Dreyfus drops his sword and lowers to his knees, his eyes on the ground, "I admit defeat, just kill me," He says with sorrow in his tone.
"W...Why?!" Howzer yells and I look at him wondering when he joined us, but I don't think it's the right time to ask that.
Dreyfus starts to explain what happened, "I never knew he'd be so mad as to attempt to revive the demon race, though. By then, the crack between us became a gulf, as a warning against me betraying him, he killed my son. Though I suppose it was my own actions that brought his demise," Dreyfus explains, "I don't know how this happened. I just wanted to be a father my son could be proud of."
"Griamor's alive," Meliodas says.
"And he is proud of you, true... He looked up to his uncle a lot as a child but an uncle isn't a father," I smile at the grandmaster, "He loves you but he has some insecurities, though don't mention it to him," I smile and the grandmaster begins to cry.
"It's all over then, the matter's settled!" Meliodas says and wraps his arms around my waist, "Let's get you home," He says.
King Barta starts to cough up blood, we all have a tiny panic and some rush to him, "Step aside," Merlin says and everyone backs away from Barta, she hovers her hand over his face, "He's extremely weak. We must return to Camelo with him to administer treatment," She looks at me, "I'll be requesting your presence there."
"Sure thing, just don't make me a part of your experiments got it?" I wave it off.
"Of course," Merlin says.
"It's okay Elizabeth, do you remember the vision I told you about?" King Barta says and Elizabeth looks at Merlin and me.
"Boar and a Wolf..." She whispers and turns to her sister, "Sister Margaret, I think we should let Miss Merlin and Lady Y/N take father to treat him," She says.
"If you say so Elizabeth," Margaret nods as she trusts her baby sisters' words.
"Merlin..." Meliodas says and Merlin looks at him then he whispers something to her.
"Rest assured Captain, she will be safe with me," Merlin says.
I walk to Meliodas, "Can I interrupt?" I ask and Meliodas nods. I kiss him gently, "I love you, I won't be long promise," I whisper.
"Come back to me," He whispers.
"Promise," I smile and I help Merlin pick up the king, "Come on Arthur."
"Ah... Wait!" Arthur says and rushes to Meliodas, grabbing his hands, "Meliodas! It was fate's design that led us to each other! Please! Lend me your strength as the Grandmaster of the Holy Knights of Camelot!"
I smile at Meliodas, "Sure!" He removes his hands from Arthur with a big smile, "If I ever feel like it, we have rescued Elizabeth and saved Liones as well as cleared our names," Meliodas explains, "There's also cleaning up the town and my Boar Hat's tavern to consider. Then we need to get Y/N back to her Kingdom and restore fairies memories and spend our lives together, properly. I can't just up and leave right now, but if you need help... Come and find me and I'll offer my help."

"He dodged that one well," Merlin says.
"Merlin, what about you? Aren't you going to rejoin us?" Meliodas asks as Arthur walks to us.
Merlin smirks at him, "If I ever feel like it," She repeats his words and we teleport to Merlin's lab in Camelot, "Y/N please can you lay King Barta down?"
"Sure thing," I say and lay Barta down on the bed placed in the lab, "I guess you already knew you'd be bringing King Barta here?" I ask looking over at Merlin.
"You're correct, also I'm helping you at the same time," Merlin says as she looks through a book then hands me a list, "Look around the lab for these ingredients, you fly so you'll be able to get the ingredients from the top shelving where most of them are," Merlin says, "Try not to knock anything over though please."
"Okay," I take the list and start collecting the ingredients placing them beside Merlin, "Anything else?"
"Can you ease the King's pain?" She asks and I nod flying to him, I use a tiny amount of Sunlight Drop to ease his pain.
"Anything you want me to do to?" King Arthur asks.
"When I administer the medicine, I'll need you and Y/N to hold him down, it's quite painful but it's effective," Merlin explains.
"Should I be worried?" Barta asks me.
"Oh no," I shake my head, "I'm sure the pain won't last long and I can remove your pain," I smile at him.
Arthur stands on the opposite side of Barta, "I knew I'd be able to help you," He grins and looks at me, "You have a kingdom, what's yours?"
"The Fairy Forest..." I point to my wings.
"She's the first Fairy Queen to ever live, same strength as the first Fairy King," Merlin explains as she walks over with a bowl and a cloth. She gets the bowl to float steadily beside her, "Hold him down," She says and I hold down his shoulders as Arthur holds his legs down, "Forgive me, Your Majesty, this will hurt for a bit."
I don't focus on Merlin, I focus on keeping Barta down as he screams, "Shhh," I say and place my thumbs on his temples causing the King to sleep, "There we go."
"Will he wake up?" Arthur asks.
"When the job is finished, he'll wake up naturally," I tell him with a smile.
"Thank you Y/N," Merlin says with a nod and carries on working.
"Don't stop holding him down thought King Arthur, I haven't used this in a while so I'm sure how long it may last with the type of medicine Merlin is using," I say, "Have you used this before?"
"Nope, first time... Been dying to try it out," She smirks.
"You scare me at times," I comment and King Arthur nods agreeing.
After the medicine has been administered, I wipe away the sweat from Barta's forehead as he sleeps on the bed.

"Y/N," I look up at Merlin, "Arthur can you take over from Y/N please?"
"Sure thing," He nods and takes the cloth from me, "Just dabbing right?"
"Yeah, that's right," I nod and walk to Merlin, "Yeah?"
"Okay, when you get back to your Kingdom, fly around and sprinkle this," Merlin says and hands me a vile, "It'll revive everything and the fairies in the new forest will come home," She smiles, "As they enter they'll remember you, also there's nothing that can truly awaken the date, that isn't demonic," She explains, "I know the three of you want to bring her back to life."
"I know, it wouldn't be permanent anyway would it?" I ask.
She shakes her head, "It wouldn't be no," She says and the two turn hearing a groan, "Good afternoon Your Majesty, sleep well? How do you feel?" She asks and walks up to the bed.
I walk with her and smile at Barta, "I slept well and I feel better," He nods, "Thank you, all three of you," He adds.
"No need to thank us, we're just doing our jobs," Merlin says and looks in her crystal ball, "It seems whatever commotion occurred in Liones since we left is now over, are you ready to go back, Sire?" She asks.
"Yes, I'm ready to go back," He says and slowly sits up, "I'm very grateful for everything you've done," He adds and stands up.
"I'll see you soon Arthur," Merlin says before we teleport back to everyone.
"Ahem," Barta coughs seeing Elizabeth hugging Meliodas, "You two, please keep some distance," He says and Elizabeth instantly goes to him.
"Meliodas," I smile and run to him, jumping and hugging him. He chuckles and catches me, "Everything okay?"
"Hendrickson didn't die, but he is now," Meliodas says and squeezes my butt, "Everything okay there?"
"Yeah," I smile.
"Lady Merline, how can I ever begin to thank you?" Elizabeth says.
"No need to thank me, princess. There was this new hidden technique from the demon realm that I've been dying to try out. It worked even better than I had imagined," Merlin says.
"You sure got some guts, using the King as your guinea pig," Meliodas says looking at her blankly.
"As long as the end result is good, right, Your Majesty?" Merlin says with a smile.
"I love you so much," I whisper to Meliodas, "Please stop squeezing my butt, it's embarrassing in public."
"I love you so much too," Meliodas says, "So I can squeeze it when we're alone?" He chuckles and puts me down.
"Meliodas and the Eight Deadly Sins," Barta says and we look at him, "You served a great cause, even while you were framed as traitors, you still protected the kingdom as the King, I give you my gratitude," Barta says, "You also protected my daughter, you have my gratitude as a father as well, I thank you all."
"Let's cut out all the stiff stuff," Meliodas says as he places his arm over my shoulder.
"But... But because of me, Hawk was... He was my... Precious friend," Elizabeth cries.
"I'm sure Hawk doesn't blame you at all," Meliodas says and we walk to Hawks stone body with Ban.
"I said some messed up stuff to you. Like that we were never friends... Really messed up stuff... Everyone I like... Leave me," Ban says and I place my hand on his shoulder, he lands his over mine.
"I can't let you quite the Boar Hat, Hawk. Who else is going to clean up all the leftovers?" Meliodas asks, "You have to come back and once you do I'll triple the number of leftovers you get," Meliodas says.
"Okay, but remember... You promised," A high pitched voice speaks and we look to Hawk black stone body fade away to a tiny body.
"You're... Alive?!" We all lower to our knees looking at Hawk.
"Oh my gosh, you're adorable!" I squeal.
"Yep, seems like it," Tiny Hawk says and looks at us, "How did you all get so big?" He questions.
Ban cheers and throws Hawk up in the air, "Check it out that's one wacky pig!" Meliodas says.
I pull Meliodas to me and hold him against my body, "Sunlight drop," I whisper as Nighshadefol changes its form healing Meliodas.
I pull away from him and smile, "So, what's the plan?" He asks.
"Merlin gave me a vile to revive the Fairy Forest," I tell him, "I would like to go home."
"About that," Ban walks to me, "Elaine gave me a seed," Harlequinn flies down listening, "I planting elsewhere, I can give you the location for the new forest."
"Huh?" I look at him, "You did... You gave my people a new home?" I ask and my eyes tear up.
"Y/N? You okay?" Meliodas asks and hugs me.
"I'm just so happy... I've always worried about them... A...And to learn my home went up in flames, I was scared for them and now I know they have a home, I'm so happy," I say.
Ban smiles and pats my head, "Come on Wolfy, you look awful when you cry," He grins at me but I punch him, sending him flying into a rock, "Nope... She's fine."
"Idiot, don't insult me when I'm already crying," I say and smile, "But yeah, I'll take the location."
"Sure thing," He grins and Hawk jumps onto him, "You hungry master?"
"Yep!" Hawk nods.

The Sorcerer
This is a fanfiction based on Harry Potter, written by JK Rowling. BEFORE YOU LEAVE, as fan fiction isn't what royal road is known for unless your book is called Borne of Caution, hear me out. This is based 200 years into the future. Hogwarts will be very different, and besides some references, we will follow no characters from the book. In my opinion, this is more of a new, mature, and more realistic version of that universe. If we want to put an analogy to it, I'm borrowing the house, but it's my furniture and things on the inside. Synopsis - 200 years since the battle of Hogwarts. The muggles know - magic is no longer a secret. Wizards and witches show their magical traits much later in life now, their powers weaker than previous generations... and to make matters worse, there is a steady decline in the wizarding population. Follow along as Lux, a muggle-born, shows the world what one determined young wizard can do. A System Apocalypse Fan Fiction I started reading Litrpg about two years ago. I fell in love with Tao Wong's System Apocalypse series. He is an excellent writer and I loved his world building, but when the second series arc went elsewhere It kind of lost me a little. I wanted to create a little parallel world that was very familiar to his fans but skewed off in a different, darker direction. If you haven't read Tao's work, you're missing out! Look him up on Amazon and read The System Apocalypse. One of the best in the genre.

Making of a Genius [A Progression LitRPG]
What does it take to climb to the top of the academic ladder? Lexus came face to face with his mediocrity the moment he arrived at Cambridge University to study computer science. There was a ceiling that he could not overcome, an intellectual world that was unreachable. But if you give a chicken an eagle's wings, it will fly higher than you could ever imagine. And that was exactly what happened to Lexus: with the help of a system, he could make it big. Schedule:1 chapter per week (every Friday evening at 5:30pm GMT). The weekly schedule is to allow time for research and factual accuracy where required. Author's Note: The story is about a computer science student at university, gradually improving and embarking on the path to become a world-renowned genius-level expert with the help of a system. There'll be a lot of studying and academics, but imagine being the best in your year. Easily. At that point, academics stops being stressful and starts being fun, doesn't it? The initial chapters are heavy on mathematical detail, but I don't expect anyone to actually read through them thoroughly. It's fine to skim them or even skip them, but I hope you try to get a sense of the progress being made, and feel happy for Lexus when something 'clicks' inside his brain :) As the story progresses, later chapters will go into less depth into individual questions, though I aim to remain consistent in terms of scientific accuracy/feasibility. Welcome, and I hope you enjoy the story!
