《The Devil I Love | Jikook Smut |》Chapter 3: Doe Eyes

After another slow day at work, Jungkook began to close up the studio. He stood in place as the gleam in his eyes moved at every glance he took around the empty studio. It was a wide room that took up most of the space for the other rooms, but it was all worth it. He made sure he chose the best studio space for his business and was always satisfied every time he would look back at the view. He was very hopeful and longed to see what this big photoshoot with Jimin would take him.
Once the clock struck eight o'clock in the evening, Jungkook finally locked up the studio once Taehyung and Yoongi left for the day. The young man then got into his car and finally sat in where the sounds of the wind howling outside, became muted the second he shut the car door.
"Ah, there goes another day..." Jungkook spoke to himself before placing his seatbelt on and switching on the radio to hear a recap of the news from earlier that day.
"Today marks the first day of the charity funding event for students struggling at home financially. This includes payments surrounding bills, food, school and so on. We were lucky to have many popular faces on board with the cause including the angel himself: Park Jimin!"
Jungkook looked at the station number of the radio on his car and tilted his head the moment he heard Jimin's name right after. Just today he received such great news about the famous model coming to support him and after that, he couldn't recall a second out of his day where Jimin was not mentioned at all. Of course, he had no problem with it. Hearing so much about Jimin left him excited to meet the kind soul. It was enough to soothe his anxious thoughts.
"Earlier before he attended the charity, we were lucky enough to catch him at the entrance and ask him one question about his thoughts on the cause. Please give it a listen:
At that moment, Jungkook leaned back against his chair and listened to Jimin's voice over his radio. In seconds, the soft and angelic tone to his whispers were enough to make Jungkook smile to himself without realizing the emotion he carried until he looked into his reflection.
"He's perfect... it isn't every day a celebrity gives back to a good cause, let alone, help small businesses too... What did we all do to deserve him?" Jungkook wondered and began to pull out of the parking lot behind his studio. "Even if there's going to be a lot of pressure on me for this photoshoot, I don't think he will get upset if they come out a way he didn't expect. I'm nowhere near the successful professionals that take his photos every day, but I will do my best and hope that I can get my business moving..."
Jungkook was lost in his own thoughts again as he drove home. He couldn't stop wondering what will come of Sunday. But as he thought of Jimin once again, the idea of stress slipped his mind. It was like Jimin relieved Jungkook's mind for the moment. No matter what, the young photographer was excited to photograph a famous model like Jimin. But until then, he couldn't let anyone else know until after the photoshoot. Just so fans wouldn't barge into the studio and demand to see Park Jimin. This was a secret Jungkook knew he had to keep from his family for now since he knew they adored his little successes to the point where they would bring it up to anyone who wanders into their restaurant. This was something Jungkook just couldn't afford to ruin.

By the time Jungkook reached his own apartment, he stepped in and removed his shoes at the entry before switching the lights on. Jeon Jungkook lived alone. Some people his age would still live with their parents, but Jungkook wanted to be independent so badly, he wanted to start his own life without holding his family back. He was destined to work in the family owned restaurant and live with his parents, but his passion for photography led him to create his own thing and become independent. However, he was lucky that his family supported his every step and are more than happy to spread his successes any moment they could.
As the days went by, business was slower than before, but Jungkook didn't mind. He knew that the endless days of nothing much to do at the studio would be no more. There were the occasional clients, but never enough to fill up the whole schedule for the week.
Eventually, days went by until the dawn of the Sunday morning finally came upon the studio. Jungkook made sure he was in the building very early in case there were any imperfections that needed fixing in his equipment. His heart was racing at every second the clock was ticking, the appointment was set at eight in the morning, yet, he was curious as to how this would all go down and let alone, how he would react to seeing Jimin in person.
Jungkook tried to soothe the stress pounding in his head. It was as if one moment his mind was still and calm, but the next it continued to spin! He sighed as he fixed the black tie over his white dress shirt, matching in his blue jeans and white sneakers. The young man tried his best to dress formally for this moment, but he didn't want to feel uncomfortable when it came to taking pictures. So, he threw on something much more his style.
"I knew I'd find you in the studio this early..." a voice called out to Jungkook right behind him; a familiar, deep, and calm voice that automatically made the young man blush.
"Ah, you know I have to make everything look perfect, Yoongi," Jungkook replied and turned around to see the older in a loose, pastel blue, dress shirt tucked into the black slacks and matching black leather belt. He gawked further and listened to the older's black and classy shoes tap against the marble ground until he approached the speechless photographer right after. "I see you still have the spare key to the studio..."
"Of course I do, you told me to keep it safe and I did. Besides, you worry too much, everything will be fine!" Yoongi assured and patted the younger on the back. "I didn't think you were going to be here this early but when I passed by the street after picking Taehyung up, I noticed that your car was parked around back and I had to pull in."
"O-Oh well, I'm here now... two hours early... yeah..." Jungkook replied and with that, silence filled the two as they ran out of things to say. But luckily, Taehyung stepped in and shoved the tension off Jungkook's shoulders so suddenly.
"Ah, I made sure I had enough beauty rest for today!" Taehyung announced, watching Jungkook turn to face him and showing how red his face was due to how flustered he became around Yoongi. "Eh... anyway! I have a good feeling about today!"
"Y-Yes, I do too! Maybe after today we can go out to drink and-"

"I hate to turn down the offer.." Taehyung interrupted with a smirk and a wink towards Jungkook while Yoongi began to pace around. Unaware of the plan the man thought out before.
"Taehyung.... no..." Jungkook hissed into a whisper, but the older man only raised his index finger up to press it against Jungkook's lips quickly.
"But I have a packed schedule for today! I'm afraid it will only be you and Yoongi. Maybe if I-"
"I was thinking if we could reschedule too, I have something to do as well," Yoongi spoke up and with that, Taehyung quickly slid his finger down from the younger's lips in shock.
"W-What.. what... what? What plans do you have?" Taehyung sputtered, leaving Jungkook to drastically turn his head over to Yoongi as he watched the older pace around.
"What plans do YOU have?" Yoongi questioned and left Taehyung searching for an answer.
"I.... I have to... wash my dog, Yeontan, then I have to visit my parents!"
"Interesting...."
"What about you, Yoongi?" Jungkook hesitated to ask and with that, Yoongi cracked a smile and turned around.
"I have a very important dinner meeting with a friend..." Yoongi replied and with that, he walked past the two. "Let's plan this another day, maybe a day where all of us can attend."
With that Jungkook let out a sigh once Yoongi left the studio space. He couldn't say that his hopes were ruined now, but he did feel a little disappointed after hearing that. Deep down, Jeon Jungkook was a little hopeful of Taehyung's plan and longed to have a night of bonding with the one he was interested in, but now that he knew Yoongi had other plans, he turned away from the entry to the vast room and face palmed.
"Ah.... I'm so stupid...."
"No you're not, Jungkook! You're anything but stupid, look at me!" Taehyung demanded. Quickly grabbing his boss by the wrists and staring into his eyes. "You are not someone who gives up that easily! Boost that confidence up and create small talk... you can do it!"
"A-Ah! When did you become so touchy?" Jungkook complained and snatched his own hands back. "I... I don't want to push this any further for the day. I'd rather just... leave it alone for now. I'm pretty sure it won't hit me until later."
"...you know, If you have that mentality, who knows? Maybe Yoongi's little friend might soon become his partner," the handsome man commented and left Jungkook to scoff right after.
"If this is your way of motivating me, it's not working..."
"Eh, worth a shot..." Taehyung replied before throwing his arm around Jungkook's shoulder. "I just want you to know that I don't want you to hide your feelings... if you keep walking so slowly, it will take forever to get to where you want to be. Sometimes, you just have to trust your guts and run for it or else you'll miss out on what could have been. I don't want to pick on you, I just want you to be happy."
"....I appreciate it."
"If it makes you feel any better, I can go out and drink with you later on tonight..." Taehyung offered, but Jungkook only shook his head before letting out a laugh.
"No, go wash your dog and see your parents!" Jungkook teased and shoved the older playfully. Allowing himself to bury his thoughts for the moment, but he was sure to face them later on tonight. He couldn't focus on the way he felt right now mostly since he had a long day ahead of him. There was no time to sit and contemplate for now.
Minutes flew past them and before they knew it, the hour had finally arrived. Exactly ten minutes before, everything was silent until Park Jimin's security guards stepped into the studio first. Abruptly, Yoongi stood up from his seat and looked forward; making sure his posture was fixed the whole time he stood before the guards.
After a moment, the door was held open and another security guard walked in before the short and ethereal young angel himself followed alongside his tall and daring manager. Time stopped for that very moment, the thought of such a powerful young man being in the same room as Yoongi left the man speechless as he watched Jimin walk in. Park Jimin wore a mask over his plump lips and nose while he wore sunglasses to hide his doll-like eyes and as for his hair, he wore a black beanie to cover the style of it completely. To top the look off, he wore an oversized sweater along with the hoodie over his beanie to ensure that he wasn't recognized by anyone.
Yoongi bowed and pushed down on a bell in order to call Jungkook without yelling. With that, he looked up and noticed Jimin removing his quick disguise due to the burning summer weather outside.
"Welcome to the Golden Closet Studios! We are honored to have you here today. My name is Min Yoongi," Yoongi introduced himself as Namjoon approached the front desk and shook the man's hand with a smile that deeply pushed down the dimples on his cheeks.
"Kim Namjoon; Manager. The director wanted me to thank you for accepting this appointment in such a short notice!" Namjoon introduced himself and once Jimin was ready, he stepped forward with the most charming smile he could ever give.
"Hello, I'm Park Jimin... sorry for not introducing myself the moment I stepped in! I had to take off the sweater, it's too hot outside for me to be wearing that!" Jimin apologized in a breathless response that left Yoongi silent at the sight of the beautiful being in his presence.
"O-Oh don't worry about it! It's such an honor to meet you, Mr. Park!"
"Please, call me Jimin... I don't mind a little causality in the workspace I-" in that very moment, his words were cut off as his doe eyes looked up to the entry of the lobby and rested his focus onto Jeon Jungkook. Someone he has been dying to meet since the moment he requested the studio to the director.
"I'm so sorry for the wait! I just needed to make sure things were ready," Jungkook apologized and bowed before even realizing that Jimin was already standing in his lobby. From the moment his eyes opened, he looked up and fixed his posture at the sight of Jimin standing before him. "Park Jimin, it's a pleasure to meet you," Jungkook spoke up and held his hand out, holding it with the other hand on the arm to give Jimin respect.
The angel stepped closer and smiled at Jungkook before meeting his touch with his own soft hand; carefully shaking it happily and looking into the young photographer's eyes with his own beautiful gaze. They locked eye contact for the very first moment and Jungkook just couldn't tell why his own face began to blush at the sight of the charming man. Was it because of the way Jimin's smile was only meant for Jeon Jungkook at the moment? or was it the all-white apparel Jimin wore that complimented his light blond hair? Whatever it was, Jungkook just couldn't stop blushing and looking into those beautiful, brown, doe eyes Jimin possessed.
