You panicked as Namjoon blacked out in your arms, his head on your shoulder. He was too heavy for you to keep holding so you slowly brought him down with you as you sat on the ground awkwardly as it was in the middle of the road but it wasn't time to even care.
You used one of your hand to support him and the other to reach your phone. You called your brother and told him about the situation. After he managed to calm you down, you called the ambulance.
"Please be alright. Just please... be alright."

Namjoon woke up in an unfamiliar place which he soon recognised it as a hospital. He groaned in pain as he tried to sit up.
"Whoah Whoah what do you think you are trying to do?"
He stopped midway of trying and glanced at the side where you were seated. You stretched your arms out as you yawned. You rubbed your eyes with your fist with a small pout.
"I asked what you were trying to do."
"How long did I pass out?"
"Hmm..." you checked your phone and shrugged your shoulders, "Three days."
"Ohh..."
You got up and leaned in closer to him which made him flinch backwards in surprise. You placed your ear on his chest. He didn't know what to do. He didn't know what you were trying to do and all he did was just freeze and turned into a blushing mess.
You smiled when you heard the heart beating louder than before. You drew back and sat down again.
"It's beating normally again."
He blinked and looked at you in confusion. You pointed at his chest and he looked down.
"Ah... my heart."
You nodded and grinned which made him look away shyly. You tilted your head when you saw him rubbing his neck nervously.
You folded your arms across your chest.
"Why did you do that?"
He looked at you and shrugged his shoulders. He knew what you were asking.
Min and Seokjin had told you everything. It seemed like this boy tried to be a hero by sacrificing himself for your sake which you really appreciated and not at the same time.
You let out a sigh and held his hand in yours. He stared at your hands holding his and looked at your face.

"We will solve this without risking one another."
"I'm not sure if that's possible."
"Nothing is impossible if you believe in it."
"I hope so. I don't really know what to do. I don't want you to suffer because of me."
"I'm not suffering. This heart belongs to you. I'm your soulmate after all."
He was a bit taken aback when you said that. But soon his lips broke into a smirk, making you blush and you immediately regretted what you said.
"I knew it, little kitten. You fell for me since day one."
"Shut up."
••••••••••••••••••<>••••••••••••••••••
The two of you spent the time together in the hospital. You made sure he ate well and slept when he needed. Rest was definitely what he needed. You had also brought the flute but he refused to play it.
You didn't know what would be the solution without figuring out the entire situation.
It was night time and Namjoon had fallen asleep. He must had been exhausted from all the thinking and the medication must had made him feel drowsy. You watched him sleep as you used your phone.
You felt thirsty and reached for the water bottle only to realise that it was empty. You stood up and decided to refill it. You slid the door open and headed to the water cooler which was just a few steps away.
You hummed a tune as you filled the bottle up. Once done, you capped it on and headed back to Namjoon's room.
What you didn't expect was to see pink camellias on the side table. You gasped and immediately left the room again. You stood in the hallway and turned back and forth to scan the place. No one was there.
You sighed in disappointing and turned around. You bumped into a person and dropped onto the floor on your bum. You winched slightly in pain.
The person had stretched his hand out to offer you help. You grabbed it and he pulled you up. You thanked him as you dusted off your clothes.
"No problem, dear. Were you searching for me?"
You recognised his voice immediately. You looked up and blushed when you saw him with a warm smile.
"T-Taehyung-ssi."
"No need to be so formal. You can just call me Tae."
"Ah Okay... Umm Tae?"

"Yes dear?"
You wet your lips nervously and played with your fingers. You phrased your sentence properly so that it doesn't come out stuttered.
"You know all about this, right? How do we solve it?"
"I do know all about this and I do know how you can solve it but..."
"But?"
"I cannot tell you."
"What?"
You couldn't believe it. You felt like everything just went down to drain and you didn't like it one bit.
"You see. I'm a creator of fate and I'm not supposed to tell you the future since it could change anytime. In your case, the future which doesn't exist. You build your own future and all I can do is guide you."
"So you will help?"
He chuckled and nodded. You kind of felt relieved even though it's not much at least you would understand what exactly is going on.
"I'm not such a mean person. Well, you see. You need to first know everything. And you have to be willing to accept him no matter what."
"That is not a problem. Even if he did kill a person, I would still accept him."
He looked at you and bursted out laughing. You raised one of your eyebrow as you didn't know what was so funny about it. You were being serious after all.
He noticed that your confused look and cleared his throat to stop laughing. He ruffled your hair playfully with a boxy grin.
"Well, since you are cute. I'll tell you a way."
"A way?"
He nodded his head and lifted his forefinger up.
"Let him target you."
••••••••••••••••••<>••••••••••••••••••
When you went back, Namjoon was already awake and seated on his bed, messy hair and looking like a dead person who just revived from his grave. You walked towards him and he turned to the direction of the footsteps. He pulled you into a hug which made you shocked.
"Where did you go? I thought you left me."
You stared at the top of his head. You smiled and ran your fingers through his soft hair.
"I just want out to get some water. I didn't know you love me so much."
"Of course I do."
Your heart skipped a beat and your cheeks heated up. He giggled. You wondered how a grown man like him could make such a cute sound.
"Your heart is beating so fast. I'm not even playing my flute. It seems like someone loves me so much too."
You pulled him away and flicked his forehead. He touched his forehead and stared at you. You stuck your tongue out and pour yourself a cup of water.
"You want some too?"
He nodded and you grabbed another cup for him. You passed it to him and sat down. He thanked you and you helped to keep the cup away.
The room soon fell into silence as you went into deep thoughts. You knew it had to happen and you could at least try. This was the only way left and you wouldn't want to risk it.
Your thoughts were interrupted when he nudged you by the elbow.
"You okay, little kitten?"
"I saw Taehyung along the way."
"I guess so. I saw the flowers," he pointed to the bouquet on the table, "Did he say something?"
You nodded your head.
"Do you trust in fate?"
You had to start slowly. You shouldn't jump into the topic. The outcome has to be the one you wish. You were placing a bet on something that must become reality.
"I'm not sure. The entire time, fate had been playing. I can't say I trust it but it doesn't mean I don't believe in it."
You hummed in agreement. It's going smoothly for now.
"Then, do you believe in destiny?"
"It's kind of similar to fate but yeah I do. Destiny seemed more of something that is meant to be there and it also means there is control. Things are there for us but the present is what matters the most. It is the present which brings out the future anyways."
"Then-"
You were cut off when Namjoon sighed and turned to you. His expression showing that he knew something was off.
"What are you on about, little kitten?"
It seemed like he had noticed it but you couldn't stop now. He's about to take the bait and you couldn't afford to lose it.
"Just one more. Just one last question."
"Ok fine."
"Do you believe in soulmates?"
"Yes I do."
Your lips curved up into a smile, satisfied with his answer. This meant that you could now bring up the main topic. Everything else had just been an appetiser for the main dish. His answers definitely gave you the confidence and helped you make up your mind.
"Make me your target."

The Blackgloom Bounty
In the dark days before the end of the first millennium, Scotland (or Scotia as some called it) was a leaderless hodgepodge of tribes, clans and warring factions all bent on the same thing--domination of the land. Wizards, sorcerers and magicians still plied their trade, though much of their power had given way to the machinations of men and their war machines. To the south of Scotia lay the realm of the Saxons ruled by Ethelred the Unready and his ruthless minions. To the west, Ireland had just come of age. Everywhere else the constant threat of a lightning swift Viking incursion loomed over the land.Growing up in this lawless world is a displaced Daynin McKinnon, heir to an ancient familial keep on the island of Rhum. He and his grandfather Ean scratch out a living amongst the Saxons, careful never to divulge their clan heritage. That all changes when Kruzurk Makshare chooses Daynin as the ideal prospect to help him bring down a vile sorcerer named The Seed of Cerberus, ferreted away in his impregnable fortress at Blackgloom. Little does Kruzurk know that in so doing, he will launch young Daynin, himself and others on a vast, dangerous quest that no one could have foreseen. *****One Hollywood producer has dubbed this three book fantasy epic from Jon Baxley as, "BRAVEHEART meets THE LORD OF THE RINGS." Real places, people and events flesh out this fast moving, multi-faceted semi-historical series but fear not fantasy readers. There's more than enough of the magical, mystical mayhem you have come to expect from great fantasy. Romance readers, too, will enjoy the 'spice' in these characters--and there are a lot of them--both human and otherwise. And if you're into Viking lore, this series certainly is for you. When someone asks the author about his series, he answers with, “There were far more surprises in this tale than I ever expected and it's not over yet!
