You sigh as you have just finished washing the dishes, you look to the left and see Jungkook drying up the last plate before looking up at you. You smile at him, him mirroring your smile back at you.
He moves in front of you before leaving a peck on your forehead, bringing you in his arms. You wrap yours around his waist and relax into them. "You did great today." Jungkook gently says. You hum in response, tired and exhausted from all the cooking and laughing.
You and everyone that came, have made you forget reality, from your thoughts. "I would've bailed out without you kiddo." You say before chuckling when you heard Jungkook gasp before pulling away from your arms. "You did not just call me kiddo..." you laugh at jungkooks face as his thin lips are pouted.
"Have you seen yourself that you look like a kid when you smile or eat, your doey eyes and bunny smile." You say before you slowly stepping away from him. He glares at you before you quickly run upstairs, him running right behind you.
You run in your room and look behind you to see him right there, looking at you with a grin. He slowly steps towards you, you stepping back but you knees touch the end of the bed. You gulp as you stare up in his brown orbs.
He moves closer and closer, making you flop on the bed as he hovers over you. His minty breath hitting against your cheeks, arms on both sides of your head. You nervously gulp as his lips are almost close to your lips, his hovering over yours. "They say don't judge a book by his cover." He whisper against your lips.
Your chest falls up and down slowly before you feel Jungkook tickling you. You look at him dumbfounded. Jungkook whines with a pout. "Yah tiny, I wanna hear you laugh!" Jungkook says sadly. You chuckle. "Sorry." You say while giving him a smile. Jungkook smiles before leaning down to kiss your face, starting with your forehead, your cheeks, nose, eyes. You giggle at his action.

He stops and looks up to your left and sees the guitar case, still untouched. He softly sighs before looking back down at you. "Still scared to play it huh?" He gently ask you. You take your gaze away from his, looking to your guitar.
You missed playing it, but all you did was shake.
"You shake before able to play it right?" Jungkook ask while standing up and sitting on the bed. You sit up and sigh while looking down at your legs. "You saw me huh?" Jungkook nods before taking your hands in his. "Go ahead and try again. Baby, I know you can do it." Your lips form into a thin line before looking back up at jungkook. He gives you a reassuring look and smile, motioning you to go.
So you slowly get up and walk towards the guitar, you pick up the guitar case and set it on the bed, opening it. Your eyes sparkle in happiness and pain as you look at the light brown guitar. You inhale a deep breath, before letting it out. Your fingertips touch the cold guitar before gently picking it up. You sit down and place the guitar on your knee before slowly moving your fingertips near the strings, you see your hands shaking and you gulp, looking up at jungkook.
"It's okay am, remember, the guitar helps you escape reality. Don't be afraid and escape it for now." Jungkook says genially, giving you a soft smile. "Can you escape with me?" You whisper, noticing the shaking in your voice. Jungkook smiles and nods. "What song coldy?" You give him a small smile, missing when he calls you coldy.
Making you forget that you were now vulnerable whenever you don't feel okay. "At the moment, I don't know what to play." You say with a nervous laugh, your hands still shaking. Jungkook eyes widen as an idea came up in his head. "Talking to the moon." You give him a small smile. "This song is like talking, reaching out to a loved one that isn't here." You nod with a sad smile. "Yea I know but woah I never thought of that." You mumble. You breath in and out.

"Just join me when you feel like to, as long as you escape with me." You whisper. Jungkook nods and you still shaking, strum a string, you instantly stiffen but relax.
In this moment, you felt like crying. You have missed playing the guitar so much. You missed escaping reality while playing music on your mothers guitar.
You then begin to sing, your eyes shut and begin to feel relaxed with the melody.
Amber -
"I know you're somewhere out there
Somewhere far away
I want you back, I want you back
My neighbors think I'm crazy
But they don't understand
You're all I had, you're all I had."
"At night when the stars light up my room
I sit by myself, Talking to the moon."
"Tryna get to you. In hopes you're on the other side, talking to me too
Or am I a fool, who sits alone, talking to the moon?"
You sing but when you open your eyes, your vision was blurry. Jungkook joins you, singing a few parts, harmonizing with you, humming a few parts.
Amber and jungkook -
"I'm feeling like I'm famous, the talk of the town
They say I've gone mad
Yeah, I've gone mad
But they don't know what I know
'Cause when the sun goes down, someone's talking back
Yeah, they're talking back, oh."
"At night when the stars light up my room
I sit by myself, talking to the moon."
"Tryna get to you. In hopes you're on the other side, talking to me too
Or am I a fool, who sits alone, talking to the moon?"
You then felt tears stream down your face due to the next lines.
Amber -
"Do you ever hear me calling?
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh
'Cause every night, I'm talking to the moon."
Amber and Jungkook -
"Still trying to get to you. In hopes you're on the other side, talking to me too
Or am I a fool, who sits alone, talking to the moon?"
Jungkook stops when you sing the outro.
Amber -
"Oh-oh, I know you're somewhere out there
Somewhere far away."
You sing while you strum the last string, vibrating until you stop it. You put the guitar to the side and feel arms instantly wrap around you. You sniffle in his arms while he hums, gently rubbing your back up and down, comforting you in silence.
You felt like crying because the fact that he still doesn't forget to your grandmother in anything, aches your heart. The fact that he continues to give you strength and believes in you, pains your heart. The fact that he didn't leave, the fact he stayed by your side no matter how much obstacles you have gotten through, made you appreciate it him more and more.
Second by second, minute by minute, hour by hour, day by day, you don't take him for granted. Your just glad he's here for you in the moments when you didn't know you needed someone the most.
And you were going to be there for him to when he needs a shoulder to rely on just like he has done for you.
You wouldn't have played the guitar without his help, without him.
