《Bakugou X Kirishima's sister (Reader)》Chapter 18

Katsuki wasn't joking when he said he was done going easy. The next day during class you'd ended up flat on your back more times then you wanted to admit. You'd stood more of chance whenever you could use your quirk, allowing you to push him away if you needed a moment, or to stop him from dodging to allow you to get a hit or two in. Out of the entirety of your practicing he never once used his quirk on you. You weren't sure why, sure it was destructive, but he had no trouble using it on the rest of the class. Trying not to dwell on it too much you focused your attention to his fighting style, trying to analyze it and figure out a way around it.
As the week progressed, you'd gotten better, by far better then when you first started. Periodically he would stop and give you pointers on what you were doing wrong or where to fix your technique. It was annoying at first, he wasn't the nicest with his delivery, but once you set your pride aside and listened to what he had to say you could see the improvement.
Cementoss was watching the class with Aizawa today and had made an area for you all to practice with. Now that you had things to pick up with your quirk you wanted to see if you could get Bakugou to use his. He stood across from you, waiting for you to make the first move. You also wanted to test your quirks ability to deal with multiple objects, picking up two stone boulder sized rocks that Cementoss had created you threw them at Bakugou. The second you let go you used your quirk to push you over and behind him. You heard two explosions as you saw both rocks break apart. Bakugou looked through the wreckage only to see you weren't standing where you once where.
"Gotcha!" you nearly yelled as you popped up from behind him. Using your quirk, you stopped him in place as you grabbed his arm, still outstretched from the explosions he'd made earlier. Quickly you brought it behind his back, using your foot, you kicked behind his knee, forcing him to fall. Using your body weight, you pushed him to the ground and held him there. "Oh my god, finally!" a grin spread across your face. You'd lost focus on what you were doing, to enthralled with what you had accomplished.
"Don't get distracted, dumbass." He spoke sternly as he ripped his arm from you, flipping himself over he grabbed you and pinned your back to the floor. You grimaced in response. "Just because you got them down, doesn't mean it's over, you can't let up." He stared into you with a serious look, his face hanging inches above yours. He still hadn't let you go, and after a moment his face softened slightly. Your heart was racing now, not from the physical exertion but from having him this close to you. Moving towards you, he was searching your face when he suddenly froze, shook his head like he was trying to clear it, remembering where you both were.
You could hear Aizawa calling for the class to regroup. He pushed himself off you, grabbing your wrist he pulled you up before he went towards Mr. Aizawa. You dusted yourself off, still somewhat fuzzy minded from what had happened. Walking over to the class you could hear Aizawa talking.

"Tomorrow is the day of the exercise; I hope you all learned something new this week or improved in your abilities. Be ready, I'll see you tomorrow."
Everyone dispersed, going to change before heading to the dorms. Jirou came up behind you holding you back to walk behind the rest of the class.
"I saw that," she smiled at you.
"Saw what?" you pretended to not know what she was talking about.
"Saw you guys almost make out in front of everyone." She laughed.
You jumped, "What no?! That was not what was happening!" you rushed through your words.
"Okay fine. But something almost happened." She stifled her laughs, as you walked into the locker room.
You rolled your eyes in response. Going to change, you were exhausted and wanted nothing more then to go bed. But you couldn't, you still had your study group tonight. Suddenly your phone vibrated with a notification. Looking down you saw a text from Katsuki.
Katsuki: Can we study in your room tonight?
Y/N: Sure, but why?
Katsuki: I just don't feel like being around everyone right now.
Hmmm, he seemed fine earlier, you couldn't help but wonder what happened. But you didn't want to push it and put him in an even worse mood. So, you left it at that and turned to Jirou, waiting so you both could walk back to the dorms.
He stalked off to the school's locker rooms, ready to get back to the dorms. I can't believe I almost did that, he groaned in his head. He gathered his stuff, wrestling with his inner thoughts when two voices pulled him out of his head.
"Come on, dude. I won that bet fair and square, when do I get to go on a date with your sister?" Kaminari whined at Kiri.
"I don't know man; she doesn't seem too interested. I can't really force her to go or anything." Kiri scratched the back of his head.
"I'm not saying force her, I'm just saying be my wing man and persuade her. Just one date that's all I need." He gave Kiri a pleading look.
Kiri sighed, "Alright, I'll ask one more time, tonight at the study group."
Kaminari threw his hands up in celebration, "Yes!"
His teeth clenched together, "Will you both shut up?" he growled as he glared at Kaminari.
"What's his problem?" Kaminari whispered to Kiri, who only shrugged in response.
He began to make his way to the door. When he heard Kaminari again, "Oh I get it, he's just mad he's too mean to pull a girl like that." He snickered at Kiri not realizing that Bakugou heard his terrible joke.
He stalked over to Kaminari and grabbed him by his shirt. "Woah, Bakubro no need for violence." Kiri tried to deescalate the situation. He rolled his eyes, dropping Kaminari on the ground and storming out of the locker room. His teeth grinding together as he walked towards his dorm. Did that idiot really say that, he only liked her for the way she looked. He had no idea what she was really like. He took a deep breath before taking out his phone.

You'd made it too your room, closing the door you turned to your computer on your desk. Picking a playlist, you went to your dresser, pulling out some comfortable clothes to change into. With your favorite joggers on and one of your flowy crop tops you settled into bed and pulled out your textbooks. You didn't have too much homework considering Aizawa wanted you all focused for tomorrow.
Suddenly your door swung open, Katsuki stormed inside, nearly slamming the door behind him. Someone's angry. He threw himself on the end of your bed, sitting with his back against the wall he pulled out his books and began working.
You paused and looked over at him. "Are you just upset that I got you today?" you smirked. He didn't respond, he only focused on the work in front of him. You frowned, "Are you going to talk to me at all?"
He pinched the bridge of his nose with a groan, "I just don't feel like talking right now," he snapped.
You put your hands up in surrender and went back to work. It was hard to focus on your math when he kept grumbling to himself. But you tried to drown him out with the music and get your work done. When you were done with your math you moved on to history, you were almost done when Katsuki closed his book and put his face in his hands. You glanced at him before returning to the question before you. You weren't a big fan of history, but it was pretty straightforward stuff.
Finally finishing the last question Katsuki spoke up, "I'm," he paused like he was struggling to say something, "sorry... for getting upset with you earlier. You didn't do anything but try and help and I got mad at you." He was turned away from you as he spoke. After a few moments he turned to look at you.
"Well, thanks for the apology." You gave him a small smile. "Are you going to tell me why you were upset?"
He sighed, "Some people are just annoying." Scooting to sit next to you he asked, "Are you done?" he motioned towards your textbook.
"Yeah, I just finished," you said as you closed the book. He grabbed it from you and tossed it to the floor. One of his large arms wrapped around you and pulled you down on the bed with him. His other arm snaked behind you as he pulled you closer to him, hiding his face in the crook of your neck. Your eyes grew wide as you froze, unsure of what was happening. When he hadn't let you go you relaxed and wrapped your arms around him resting your head on the top of his head, his hair soft against your face. He stiffened slightly at your touch, much like you did earlier, before he relaxed into your arms. You could feel his breath on your neck as you laid their listening to the music fill the silence.
"Katsuki?" you spoke quietly.
"Hmm?" he sounded like he was falling asleep.
"What are you thinking about?"
He reached up grabbing one your hands, interlocking your fingers, "Why don't you just check for yourself, dumbass?" You were almost positive he rolled his eyes when he said it.
You let out a breath you didn't know you were holding and closed your eyes. Letting your quirk move towards him, peering into his thoughts. You weren't looking for anything in particular so you just looked, like someone looking through a window. You saw yourself, but there weren't thoughts that went along with the image. You could only sense the emotions, contentment, perhaps happiness, mixed with nervousness and you could sense some kind of turmoil. Similar to the emotions you felt when you thought of him. You felt him pull your chin to look at him.
He was looking at you with curiosity, "So what did you find?"
"I didn't really find anything, more like I guess I could sense how you were feeling." He nodded more so to himself then you. You couldn't help but think about what he said earlier, that he was upset because people are annoying. But what could have happened from the time class ended to when he texted you? "Katsuki, are you sure I wasn't the one who made you mad earlier?"
He rolled on to his back, pulling you on to his chest, "Why would I have been upset with you?" His usual annoyed tone had returned.
"I don't know, I thought you would have said I made another cheap shot today."
"No dumbass, I'm just glad you actually improved this week."
You smiled to yourself, "Is that a compliment Katsuki?"
"Don't let it go to your head," he mumbled.
You couldn't help but chuckle as you looked up at him, "Want to watch a movie?"
He looked at you with an expression you couldn't quite place, "Sure."
You started to get up to pick a movie, but he stopped you. He grabbed your chin pulling you in to a soft kiss. Your mind went blank and your heart began to beat faster. You were positive he would always have this affect on you. He pulled back, looking into your eyes.
"So, are you going to pick a movie?"
With an eyeroll you got up and picked some random movie on Netflix that was in your recommended. Crawling back into your bed, Katsuki grabbed you and pulled you to him, wrapping his arms around you. Leaning into him, you remembered the night at his parent's house where you wanted nothing more than to curl up next to him because he had felt so warm. Now that you were here, wrapped up next to him, you never wanted to leave.
Your eyes began to feel heavy. Honestly after this entire week full of training it was no surprise you were physically exhausted. Reaching up for Katsuki's hand you didn't fight the sleep as it took over. You put your fingers in between his, squeezing his hand slightly. You could feel his thumb running small circles on the back of your hand as you fell asleep.
