"are you seriously about to leave town with that piece of trash." My mother yelled out as she watch me fold my sheets "you don't even know this man well enough.. it's been what two weeks?."

"Listen ma' if anybody should try to find me i want you to know I'm where i wanna be at , i left my room all clean and tidy." I shrugged my shoulders as i walked over to my dresser and threw my clothes into my suitcase.

"I told you about being so naive every since grandma died you've been acting so dumb and just go to trusting everybody ya' know i bet he doesn't know about the pills huh?."

I rolled my eyes and sighed . I leaned against the dresser and looked over at my mom "just please don't come searchin' for me."

i heard her sobbing and i simply continued to throw all of my clothes into my bag . Once i got done i grabbed my suitcase and headed out the door and got into the car with Adonis

"How was it? The first time i met your mom she called me a worthless shit." he chuckled while starting up the car.

I ran my fingers through my hair "honestly , i don't know why she's like that." I shrugged my shoulders and looked out the window "where we going to?." I closed my eyes and images of my grandma flashed inside my head i could hear her soft voice speaking to me but i couldn't make out what she was saying.

i felt a heavy hand place on my thigh and my eyes shot open "did you hear me?." Adonis said while glancing over at me.

I shook my head and frowned "I'm sorry no , what'd you say?."

"we going to the sea of trees." He mumbled .

I turned facing towards him and brought my knees up to my chest admiring his features . His voice was sweet like my grandmas , the way he smiled was like my grandma , you were handsome and my grandma was beautiful.

"Sea of trees? i always wanted to go there .. people say it's where people commit suicide." I twisted my lip to the side "let's see if we making out of the sea of trees." I mumbled

"we will trust me." He turned into a near gas station "I'll be back i gotta get gas." I nodded my head and watched him get out the car

I looked through my bag and finally found the bottle of pills , i popped two in my mouth and swallowed and looked out the window enjoying the scenery .

I leaned my head on the door and closed my eyes as i breathed in the fresh air . My mind instantly went to the thought of my grandmother and how she would take me driving everywhere with her just to clear my mind .

I could here her calling my name and i could see images her pop up inside of my head.

It happened five years ago but yet i still feel as if it happened yesterday I was afraid to let go . I didn't want to forget about her existence at all .

"you okay?."Adonis asked as he got back inside the car . My eyes shot open and i forced a smile and nodded my head

"Remember your only job is to have fun and be free . Don't spend so much time thinking and just do it." He stated as he started up the car.

I chuckled as i ran my hands through my hair "alright Nike but listen i did some research about the sea of trees awhile back." I grabbed my notebook from the dash board and looked through the pages.

"Oh word? tell me it miyo." He stated

"A couple years ago my grandmother was telling me about the sea of trees , known as the Aokigahara Suicide Forest or jukai right." I stated

He nodded is head "I'm listening to you."

"Up to 105 bodies are found there each year and the forest is so dense it's easy to get lost in but luckily we have a map and also people try to camp there which we will be doing tonight." I continue to read on and we continue to talk about the sea of trees

we finally arrived at the sea of trees and we spoke to a couple of the police officers to let them know we were going inside to camp and explore , they took notice and told us to give them a call if anything suspicious happens.

"Let me take a picture of you before it gets real dark." Adonis took out his phone and pointed his camera towards me "and it gets real dark real quick." He stood straight up and snapped a picture of me "picture perfect." He mumbled while kissing me on my forehead and showing me the picture

"no phones until we reach our destination." Adonis stated while turning off his phone and placing it into his bag.

"I agree so we can actually enjoy each other's company." I mumbled while tossing my phone into my back we followed the trailed and spotted a sign

"Your life is a precious gift from your parents and " please consult the police before you decide to die." Adonis read out loud as he touched the sign "it's sad people decide to kill themselves." He mumbled

"Right." I mumbled while shifting uncomfortably. i could feel positive energy and i felt so bad . "Those people who committed suicide could've still been alive."

"Why is that?." Adonis said while glancing back at me while cutting on his flashlight

"They just needed help." I shrugged "they felt like the only way to find happiness was to end it all."

"How do you know all of that."

"I hear them talking." I chuckled while scratching my head "I'm connected with nature on different level and usually people would sense bad energy if they were out here but i don't." I shrugged my shoulders.

"Yo that's mad amazing so you hear spirits talking or some shit huh?." Adonis stopped walking and turned around to me

I could hear my grandma saying something along with other voices "just know we are protected by my guardian angels, just imagine a big great white bubble around us . god sent angles to cover us so we won't get hurt." I smiled as i gripped the straps on my back pack

Adonis chuckled and put his dreads into a ponytail while smirking "you're a angel and your honestly blessed. when we get to our spot you wanna do meditation and then yoga? I could do sage as well just to clear any negative vibrations and energy."

"Absolutely, I'm lowkey lucky the universe brought us together i would've been stuck at home or work."

Adonis pulled out his Nikon and took pictures of the scenery "it's so beautif–." He was cut short by hearing a loud scream." the fuck was that." He mumbled while placing his camera down

My head shot towards where the noise came from and i started walking towards the sound "let's go get her." I blurted out , Adonis grabbed my arm roughly and i looked back at him "whoever that is needs me."

"Are you sure? We don't know what or who that was and we'll be off track if we take that path." He mumbled with a frightening look on his face

"Remember i said imagine a white bubble around us , that's the only protection we need." I mumbled , he removed his grip from my arm and sighed and i continued to follow the sounds of the screams

I would look back every now and then and see Adonis walking with his arms crossed across his chest and a frown on his face

The screams got louder and i moved the bushes out of my way and see a girl sitting in the middle of open space and she cut her self.

I sat my bag down and slowly walked over to her "hey , don't do that . You don't wanna do that okay.?" I mumbled while holding my hands up so she wouldn't think i was going to harm her

tears filled her eyes and and she dropped the cutter while falling forward and sobbing.

Adonis dropped his backpack and walked towards us "hey what are you doing out here." He came up besides me and side eyed me dude

The girl looked up at us and wiped her eyes , she shrugged her shoulders "to end all of this shit , i don't know."

"What's your name?." I asked while slowly taking a seat next to her , i grabbed the cutter and handed it towards Adonis.

He grabbed the cutter and looked at it . Blood was dripping from the blood "my name is penny." She mumbled

"Are you okay?." We both asked at the same time

"I think you saved me." She stated while looking me in my eyes. " i wonder if i would've died , would it would've made a sound in the sea of trees."
