《Dipcifica One-Shots { By - Ninja Rainbow }》Lost Part 2

Dipper laid next to a curled up Pacifica in the damp cave, listening to the rain splatter against the ground outside. She had finally fallen asleep after crying for over half an hour on Dipper's shoulder. They had been lost for over 6 hours now and Dipper couldn't blame her for getting kind of scared and worried. He was too....
Pacifica had finally gotten calmed down enough to fall asleep, exhausted from from all the worry that had consumed her. She had cried for what seemed like forever on Dipper's shoulder and then cried herself to sleep. She woke up wrapped in his arms, she wasn't even phased by it at this point. She knew he liked her, from Mabel insisting he told her and her own relationship smarts, and she thought she might like him back. Looking at his sleeping face though, so calm and handsome, barely a blemish to be seen, it was hard not to stare. Her heart did somersaults in her chest and she fought the urge to trace his jawline. Yeah, she definitely liked him back. She smiled at the thought.
"Maybe, just maybe, we have a chance together," she whispered, laying her head on his chest, letting his heartbeat bring her back to a dreamless sleep.
~~~~~~
Dipper woke up, finding Pacifica cuddled up to him. He smiled at the beautiful, sleeping face. Then he carefully released her and stood up. He noticed the rain had stopped and he went out to try and find the way out of the woods. After about 5 minutes he found a clearing leading to the Mystery Shack, and ran back to get Pacifica.
"Pacifica, I found the shack," he said shaking her awake.
"Huh...." She replied sleepily. "Wait, what?!"
She shot to her feet smiling and hugged Dipper, crying into his shoulder again, this time out of happiness. He pulled away slightly after a minute and smiled at her, "let's get going."
They raced out of the woods and ran to the Mystery Shack, never having been so happy to see the place. Pacifica looked up at Dipper with a huge, Mabel-sized, grin spread across her face, and gave him a light peck on the lips, surprising him.
"What was that for?" He asked, a smile tugging at his lips.
She gave him another kiss on the cheek and laughed, "Because I would still be in there, lost as a blind man in a maze, had it not been for you. And I just kind of felt like it."
"Well, better let the girl have what she wants," he said a huge smile growing on his face now as they turned to head into the Mystery Shack never so grateful for the rundown shack he called home.
Rage: Crisis / Consequence / ???
Its been ten years since Seth was given his powers, ten years since his town was driven mad by that very same power, and ten years since its source was shunted into his head. A species of energy beings, a people filled with regret for what their entrance onto this world caused. Regret for the deaths that town perpetuated, the devastation they brought, the blow they served to the once proud heroes of this world. Heroes Seth now hopes to join, hopes to heal and atone to for what transpired. But their wounds run deep, their ire sharp, and their acceptance thin. And to top it all off... Seth's power is run far deeper than he knows, and sees his world in a light all its own. This series is my first foray into authoring, with two parts out of at best four if the readership stands. But part three will still book end nicely otherwise. And I'm not stopping till then. It is action heavy with varied and ramping up fight scenes through out. (Book 1 is heavy / Book 2 a little lighter) It is bloody in places, mildly gory in others, and heavily gory in simulated places. Nothing truly horrifying, I think, but be warned. It has trauma. PTSD is a major part of the story, but I will never trust that I got it completely right, so your mileage may vary on how believable or impactful it is. Lastly it has language. Swearing ebbs and flows as the story progresses and attitudes harden or soften. Sometimes bleeding through into the narration... somehow.
