off for the shack before it got too dark.
As they were walking back Pacifica laid her head on Dipper's shoulder.
"Thanks for making me feel better Dipper, I'd still be a wreck had it not been for you."
Blushing, Dipper simply put his arm around her shoulders, hoping Mabel wasn't up yet. As they walked through the shack door they separated and Dipper asked Pacifica if she would check the journal for a new set of eyes to check it out. He went to use the bathroom and when he came back she had found something on the flower. How in the world did she find it? He thought to himself. They found it did have magical healing properties and it also strengthened your body a bit. Luckily he didn't need many to make the mix for Mabel, so he would have plenty to simply give her. As they were finishing grinding up the flower and putting it in the hot water for Mabel to drink, she came downstairs looking horrible.
"Hey Dip- wait, why is Paci- OMG ARE YOU GUYS LIKE SECRETLY DATING??? I KNEW IT! I SHIPPED IT! I LOVE IT, OMG!" She yelled excitedly.
Dipper and Pacifica were blushing bright red from their necks to their ears, confused, shocked and uncomfortable.
"Oh, like, are you not?" Mabel asked. "Awkward..." She said with small embarrassed smile.
"I'm going to head to bed now," said Dipper, still blushing like crazy. "Pacifica you got it from here?"
"Yeah, it'll be fine."
With that Dipper left the room to get ready for bed.
Pacifica told Mabel about her day, excluding anything that she might take as romantic between Dipper and herself.
Mabel told her how sorry she was and offered for her to stay the night.
"Dipper already said I could," she said, blushing again, lightly this time, at the mention of Dipper.
Mabel smiled at that. "So, you DON'T like Dipper right?"
"What?" Pacifica asked.
"I mean like you wouldn't happen to have a crush on him?"
"Honestly, I don't have a clue."
"Then I'll help," Mabel said beaming at her. "You do." She finished as she put on a serious face.
"Really?" Pacifica asked almost miserably.
"Hey, what's wrong with my bro bro?"
"Nothing it's just... I don't know, he's seems to good for me, plus he probably isn't interested."
"I don't know Pacifica, I think he might like you back."
Pacifica looked down not sure if she believed Mabel or not. Not that she didn't want to believe her, she did, but Dipper didn't seem like the kind of guy to like a girl like her. She sighed sadly.
"You could always ask," Mabel said to her. The words went over and over in her head. You could always ask.
Then, standing up and trying to look totally sure of herself, she went upstairs to talk to Dipper, leaving a smiling Mabel behind her drinking her flower tea.
Dipper heard a knock on his bedroom door, thinking it was Mabel he answered without asking who it was or what they wanted. When he opened to door he saw a very nervous Pacifica.
"Dipper, I need to tell you something."
"Okay..."
Seeing that as an invitation she stepped in and got straight to the point.
"Look, Dipper, I like you." She said. "I mean LIKE you like you."
Dipper stood there shocked for a minute, processing what she said.
"Yeah, I-I like you to..." He said nervously. Heseemed surprised at his own words and looked at the ground, shoving his hands in his pockets awkwardly.
With that Pacifica smiled.
"Really?" She said softly, not have expecting that answer.
"Um, yeah, yeah I think so," He still looked like he didn't know why he had said that he liked her, but he was sure it was true.
He felt her come over closer to him and felt her arms wrap his waist and she laid her head on his chest. At first he wasn't sure what to do but he slowly wrapped his arms around her smiling at the feeling going through him. He leaned down and kissed the top of her hair staying there until she pulled away slightly. Pacifica just looked at Dipper, in that moment, taking time to study the small features. She leaned in then, praying for him do the same and he did, slowly, unsure of himself. Just inches away... and Mabel walks in.
"Hey guys, wha-" Mabel stopped. "Sorry..." backing out of the room.
Pacifica laughed, looking down at the ground.
Dipper looked down at Pacifica and smiled. Lifting her chin for her to look at him, he said "Now, where were we?"
