《The Devil I Love | Jikook Smut |》Chapter 2: An Angel

Ever since Jungkook created the studio, he only hired Yoongi first and then after a year, he hired Taehyung. Business has always been slow, but to think that the world was going to see so much more to Jungkook's passion, left the young photographer smiling through the pending stress that had yet to burn through his head.

Silently, he held his smile to himself and blocked out the sounds of Taehyung losing his mind due to how excited he was to see Park Jimin in person. Today was absolutely perfect and Jeon Jungkook couldn't help but to think back at all his hard work. This was going to be the moment where his dreams would finally take flight. He knew Jimin was a very generous celebrity and to have him visit the studio for a few sessions, was enough to actually occupy his mind.

"We should celebrate! Not today, but maybe after Jimin's photoshoot. Just the three of us; the original trio, right before I begin hiring more employees!" Jungkook claimed and watched Yoongi smile once more and nod his head.

"If my workplace doesn't call me in, I'll be happy to go!" Yoongi replied and turned to Taehyung right after. "Will you be available?"

"I hope so! I don't want to turn Jungkook's offer down. At the moment, I'm not so sure about it. But we'll have to see," Taehyung answered with a smile as Yoongi stood up and turned his head to the printing room that was also the camera surveillance office right next to the huge studio space.

"I'll need to print out these orders. We don't have much to print so it will be easy and we could send it out very soon," Yoongi announced and clicked a button on the computer before walking to the printing room. At that moment, Jungkook watched Yoongi walk until the door shut behind him.

"Could you be any more obvious, Jungkook?" Taehyung spoke into a whisper before snickering. "Not even when he leaves does he ever get a break from your stares!"

"Oh, come on... I was just-"

"Staring? Yes, you were. Haha, if you want to get closer with him, I can say I'm busy on Sunday and it will just be the two of you~ I wouldn't mind, but you'll owe me a drink after, understand?"

"I- No... that's not professional at all!" Jungkook retorted and watched Taehyung's smile shift into frustrated glare. "What's with the face?"

"Not professional? You're aiming for a friendship first, this is how it starts! Ah, I just wish you could befriend him like you did with me. It would be so much easier, but after two years, you still have yet to know him personally..."

"Yoongi... he's very distant and keeps his personal life separated from his work. It's one of the many things I admire from him. He's such a great worker that even when we're talking like this, he still manages to get things done! I could sit here and appreciate the many things he could do while still looking so cute!" Jungkook spoke softly and let out a sigh. "But at the end of the day, I only fall for what's on the surface. I know nothing about him..."

"You see, that's why you two should bond over drinks! I will sacrifice my spot and let you two have the night. You will thank me later, Boss!"

"No, don't call me boss, it makes me feel old!"

"Yoongi can call you 'Boss' but I can't? Ha, if anything, you are the last person to feel old, you're younger than all of us," Taehyung replied and stepped closer to the younger just to give him a playful shove. "Who knows, Sunday might be your best day ever. You get to take pictures of THE Park Jimin himself, and then go out to drink with the one who piques your interest. Look at you, getting all the good looking ones in a day!"

"Ah, Taehyung, don't say that... Park Jimin is only going to be here to support us. It's just business....right? Nothing more to it. Although, he is extremely attractive. I'm a little nervous to be in his presence."

"Me too! We're the same age as well. But, I don't think I'll have the ability to speak around him. The way that this man is painted and seen as is something far untouchable. He's too perfect... that's how everyone sees him but to me, I know something has to be up with him. I'm interested in knowing his secrets. I know he's not an angel underneath those smiles and soft replies. No one in the show business is that kind!" Taehyung mentioned and watched Jungkook let out a scoff.

"You can't be serious... I know he holds up a good reputation, but maybe that's how he is. There are people who are naturally a saint. I'm sure if Jimin wasn't, he would have been caught with all those eyes watching his every move! He's an angel, if he's not, then he's a good actor. Besides, I don't think he will behave any differently here so I won't need to feel so nervous! I still have yet to process this but when I do, I'll get so anxious."

"Personally, I don't think he's too powerful. If Park Jimin truly is an angel, I don't think he will give us hell for any of my imperfections. No one is perfect, Jungkook. Even if Jimin is loved by all, there just has to be something-"

"Well, he will only be here for one full photoshoot, so there won't be much to unravel from him. I'm pretty sure that if someone is trying to hold up an act, they won't break out of character even once!" Jungkook responded.

The young photographer never really thought he could even run into a famous celebrity like Park Jimin. At times, he did see him in advertisements on big screens or even on many busses he would find while he took his daily route to work. Heck, he would even take part in admiring Jimin's existence too. But, it was never to the point where he was convinced Jimin was absolutely flawless. No, Jimin must have had his flaws, but that wouldn't change Jungkook from seeing the man as an angel like everyone else would.

Later on that day, business became slow once again, so Jungkook sat in his studio and spun around in a chair while he could already imagine Taehyung and Yoongi conversing about the many things. Jungkook envied how easy it was for Taehyung to talk to Yoongi about anything. However, he knew Taehyung didn't have feelings for Yoongi, so there were no obstacles in his way.

In a moment where Yoongi didn't fill Jungkook's mind for a split second, Jimin suddenly surfaced in his head and the well-known celebrity stayed in the photographer's thoughts for a while.

"Park Jimin..." Jungkook thought in his head once more before pulling out his phone so suddenly to look up Jimin's name. Through this, he explored Jimin's past photoshoots online. His eyes were so invested at the sight of the perfect man, that he didn't want to look away. Jimin had the face of a literal angel; and that's where Jungkook knew where Jimin got his nickname from.

"Breathtaking...ah, I just hope I don't mess up any of your shots, Jimin. If I do, how will you react? You wouldn't get upset, would you? I feel like nothing compared to these professional shots..." Jungkook sighed as he tapped onto a photo of Jimin laying on a white bed and looking up with his tempting doe eyes. The way Jungkook looked into his phone as if Jimin was staring back, embodied an action Jungkook has never seen himself do in such a long time. He bit his lip and lowered his phone before he turned it off.

After that, the feeling wore off and he sat in place, running his fingers through his blond hair that had his natural dark silk color growing from the beginning of the roots. He remained there, pondering the sudden thought that came into mind. He never thought he could look deeply into a photo of a celebrity like that. Especially with one he had yet to see in person. Jungkook couldn't tell why he was so intrigued, but he knew well that it wasn't a problem since many had the same reaction towards Jimin. He was only one amongst the millions of fans that adored the angel.

As he continued to scroll further, he suddenly found a news article about Jimin participating in a charity event that day. That alone left Jungkook to smile at how pleased he was to hear how much of a kind soul Jimin truly was. It was enough to assure him that he didn't have to feel nervous around a kind soul like his, right?

Concurrently, a penthouse of an expensive building, sat within the heart of Seoul. Inside a bedroom, remained a young man dressed in a red silk robe that laid over the white bed sheets of a wide bed. There Park Jimin laid, resting his light blond and slightly curled hair against a matching red pillow as his face pointed upwards. He remained in bed with his eyes closed once his body was concealed with just the silk robe.

Carefully the angel opened his precious, brown eyes and pointed them to the long curtains that hid the windows far to the left side of the bedroom. As his eyes locked onto the curtains, he turned his body until it faced the curtains. Almost as if he longed to pull the curtains apart himself, but he held off from doing so. There he laid, staring off at the curtains that contained him in one dark room.

In seconds, the alarm clock on his phone began to ring. His eyes scrutinized and abruptly, there was a knock at the door.

"Jimin, your break is over, we need to get you ready for the charity event!" Shouted a man from behind the door. But to his surprise, Jimin didn't reply. He laid in bed and kept staring at the curtains far ahead. Ignoring the orders he was given. "Jimin? Hello? Are you awake? Ah, I told him to put an alarm clock this time..."

Just then, Jimin's phone began to ring in his hands. The moment the angel looked down at the screen, the caller ID flashed the name '', leaving the younger to let out a sigh and cover his face before answering.

"Hello?" Jimin's soft voice eased the Manager's worries as he heard an exhale from behind the door.

"Jimin, you know you can't scare me like that! Come on, did you forget you had somewhere to be? We agreed that you will have a short thirty minute break before the stylists arrive...."

"I... didn't take a nap. I couldn't..." Jimin whispered and with that he let out a sigh.

"Did you take your ?"

"No, I don't want to take them... it makes me feel nauseous.... I can live without it," Jimin replied and with that, the door opened right after. Leaving the boy to roll his eyes and hang up right after. "Could you knock before you step in, Namjoon?"

"Why would I knock? Your door is never locked, that's the number one rule you can't break. Your father's rules, not mine."

"I love him, but oh how I hate his rules..."

"Ah, listen, Jimin. You can't step off your medication like that. Listen to your doctor and your therapist and understand that this isn't something to ignore. It will make you feel better," the man named Namjoon assured. The tall and caring man stepped forward before putting his hands within the pockets of his formal dress pants. His look consisted of a white loose dress shirt, matching white slacks and expensive white sneakers. As he looked at the young man laying on the bed, he ran his own black silk hair back and tilted his head forward. "Come on, after this we can talk for as long as you like. I know how much you love to talk about anything!"

"That sounds nice... but, so much work today... I don't want to get up. I have no motivation... can't I reschedule?"

"I wish you could, but you can't afford to reschedule a charity event. Do it for the ones who need you, do it for your fans and to those who look up to you."

"I.... I understand..." Jimin finally replied and sat up before stretching. "Tell my stylist that I want to wear my sunglasses today."

"That's completely fine! Also, I wanted to let you know that the director gave the studio a call today," Namjoon spoke into a deep smile where his dimples were the most noticeable part of his daring complexion.

"The... studio?... The Golden Closet Studio?" Jimin spoke softly and that's when his doll-like eyes lit up. "The director actually called them and scheduled a photoshoot like I asked?"

"Yes, you know how hard it is for him to say no when it comes to you!~ You have the photoshoot on Sunday with the head photographer –well, the only photographer– Jeon Jungkook," Namjoon mentioned and watched a smile curl at the corners of Jimin's plump lips. Noting how this was the only real smile Jimin didn't force all week. The manager knew how happy the young angel grew when he noticed the talent an indie photographer like Jungkook had, so to support such a small business of his own choosing was what made Jimin feel as if he was actually heard when it came to requesting ideas for his own career.
