Back on the Enterprise that single kiss was the talk of legends. "Gwen do you think?" "Think what?" "After today and all. Dam I am not very good at this," she looked up into his ocean blue eyes and shy smile. 'Why Kirk? Why does she make you feel like this,' "James spit it out?" "What I'm trying to say do you think me and you could be a thing?" "I would like that very much." She sealed the agreement with a kiss but this one wasn't being interrupted like before. Heart racing she twisted her arms around his neck and he wrapped her legs round his waist, with all the women he'd slept with she was different. Gwen slid her hands under his tshirt and pulled it off throwing the now discarded clothing out of the way, "Woah easy tiger," she gasped as he sat her on his dresser.
By morning they awoke still intertwined in each other still relatively exhausted from the previous night. 'I could get used to this,' he thought, playing with her hair. "Dydh da," (hello) she muttered, rubbing his chest, "What did you say?" "Morning," "Ohh. I could get used to this. Waking up with you in my arms," "You really are a hopeless romantic, but it's working," "Someones in quite a mood?" "Why do you think," he pushed her down again nessling into her neck, "Easy does it if i turn up to work this morning with a hickey and after yesterday it will not be hard to put to and two together," "Okay but at some point i will mark my territory," "You can if you get off, i'm on shift in half an hour," Gweynneth laughed shoving him off. As soon as she tried to put a tshirt on Kirk wrapped his arms around her waist, so she put the tshirt on with him still inside. "Come on mr we both have work to do."

After a few songs for the bridge crew the Fisherman's Friends spotted Gweynneth lurking in the corner, "Yo Gills come on!" one shouted, "Gweynneth Rosenwyn Morvoren Congdon-Williams get up here!" "I think this calls for desperate measures, charge!" the fisherman climbed off the stage and picked up Gweynneth over their shoulders, "Dad put me down!" "No 3, 2, 1 throw!" she screamed as they threw her by her legs to another two fisherman, "Jack, George put me down!" "Never we remember when you were a little baby and your dad used to bring you onto the fishing boats," "Does she still sing?" "No not since i left Port Issac's children's choir which was 5 years ago now," "In that case give her a mic," "No no way I haven't done anything like that in years," "What about that song you wrote just before you left?" "Oh If I Die Young, that's not really a happy song it'll ruin the mood." they reluctantly agreed with Gwen not wanting to cause a scene for tonight, "Why did you leave Cornwall you said most people in your town had never crossed the Tamar?" "I left because my sister died, not just a sister she was my twin Cayla Kerensa (ker-en-za) Chesten Congdon-Williams. She died in a fishing accident, we went rowing to Lord issac's garden, she fell over bored and the blow against the dinghy was enough to kill her snapped her neck. Better that way i like to think, when she fell in we were in the rapids by the bay entrance. She was battered up so badly, I ended up calling the coast guard through siri. I packed up that evening and left for here the same day. We had both graduated from the academy and were both looking forward to serving but I just couldn't stay in that town any longer. I didn't even wait for the funeral. It's my fault we were mucking around and I was splashing her, she slipped because of me. If I hadn't splashed her, I would still have my other half. I lied. The last song I wrote was called better in stereo. It was about us," "That's another reason why we're here, she wasn't dead, only unconscious and as you cut contact we couldn't tell you, it wasn't your fault," "So your saying," "Finally you put two and two together."

James watched her eyes go wide as she looked towards her mirror image, "Cayla!" she gasped hugging her sister. It was two faces. Two bodies but one soul. "I would love to hear it,"

"I'm up with the sunshine (Let's go)
I lace up my high tops (Oh, no)
Slam dunk, ready or not
Yeah, show me what you got
I'm under the spotlight (Holler)
I dare you, come on and follow
You dance to your own beat
I'll sing the melody
When you say yeah, I say no
When you say stop
All I wanna do is go, go, go!
You
The other half of me
The half I'll never be
The half that drives me crazy
You
The better half of me
The half I'll always need
But we both know
We're better in stereo
You say it's wrong, I say it's right
You say it's black, I say it's white
You take a left, and I take right
But at the end of the day, we both know
We're better
You
The other half of me
The half I'll never be
The half that drives me crazy
You
The better half of me
The half I'll always need, yeah
We both know
We're better in stereo,"
Taking the initiative Cayla picked up the second chorus so her twin could sing harmony.
With the hype of the crowd she took the mic and took to the stage.

"I don't know who you think you are coming here, and acting like you don't care about anything. Now listen here Princess, because I'm not going to repeat myself. Here's a couple of rules that I'd like to enlighten upon you. Number one, you do not talk back to me. And two, you don't mess with me or the rules," his breath fans my face and I close my eyes. The proximity between us was terrifying. "I've dealt with many bitches like you, so I suggest that you follow those rules unless you want to end up like them," - he leans in. His mouth lingers near my ear, "used."... "... You might think that you run this place, but you do not run me. Understand? And the sooner you understand that, the better it'll be for the both of us," I warn staring right into his eyes before walking away. I was more than amused by his dumbfounded expression. I stop, and turn back around, facing him, "And one piece of advice, know what you're fishing for before you start fishing. What if you find a shark and it reels you in, instead?"⇒Highest rank: 1 in Chicklit on 01.08.16
8 130Who Fixes Books Anyway?
On the pretense of a raise, the relatively new employee Pernie is called in to talk with her superiors. NOTE: This is a short story written for a class I took recently. As a result of deadlines, it does not possess the quality (or length) that I would like and is rather thrunkated. Perhaps sometime far in the furture I'll fix it up. For now, I have much more important things to work on, such as my other fiction.

Book 2 in the Fire Series. Centuries ago she fell to Earth in a land of deserts. She lay in pools of molten glass where the sand had melted beneath her, with no understanding of what she was or from where she had come.
