Maylen, and Vincent had been meeting with Marlon, Rudy, and Georgina for the past few days. Down in the old Bennet crypt in the far back of the cemetery, Blaise knew of the plan her parents told her, but not of the secondary plan that was set in motion some years back.

"I don't see why we don't just tell her, she's not stupid Maylen." Marlon spoke from the entryway, he's only known the young woman for a short period of time, but it didn't take a genius to see she is wise like her mother.

"The less she knows the better, if she finds out now, her powers will be all out of whack. The only thing that distracts that child is Damon Salvatore, his role in this is critical, so leave them be." Maylen said, she prepared a bowl, dropping a single strand of Blaise hair in. Then Vincent took his wife's hand, held it over the bowl, and cut deeply into her palm letting her blood drip down the center of her hand.

"I'll be so glad when this is over with, even if it does mean dying, Klaus has reigned terror on every life he's come across. No one deserves that." Georgina said, she was next to bleed into the dark wooden bowl, her eyes dull, facial expression blank. You can tell she'd been young, beautiful, and vibrant once. However, years of paranoia, and running is wearing her body thin; she had caught the brunt of Niklaus Mickealsons rage. Like a child being told no for the first time, when Georgina refused to help him break the curse, Klaus took that personally. He claimed he had never loved anyone more than he loved her, but Georgina had always felt like Klaus' little chew toy rather than a partner.

Maylen's lips pinched together tightly twisting her face into a sour grimace, Klaus is indeed one wretched creature. Rudy took the blade next, he was the most hesitant about all this, but of course he feels that way. Rudy's never been one to get into dark magic, always staying in the lines like a good boy. However, his ancestors warned him a long time ago, if he doesn't take action against Klaus, many more will die. The vision they showed him, even his Bonnie, ended up being killed in an attempt to help Blaise. His baby girl has already been through a lot when her mother became a vampire, then when Bonnie accidentally killed her grams. It's time to be the real father Bonnie deserves, Rudy opens his palm mimicking the same action, and letting his blood drip into the bowl.

Marlon was last, he had no personal beef with Klaus, but the way that man picks apart Witches like leftovers doesn't sit right with him. Usually Marlon doesn't dabble in the darkness either, but he'll ride for his family. Who's to say Marlon won't be next on Klaus' list of Witches to use, and throw away. So, the five of them start their new daily binding ritual, uniting their magic to Blaise. The more they chanted, the more the rusted gates to the other side rattled, the more the spirits of the old, and new came forth. A fight was coming, this time Maylen was bringing the whole bloodline.

Caroline watched Blaise from the other side of the woods. She came out here to do her physical training with Stefan, but today she was alone. Caroline knew Blaise didn't see her as much of a friend, the Witch knew how to put on a show, but Caroline knew when someone was being fake to her. She just didn't understand how a freak show like Blaise got all the popularity Caroline had worked her ass off to get. She even got Damon, and no one even batted an eye at the fact he was with Elena first! Apparently it's ok for Bonnie, Elena, and Blaise to pass around boys to everyone but her! Sure she had Tyler, but they all knew that wasn't going to last. Tyler was boring, and so puppy-like, Caroline wanted a man who was going to assert their dominance. Someone like-

"You know it's rude to stare." Klaus' warm breath caressed the shell of Caroline's ear, Blaise's head snapped up at the sudden whisper of the British blonde's taunting voice. Caroline quickly grabbed Klaus by the collar of his coat, she ran them all the way back to her house. She slammed the door locking it, lucky for her, her mother was working today...but she's always working.

"What the hell do you want?" Caroline asked, Klaus looked at her with a surprised expression. He's seen Caroline feisty, but he's never known her to be this brave.

"It's a bit peculiar that you'd spy on your best friend instead of sit down and join her, unless...you aren't best friends anymore?" Klaus teased, he made himself comfortable on the loveseat in the Forbes living room.

"Shut up, you don't know what you're talkin about." Caroline folded her arms stubbornly, she wasn't going to give that old perve the satisfaction.

"Aht Aht, you didn't defend your friendship, nor did you deny that you and Ms.Laurent aren't besties, which means...drama? Wow I do love the theatrics of American teenage girls, you'll stab each other in the back everyday, and still compliment hairstyles. I do not understand, no matter, now that you have me, what are you going to do to me?" Klaus sped forward, Caroline stepped back, this repeated until he had her trapped in her own kitchen. His hips pressed against hers, the only way for them to be any closer than they were right now, is if it were flesh to flesh. Klaus liked this, making others feel uncomfortable, he's gone his whole childhood feeling shamed because of the sins of his mother. Now he gets to inflict that on others, Caroline's breathing is staggering; Klaus is a dangerous man, not only could he compel other vampires, but his werewolf venom can kill vampires. The possibilities of how he could kill her are endless, Caroline had so much confidence a moment ago, but she didn't dare move.

"Yes, you, and Me Caroline, are going to have some fun." Klaus whispered into her ear, before she could respond, Klaus twisted her head far past her shoulder snapping the young blonde's neck. Footsteps came to a slowing stop at the bottom of the stairs of Caroline Forbes house, Klaus rolled his eyes. His baby brother took after him when it came to dramatic entrances.

"I thought you said you'd have Blaise, do you always have to lie brother?" The younger man asked, a pout on his face.

"Well Kol, Blaise isn't very fond of our family, she has too many loved ones attached to her...it's not like I can just snatch her out of the Salvatore home. Anyway, enough with the chit chat. Do your thing, and do it quickly." Klaus stepped over Caroline's body, as he walked out of the Forbes home he stood on the porch and took a look around the neighborhood. Kol standing behind him, an unconscious Caroline hanging over his shoulder.

"Why do they fight for this town so much, it's so dreary, bland, and uncultured. These people are nothing but a nuisance, and I can't wait to get rid of them all." Klaus grumbled as he and his baby brother sped off into the forest.

"Elena, just take a breath, and tell me how you really feel. " Stefan sighed for the fourth time during their conversation, they had been struggling with their relationship for quite a while. Stefan was just exhausted at this point, she'd been crying throughout the whole thing, and Elena's whole face was red. He thought she was going to explode at one point, Jeremy had left with Matt a while ago, so Elena was really letting loose.

"I've been telling you how I felt for the past two hours! You're not listening Stefan, how many other ways can I say I feel like shit? I thought I loved Damon, but it was just the sire bond, then my emotions were turned off for a whole year. Then I thought getting back together with you would help me heal because you're like my best friend." Elena grabbed another tissue from her night stand, she blew her nose...again, and then sobbed a little more. Stefan didn't totally understand which part she felt like shit for, leaving him to date his older brother, or leaving his older brother to come back to him. Stefan opted out of asking that question, instead he decided to ask a new question.

"Well...what's so bad about us being just friends?" Stefan asked, Elana looked at him like he was insane, he could see a fresh batch of tears lining up on the rim of her bottom lids. He could kick himself for being such a dumbass right now, maybe he should just say nothing.

"No we can't be just friends." Elena said, her arms gesturing between the two of them.

"Okay, and why not?" Stefan asked, a confused look on his face.

"Because I love you, you dumb bitch!" Elena shouted, hot tears streaming down her face, Stefan froze in his spot, if this wasn't such a messy conversation he'd definitely laugh. Elena's been spending too much time around Blaise again, Stefan has heard the dark skin girl shout those words at Damon a few times. It's usually followed by a loud crashing noise from Blaise pushing the older Salvatore damn near through her bedroom wall. When Elena reached for another tissue there were none left, she was too sad to get up to get more, so she just sat there in her bed. Her knees pressed to her chest sniffing, Stefan got up from the desk chair on the opposite side of the brunette's room. He came to sit next to her, Elena automatically wrapped her long arms around Stefan's torso.

"I know, I love you too, but we're not in love with each other Lena. Not anymore, I think our epic love was ending long before you developed feelings for Damon. Part of it was my fault, I watched you slip right through my fingers, but I was too selfish to let you go. So I held on till I couldn't anymore. When you broke up with me, I never should have let you feel comfortable coming back to me just because I'm your safe space. We're together because of our attachment to each other, but not because we're in love. That ship has sailed long ago, and you deserve better." As Stefan spoke, so many memories flickered both their minds; from the first time Stefan saved Elena on Wickery bridge when she was a teenager, all the way to their last break up.

"So this is it huh? The end of our epic love story...well, I'd say we had a nice run." Elena mumbled, she fiddled with the vervain necklace Stefan gave her back in sophomore year.

"Damon, and Blaise make it look so easy." Stefan said his brother has always had better luck with relationships, when he decided he wanted one.

"Yea...I think they're soul mates, they're the real epic love story, remember Damon isn't even supposed to be here. He's supposed to be off seeing the world...again, but he stayed, he stayed for her." Elena recalled the conversation they had a while ago, Damon confessed how much he loved Blaise. At first she admits it's made her jealous, but then Elena thought about it, it's not like Damon loved Elena any less. They just weren't meant to be together the way him, and Blaise were. Plus Elena loved Blaise like a sister, it's not like she viciously took Damon from her. In fact Damon and Elena had been broken up for quite a while beforehand.

"You know...I'm not supposed to be telling you this so you have to swear to secrecy, I'm serious Elena not a peep." Stefan looked her directly in her eyes, a serious expression on his face, he thought about compelling her. Then he remembered how Elena chugs vervain tea religiously so it's futile.

"Okay fine, I won't say anything I promise, now tell me, tell me." Elana shook Stefan's arm childishly, a big stupid grin on her face. Her doe-like eyes looking more innocent than ever, he smiled thinking back on the week before Blaise surprise birthday party. It was just the two of them in the house alone, they were doing some research on soulmate vampire bonds. When Damon just blurted it out.

"Ya know I'm just gonna marry her, I mean...why not right." Damon said, putting his laptop down on the coffee table.

"You're – you're gonna marry Blaise?" Stefan asked in shock, the only other woman Damon ever considered marrying was Katherine.

"No I'm going to marry a dunkey, yes I'm going to marry Blaise." Damon rebuttals sarcastically, he downed a cup of bourbon, then quickly refilled another one.

"Well she is a jackass." Stefan jokes, Damon side eyed him annoyed by that comment.

"You would never say that to her face." Damon says Stefan chuckles, but he was right Stefan would never insult someone like Blaise to her face.

"Damon is going to propose to Blaise, I don't know when, but I imagine after all this Klaus business." Stefan said, a warm loving smile spreading across his face. Elena gasped deeply, that bit of information just unlocked a memory she forgot she had.

"O m g, wait till you see this, your mind is going to be blown." Elena got up from her spot next to Stefan pushing him over. He just laid there in an awkward position, too sleepy to move any further. He listened to Elena throw all the junk around in her closet, Stefan laughed a bit. Elena's closet was a physical embodiment to her own thought process, jumbled, and disorganized.

"This is Blaise's dream journal from when we were like pre-teens, she left it over my house a long time ago. She said maybe it left her house for a reason, and that maybe I should keep it. At the time I had no idea what her dreams would do for me, but maybe it's because her dreams weren't dreams." Elena explains flipping through the pages, Blaise's cursive had gotten better since they were kids.

"What are you saying?" Stefan asked, taking the journal from her, he flipped through some of the pages, and turned it over in his hands examining the front. It is a mature looking journal for a 12 year old, but he's not totally surprised.

"I'm saying, Blaise was having visions of her future, and she didn't know it. Stefan, who knows all of what she predicted." Elena said she stopped at the last journal entry, it must have been the night she stayed over, and forgot to pack it the next day.

Dear Diary, this dream felt like I was floating. I've never felt so peaceful before, this man was there, a white no pale man. He had dark black hair, and baby blue eyes, that's all I could see was his eyes. He seemed kind and gentle, which is weird because I don't think I knew this guy. The only other boy I know with blue eyes is Matt Donavan, but this man's blue eyes were different. This man's eyes were cold, like a winter blizzard, he's looking at me weird, maybe lovingly. I've never been in love before, but this man definitely knew me, then the scene changed. I looked way older, maybe 20s, we were at some restaurant laughing and eating, his smile was gorgeous. Stunningly perfect white teeth, bright smile to match his bright eyes, and even I was smiling. I haven't smiled like that yet, too depressed to. He was saying something to me, I couldn't tell, everything was in Italian, so much for subtitles. Anyway, I don't know who this man was, maybe I've been watching too many romance movies with Elena, Bonnie, and Caroline. Anyway, I should get back to sleep before my alarm goes off.

The journal entry ends there, Stefan and Elena are speechless, she described Damon perfectly. There's no way that was a coincidence, Blaise, and Damon were always meant to be.
