《Wolf Sin of Betrayal {Meliodas}》020 - Epilogue

The battle is over, Liones is rebuilt and Ban gave us the location of the new fairy forest and I was walking down into the basement of the castle, with Harlequinn, Diane, Ban, Gowther, Merlin, King Barta, Elizabeth and Meliodas. I walk behind Meliodas, "Are you sure we can seal it up?" Meliodas asks.
"Yeah, I'm almost positive," Merlin says, "Though we might drain ourselves of energy, so Ban, Gowther and King are here to grab us if we faint... But it is a normal faint nothing else that should be wrong."
"Let's just try and get it over with," I say and Meliodas and Ban open some doors. We see a crack in the air with a red demon's arm out, "Ew."
"You haven't even seen its face," Harlequinn says.
"I don't have to," I answer.
Merlin tells us where to stand and we hold hands, "Repeat this," She says and speaks in another language and we all repeat what she said as the crack closes. Merlin removes the dragon hilt, "I'll keep hold of this if you want Captain."
"No, I'll take it again," Meliodas says and takes the hilt, "I need a broke blade again," He says and Merlin holds a broke blade out to him, "Perfect," He attaches the broken blade to the hilt, "I'll sort it properly later," He looks at me, "Are you ready?"
"Yeah," I look at Barta, "If anything happens."
"I'll send word to the forest, straight away," He nods and I smile.
I sat downstairs in the tavern with Meliodas, Hawk, Harlequinn, Stephan, Merlin, Ban, Gowther and Diane (In human form) as Hawk's Mama travelled to the nearby destination for the forest. "What's the fairy forest usually like?" Diane asks sitting beside me.
"Bright... Green... Peaceful," I say and look out the window, "The perfect place."

"I agree," Harlequinn says and smiles, "I cannot wait to go home!"
"Calm down King," Meliodas says, "Or should it be Harlequinn?" He asks.
"Ki...King is fine, Captain," Harlequinn says and I smile at them, "What are you smiling at?"
"You used to be stuck with Meliodas, it was adorable," I grin and giggle.
"Oh yeah, I remember... You chasing Y/N with Elaine," Meliodas says and Ban looks over, "You both got me dragged into the game then shouted at," He chuckles.
"What was Elaine like?" Ban asks and we look over to him, "When she was a child?"
"The same as she was," Harlequinn says, "She got stronger than she was as a child, always beside Y/N, never leaving her side."
"That was both of you," Meliodas says and I nod, "Elaine was like the light of the three of them, she was bubbly, always running around and flying around our feet," He chuckles, "She was amazing."
"She was yes," I nod and smile, "She loved everyone around us and wanted to protect everyone including me, even though it is my job."
"Yeah, that's our Elaine," Harlequinn says.
"Yeah, that is our Elaine," I smile and look out the window, "Happy and bubbly... Always there for everyone around her who were her or our friends, if they weren't then she'd try to fight them."
"Yeah, that's the Elaine I know," Ban chuckles, "Anyway, we're here... We should get out so Hawk's Mama can bury herself in the ground."
"Sounds good," Meliodas says and we all walk outside then jump off Hawk's mama landing safely, "We'll be back soon Hawk's Mama," He waves bye and takes my hand as we follow Ban.
"Are you sure we're going the right way?" Harlequinn asks.

"Yes, I planted the seed," Ban says and stops walking then walks forward and we see the fairy forest, a brand new fairy forest.
"It'll still work," Merlin says and nudges me forward, "We'll wait here."
I nod and fly up opening the vile and flies over the kingdom sprinkling the content of the vile over the forest till it glowed gold.
"It's the Fairy Queen! She's back!" I hear a fairy shout.
I fly to Meliodas and the others, "Done," I smile and fly into the forest with the others following me.
Fairies poke their heads out, from behind trees, flowers and plants, "They're back!" A fairy whispers.
"Looks like everyone remembers," Harlequinn says.
"Of course," Merlin says, "The vile contained both Goddess healing power as well as Sunlight Drop. I had it in case of emergencies with Arthur."
"That makes sense," Meliodas says and brings my hand up to his lips then kisses my knuckles, "You seem happy."
"I am," I smile at him and go behind him, wrapping my arms around his waist, "Ready?" He nods and I fly up to the wise tree. I step onto the tree and walk to Elaine's body, "Oh Elaine..." I sit on my knees and Harlequinn follows.
"Ban said not to bury her just yet," Gerheade says and walks to us, "He wanted to keep her body out, ready for you both as well as so he had something to come back to see."
"I'd like to bury her," I say and look at Gerheade, "Please Gerheade," I stand up and look at Ban, "I'm sorry."
"It's okay, I understand... But..." He sighs, "I know, I'm sorry."
"No need to be sorry, I'm happy you did it," I smile and hug him, "She loves you, always and forever."
"Thank you," He hugs me back.
"Hands off my woman," Meliodas hits him over the head, "Not yours," I giggle and smile at him.
I fly around the kingdom with Harlequinn chasing me, "Catch me if you can!" I laugh.
"Get back here and do your duties!" He shouts, "Diane! Merlin! Ban! Help me!" He shouts as we pass the sins.
I giggle and fly around the forest with the four sins chasing after me. I fly onto the balcony of my room and rush inside then out of the room. I fall into Meliodas, "Wow, easy there," He says.
I lift up and pull him into a narrow corridor, "Shh," I put my finger to my lips.
"Why?" He asks.
"Stop talking," I giggle.
"Make me," He smirks and I lean in kisses him as the sins run past.
"Where did she go?!" Harlequinn asks.
"I don't know! The Cap'n might know!" Ban says, "Where is he?"
"I don't know, I bet they're together," Diane says.
I lean back from Meliodas who smirks, "That can shut me up, so why are you being chased... Again?" Meliodas asks.
"You make it sound like it's a regular thing," I smile at him.
"It is," He nods with a smirk, "What aren't you doing this time?"
"I've done all of my tasks and now I am bored," I tell him and smile, "So I sneaked away, Harlequinn saw me and thought I was skipping out then started chasing me. It was fun so I played along."
"You're such a child at times," He chuckles and rests his forehead against mine.
"You can be as well," I smile at him.
"That's why we're perfect," He says and kisses me again, "I love you."
"I love you too, forever and always."
"Forever and always," He says and smiles.

Joie de Vivre
A modern man chased immortality and found it. In a mixture of good and bad luck, he was re-born as part of the Uzumaki clan from the Naruto-verse, some few years before their scheduled destruction. But if Daichi were the sort to allow a little thing like fate to get in his way, he'd never have survived in the first place. Dedicated, intelligent, chock full of ideas from a technologically advanced society, and perfectly willing to scorch the earth, he sets out to avert history. Can he avert canon, save the Uzumaki, and forge his people into a mighty nation? Or will he fail, dooming his clan to extinction? At the end of the day, all he wants is a good life. And considering even Death itself didn't stop him, he pities whoever gets in his way. ================== Tags: Naruto, Reincarnation, OC, eventual multi-cross. ================== Author's (Brief) Note: Back by popular demand. This was my first significant fanfic (and fic in general). I wasn't happy with the writing as time went on, and took it down, but years later am still getting requests to put it back up so I guess some people liked it. Newly re-released as I finish some minor editing, there are about 100,000 words (~360 RRL pages) already written, so releases should be fast until I catch up with the backlog. That said, it may languish in hiatus at that point if the interest isn't high enough to merit continuing, so if you're the type to only read finished stories (or ones where the author promises to do so), I am very specifically not promising that. On the other hand, if enough people read, like, review, comment, rate, etc. then it will get added to my writing schedule. Generally, the character is based on a “how badass could someone who hasn't done ridiculously crazy shit be? Or, how does someone with the potential, in another setting, with a lot of luck, to be a badass act and develop as a modern, productive member of society? And then how would they deal with the Naruto-verse?” Please, please do not judge my writing by this. Unless you really like it, in which case fine, do, but recognize my other writing is likely better (unless it’s that one MTG/ASoIaF/SW fic I did over on SB as a speed-writing experiment, which is also pretty terrible).

The Helena Chronicles
Espers are really no different than humans; they look like any normal human and in general behave like any normal human. However, there are a few key differences. The max life expectancy of espers ranges from forty-five to fifty. They naturally have a knack for mathematics and are extremely intelligent in general, this is because their abilities rely on the subconscious and conscious calculations. They also have a mysterious energy source they call Focus that is generated naturally by all espers. The continent of Elestveeve is populated by three major factions, each a governing force. On the west of the continent, there is the Noble Houses that subscribe to the Deity Faith. The Houses ruling with the Deity Faith as council since the religion's founding four-hundred years previous. Controlling most of the northeast is WITCH, an organization ruled by powerful espers; claiming the mysterious Genesis as their capital, they are a whispered myth among much of the continent's less technically advanced residents. In the southeast you have Tech City, a towering monolith of a capital with four sky layers and metropolis' leveled deep underground; it is a city brimming with technical advancement and cyber integration. Each faction contends with one another for their evolutionary ideology, by devout religious worship to receive miraculous gifts, unique genetic lineage to obtain ESP, and technological integration to become something more than human. Helena, a young genius and esper, awakes in a dark room with only fuzzy memories and the company of seven other children. She must determine how she got there and how to get back to where she came from. Warning: Due to time constraints, I don't have the time to keep up on my three stories; therefore, Helena will need to go in a stasis chamber until I can find more time to write between work and life. I love my first girl so much! however, it seems she is the least popular among the fans (the poor girl T_T). This world is much bigger than my other two novels and I'm not giving up on it, but simply having to put her on ice.

Thaellis A Kingdom Down Under
A kingdom down under, once it had prospered, expanded, built, and conquered until all that they thought of worth was theirs. Peace ruled for a time the people absorbed in their own self-satisfaction. But eventually, old urges returned. Conquest called, though this time there was no outside outlet to turn it towards. So in ages so long and distant the memories most couldn’t recall, the kingdom turned upon itself. War raged for many years, no one coming close to being considered a victor, it appeared that this self-destruction would go on till nothing was left. Many if given the chance would have claimed that would have been a mercy for this kingdom and its people. For as they killed, and butchered each other over things they already had. Vibrations traveled through rock and stone guiding things best left alone. Creatures came things of horror armed to the teeth with claws, fangs, and armor. Cities fell and were consumed not even the bones of individuals remained, for these creatures hunger knew no limits, had no end. The kingdom rallied together once more, what was left, they fought and fought but their Nightmare had no end. Their greatest, brightest minds worked their magic, carved into stone. Wards they called them, this would keep their Nightmares away. They abandoned attempts to fight and focused on walling every surface of the kingdom with these Wards. It worked mostly, an illusion of peace returned, one that crumbled often, but it was better than before, it was a bearable hell now. So here we start our story as ages have passed for a walled-off kingdom, hunted by a never-ending Nightmare. With a poor but deserving soul born into this world.
