"i think i should just buy lou some vans..? he hasn't worn them forever!" harry spoke, looking at the wide selection of vans we stood in front of.
"yeah, that'd be nice." i nodded, sipping my slushy.
"okay.. z! help! i don't know what colour to get louis." harry giggled a little. his giggle was adorable.
okay now i'm starting to think that perrie can see right through me!
"aha. okay harry." i smiled. very widely.
"your smile is lovely." harry exclaimed, blushing.
"why thank you harry." yours is lovelier. i wanted to say that so badly.
"anyway.. so louis would look nice in the red ones. he has the checkered ones.. and i'm pretty sure the white ones.." harry pulled out louis' shoe size.
"oh i hope they fit." harry sighed, going to cash them out.
"don't worry haz. i'm sure they will." when harry finished cashing out, we walked out of the store.
"oh!" harry looked into one of the stores to see a t-shirt with red, white, and black patterned t-shirt.
"that looks like it would look really good on you z!" harry grinned.
i ruffled his curly hair. "okay haz.." i laughed. harry always made me laugh.
"i'm going to get that for you z." Harry walked into the store and pulled it out in my size. after, he cashed it out and handed me the bag.
"a little gift for my best friend." harry spoke, starring into my eyes.
"thank you haz." i wrapped my arms around him, pulling him into an embrace in front of the store.
harry nuzzled his head into my shoulder and mumbled something, but I didn't hear.
i just wanted to stay in his embrace all day.

we finally let go and walked downstairs.
"time to go home?" harry asked me.
i nodded.
"sure haz." i grasped his hand, and we walked towards the door.
before we could leave, harry stumbled across a photo booth.
harry and i have taken so many photos in many different photo booths together.
i always loved seeing his little dimple when we smiled.
it made me so happy.
"zayn! let's take a photo!" harry dragged me into the photo booth.
"what the heck?!" i chuckled. this was a complicated photo booth.
"they're normally so easy!" harry tried pressing buttons, and finally harry got it right.
it started the countdown.
1
i wrapped my arm around harry's shoulders and put a thumb up.
2
harry smiled with his teeth, his lovely dimple showing making his smile even bigger and beautiful.
3
the photo snapped.
we stayed in that position for a little, until as soon as the countdown went to 2, harry cupped the sides of my face, pulling me into a kiss.
the photo snapped again. i probably looked like an idiot as my eyes were wide open and my cheeks were burning red.
by the third photo we kissed even more, but my eyes were closed now, and i had calmed down.
harry tasted like cherry slushy.
harry entwined his fingers in my hair and ruffled it around.
before anything got out of hand in the photo booth, we parted.
"jesus." i breathed.
harry caught his breath as well.
"wow." harry sighed. "you were good z."
i blushed. "uh.. thanks.."
you were even better.
the list of things i wanted to say to harry was endless.
i couldn't though.
we bought 2 photos and stepped out of the booth to fetch them.

i looked at them.
"uh.. time to go h-home?" i asked harry this time.
"yeah.." he didn't grab my hand as we walked out.
i didn't grab his either.
the car ride home was silent. all i could think of was the kiss.
i glance at harry. he was starring at his photos. his eyes didn't come off of them.
the radio played quietly in the back around.
i finally got to harry's house.
"bye zayn." he didn't call me z.
his smile was very small.
"bye harry." i didn't call him haz.
i watched him walk into his house. he didn't even turn around to wave. the door slammed.
i drove home.
what if I actually liked that kiss harry and i had shared?
