from a burning building)

the flames were expanding throughout your workplace, the smoke making it hard to breath. "kara!" you shouted for her, hoping she had come to help. your lungs began to fill with smoke, so to better help it you collapsed to the ground in a laying position.

shouts were heard from outside, whether it was people or firefighters it gave you hope. "y/n!" your name was shouted from behind you. with a smile you turn around and see kara coming to help you, however, a large bunch of flames stopped her. freeze breath started to cool the area down but the fire started moving closer to you.

"kara stop!" you shouted and either she saw what happened and stopped or she heard you. the fires enlarged throughout the room, your heart beating faster every second. a window was behind you but the fall would've been too great. in an attempt to get at least some help you opened the window and shouted out of it. there was a bit of roof so you climbed out onto the roof to get out of the smoke.

when you stood outside you shouted with all your might, hoping for someone to hear your tired voice. "kara! someone!" your shouts were strained but you didn't want that to stop you. when you looked to the side you could see kara, looking worried as she was trying to figure out a way to save you.

"kara!" you shouted to her and when trying to make your way closer to her, you slipped. you grabbed a hold of the side of the roof, holding on for your life. heavy breathing came from you until you felt someone holding onto you. there behind you was kara, someone who is very close to you.

she sighed loudly, "i thought i lost you for a second there." you smiled a little as you both started floating to the ground. "i know you would help me."
