We land just the outside of Liones, "Leave this to me, babe," I say and spread my wings, I fly forward, "AIR!!" I shout and sent all the Holy Knights up into the air. I hear their screams and I keep flying quickly with the three followings after me. I glance to Meliodas, "I'll deal with anymore that come our way, you guys focus on the fighting."
"Are you killing them?" Ban asks.
"Knocking them out, the impact will keep them out cold for a very long time," I explain.
"Go for the kill!" Meliodas orders.
"If that's what you want," I smirk and look forward, "FIRE!" I hold my hands out and fire shoots out of my hands hitting some Holy Knights, causing them to burn. I spin burning the Knight around us, "Go, boys!" I shout.
"I love you!" Meliodas shouts and the three of them, run ahead of me as I follow after them getting rid of different Knight who comes to stop us.
Meliodas soon stopped, followed by Ban and Gowther then me as we feel a magical power. "Huh?" I look up at forward, "This strong magical power... It's coming from the other side of the castle," I say.
I fly on through Liones looking for Elizabeth, "Elizabeth?" blink and see Diane on the ground, "Diane?!" I fly to her, "Sunlight drop!" I heal her and look to see Dreyfus, Howzer, Jericho, Gilthunder and Guila, "Oh Howzer, hey," I wave at him.
"Y/N?! You're an idiot! You're going to get yourself killed!" Howzer freaks out.
"I doubt that," I wave my hand off and smile, I turn and take hold of Diane's hand, "Sorry but I'm busy Howzer," I pull Diane out of whatever she's stuck in, "What the heck was you stuck in?"
"A black hound, King's pet," Diane tells me.
"I understand," I smile and nod.
"Go on ahead, I'll deal with these," She says and I nod again flying off.
I fly to Meliodas, grab his wrist and a ginger-haired boy then fly up, "Hey you!" Meliodas smiles up at me and I smile at him, "Had fun?"
"Diane's here by the way," I tell him, "Did you know?"
"Yeah," He smiles, "Oh honey, this is King Arthur of Camelot," Meliodas tells me.
I look at the other in my hold and I smile, "Hey, nice to meet you," I greet him.
"Hello, lovely to meet you as well," Arthur smiles at me and I put them back on the ground.

I look up to see Hendrickson, "Hendrickson, been a while hasn't it?" I greet him.
"It has," He nods, "Though I am very disappointed in you Y/N... Did you enjoy 9 years in Baste?" He smirks.
"It was amazing, time of my life," I smirk at him and lightning struck the ground, Gilthunder appeared from the lightning and attack Meliodas.
Arthur grabs us and pulls us aside, we thank him and he smiles at us, "It was nothing!" He says with a smile.
Meliodas stands up, "Y/N be ready to heal and shield..." He glances at Arthur, "Mind lending me a hand a little longer?" Meliodas asks.
Arthur gets ready for an attack, "Sure! I'd be glad to!" He says looking at Hendrickson.
I snap my fingers and I'm sat on my purple pillow, "I'll just wait till one of you need healing," I smile.
"Sounds the best honey," He says with a smile, "Be ready to jump in though."
"Always," I nod and look up at the sky, I look off into the distance as I notice a commotion ended, "Looks like Diane was fine, I think..." I say.
"It seems the other battles have ended. Though, I cannot fathom Dreyfus being so easily defeated," Hendrickson says.
"Fancy that! There's not a Deadly Sin that would go down that fast either!" Meliodas says with a grin.
"Still to charge enemy lines with no solid plan and only a handful of comrades... The Eight Deadly Sins must be losing their edge. All this effort is in vain. You cannot save her," Hendrickson says.
I glance at the battle and see Meliodas sending a blast to Gilthunder and Hendrickson, "That... That was faster... Than sound," Arthur says.
"You'll get used to his attacks, promise," I say and look off into the distance, "Excuse me," I fly off.
"Y/N?!" Meliodas calls out.
"I'll be fine! I'll come to find you later!" I shout and fly off.
I look around and see Harlequinn with a Holy Knight, "Harlequinn you okay?!" I shout.
"I got it!" He shouts back.
I nod and see Diane and Gowther with others in a barrier, I turn and fly off, "Where's Foxy?" I look around, "Something isn't right..." I mumble, "Don't tell me he's exploded and somewhere else?" I sigh.
"Y/N! Come back!" I hear Meliodas in my head and I turn back and fly back to where I was.
I land beside Meliodas, "Sunlight drop," I heal Meliodas and Arthur, "There we go."

"Why?!" I look over at a mage with hands on her helmet, "How long did you know about this?!" She points to Meliodas.
"You mean about Little Gil? When we were reunited in the Forest of White Dreams. I realised it was Margaret," Meliodas says, "He isn't the kind of guy who'd abandon justice to save his own ass," He adds with a little smile.
"How did you know we were keeping her captive?!" The mage asks.
Meliodas sighs, "Your eyes will judge the wicked. Your mouth will speak the truth. Your heart will be filled with justice. And your sword will crush all evil. I haven't forgotten the Knight Code since the first day I heard it," I say and Meliodas looks at me, "Gilthunder said that to me when he tortured me that's why I went without any issue, I mean seriously... Rope on a Sin? How stupid are you?" I look at Gilthunder.
"Didn't want to hurt you," He chuckles a little as he battles Hendrickson and I roll my eyes.
"T-that was 9 years ago!" The mage shouts pointing to me.
"Yep," I nod.
"He tortured you?" Meliodas asks.
"Well, that's what everyone thought, I just swung on a bar with a rope around my wrists," I shrug, "Didn't hurt all that much it was more awkward than anything else."
"I still don't get it," The mage says.
"But it's something else for Little Gil," Meliodas says, "It's a code between the three of us, something that we told him to tell us when he or someone was in danger or unable to do something," Meliodas says, "So it was easy to determine which one was the issue. When he recited the Knights Code in the Forest of White Dream, I figured it all out. I knew that somebody had been taken captive."
"You're lying! You both were battling to the death!" The mage says.
"Little Gil was putting his life on the line for the woman he loves. Putting my life on the line, was my way of being a good buddy," He smiles.
I grab Meliodas and fly out of the way as Gilthunder and Hendrickson get closer till their battle ended. Meliodas looks up, "Sup?" He smiles at Diane and Harlequinn.
I fly to Harlequinn and hug him tightly, "I was worried, you looked so tough," I tell him and Harlequinn hugs back.
"Y-Y/N, what happened here?" Harlequinn asks.
"I'll explain later, for now... We have to rescue Elizabeth," Meliodas says and I fly down to Meliodas.
I look around we the scenery keeps changing and the mage who was attacking yells but another mage appear behind her, "So it was you... It was you!! How dare you pull that stunt and humiliated me! You unsightly excuse for a mage!! I'll mope the floor with you!!"
"You still lose control of yourself when you get mad. How many times have I told you to do something about that nasty habit of yours? Vivian, my apprentice?" A familiar voice speaks.
"I figured it was you, though I never expected her to be with you, Arthur. She may the strongest in the kingdom, but you are dealing with Britannia's strongest mage," Meliodas says and I look at the familiar woman.
"It's been a long-time, my comrades," Merlin says.
"Merlin, there's a lot I want to ask you about," Meliodas says.
"I'm sure, but shall we get to the matter at hand?" Merlin asks and snaps her fingers then we appear outside a room.
"Where are we?" I ask and look at the large doors.
"We seem to be outside the king's royal chambers," Merlin tells us.
"We seem?" Meliodas repeats, "You're the one who brought us here, aren't you?"
"I was aiming to be inside the room, but we were repulsed," Merlin tells us, "Apparently this is the work of my unworthy apprentice."
"Sir Meliodas?" Elizabeth calls out from behind the door.
I hold Meliodas back when he goes to run to the door and break it down, "Meliodas, there's a reason we were bounced back," I say.
"Correct Y/N," Merlin says, "Even your power can't break this barrier," Merlin says and opens the door with ease, "Absolute Cancel," She smirks a little.
Elizabeth smiles at Meliodas, "Sir Meliodas, you came... You all came," She says.
"There, there," He says and pats her head, "You've really aged Barta," Meliodas says with a big grin.
"And you haven't changed a bit," King Barta says looking at Meliodas from his bed.
"So what will we do with Dreyfus?" Meliodas says and we turn to see him.
"Why did you frame us 10 years ago?" Merlin says.
"Quiet! You're the criminals who were conspiring to overthrow the kingdom! Everybody knows that you killed my older brother, Grandmaster Zaratras!" Dreyfus yells.
Margaret explains that she saw everything that happened to Zaratras when she went to tell Gilthunder, Vivian overheard them and that's how they were held captive by her. Dreyfus stays quiet, as he looking at the ground like he is fighting with himself over having the truth spoken in front of the King.

Milton
A Cyberpunk Coming of Age Tale The Apocalypse is ugly. The only lights that work are battery powered or neon. Scroungers kill your neighbors and take control of their bodies. Gang wars run rampant in the perpetual night, as usual, except now, most members have magical spells to defend their turf. Life certainly changed once the Rainbow Letters came. For Milton, things changed for the better. The world became familiar. He could find loot, learn skills, and equip weapons and armor. It was all much easier to understand than the perils of pre-Apocalypse life with its grocery shopping and going outside. Then he discovers Ragnarok, Orchestrator of the Rainbow Letters and all of Milton’s problems. The race to figure out why is on. If Milton is to survive long enough to find answers, he must first be strong enough to confront his worst enemy: himself. * This is work in progress and NOT professionally edited. * ** This story is humorous in the begining, but gets very dark around the turning point. Reader discretion is advised.**

8 149Cutting to Life: an NPC LitRPG (Battle Royale)
Nikola is an NPC in The World of Wills, a video game where players can feel sensations as if they were truly there. She leads a life of bloodshed and murder - that is, until one day she wakes up sapient. Just as she begins thinking real, non-scripted thoughts and making connections, she and the players in the game are told that if they die in the game, they die in real life - and it's time to get killing. But what of Nikola, the emerging AI consciousness? How does she win in a game that can only end in her being wiped from existence at the end of it all? - Updates Mondays and Fridays. Cutting to Life is a slow-burn LitRPG with a villainous (later anti-hero, or maybe still villainous, haha) female lead. It's told from the perspective of Nikola, an NPC within the World of Wills who's become sapient and is now mysteriously able to play the game as a PC. It's quite light for a LitRPG, but the system and stats become more of a focus later when Nikola herself can access them. The story gradually builds into a Battle Royale where the players' lives are on the line (if you die in the game, you die in real life), and only one party of savvy adventurers can win. They'll have to spend their time and stats wisely as dungeons promising rare gear float down from the sky - but is a legendary sword worth killing someone for, knowing they'll stay dead forever? - This story is told in third person, past tense.- This is a slow-burn LitRPG that spends a lot of time establishing its setting and characters, because I believe this will make for a better payoff in the end. As such, the Battle Royale doesn't start until chapter 30 or so.- Chapters are anywhere between 800 words and 3000 words long.- Book cover by Vixeona.Cutting to Life is also being posted on SPB and Scribble Hub.Thank you sincerely for reading.
8 186The Arcane Prince
Book 1 is complete and fully posted here on RoyalRoad. The story is on break as I work on Book 2, which will be posted once I have finished writing it. Max is a twelve-year-old boy from the slums who dreams of seeing the world, learning magic, and adventure. On the same day that Max learns his first spell, he meets Colt, a noble-born lad on his own path to power. Colt is kind. Oblivious to the world, but kind. By his grace, Max begins to learn under Colt's instructor, even hunting monsters in the forests to the north. Max is talented and grows in power quickly, but as he prepares for the first of his adventures, the kingdom faces the greatest threat in centuries. Posting Schedule: Every 3 days until the end of Book 1 (Chapter 45). IMPORTANT NOTES: 1) This is a story about an OP boy doing OP boy things. By the end of Book 1, there will be few fights that he struggles with, and he will rarely, if ever, find his life in peril. 2) This is a slice-of-life and adventure story, which means that there will be periods of chapters without any action or conflict, but also periods of chapters with battles and exploration/adventure (the latter mostly being Book 2+). 3) There will be NO petty squabbles or conflicts going on in this story, because it is meant to be a fun one, not a high-tension, drama-filled story. So it will NOT be that. If you want lots of action or lots of conflict, then find another story to read because this isn't it. 4) There will never be an overarching evil/villain/conflict to deal with in this story past Book 1. Ever. 5) Book 1 is entirely written and can be considered a standalone story on its own. Right now, the story may last 2-3 books, or it may last 7-10 books. It is guaranteed to make it through Book 2 or 3, and if I decide to go with the bigger journey I have planned after that, then it will be longer. There will be a several-month wait between Book 1 and Book 2. 6) The story contains the sexual content tag, but it will not contain any unless Max and his future boyfriend reach 18+ years of age in-story. If I decide to bring the story to a conclusion with Book 2 or 3, or they never reach that age in the full story for the long journey, then I will remove the tag. 7) There are currently absolutely no plans to make this story into a harem if I write the extended story. If I write the extended story and decide at some point to make it one, then I will add the appropriate tag and inform readers of this decision. However, there are currently zero plans to make it one. 8) This story takes place in its own story universe, with its own rules. Please keep that in mind when reading it and other stories.
