The next day Peter was back at the bakery, Gal came in that morning looking for his freshly made bread. Around noon time he heard that bell ring but it sounded sweeter. A lady walked in wearing a red cloak, her hood was covering her face so I couldn't see her face.
"Hello, I would like a cake please" she asked but sounded sad and gloomy. As she was talking she never looked at Peter but instead at all the cakes and breads around the shop.
"Of course, what do you want it to look like"
"Just make it white with pink flowers, it doesn't have to be special at all" she answered him.
"Okay, how big" Peter asked writing all of this down.
"Big, has to feed a lot of people" she said, still hiding her face. Her voice sounded so familiar but he couldn't tell who it was.
"Okay, and what will be the flavor of it" he asked
"Make is white on the bottom layer, then chocolate, and keep that same pattern." She said.
"Can I ask what the occasion is for" he asked
"Sure, I am getting married" she said
"Oh, how wonderful" he said trying to sound very happy but he truly was sad inside.
"You don't have to sound so excited about it" she said but he did not see that coming for the mouth of a young lady about to be married.
"You don't sound so excited" he said
"I can't believe I am telling you this but I am not. I don't want to marry him but my parents are making me. At first I told them I would never marry him so they punished me, as crazy as this sounds, into a tower guarded by a dragon. And told me 'I can marry the man who rescues me'. I was in that tower for a good 4 months until about a week ago. The man they arrange for me to marry was the man you rescued me and it was all a set up to make it look like I was winning this battle but it was just a silly lesson they made me learn and now I have to marry him." She said ranting off and on.

"Was the dragon blue?" He asked
"What" she said and turned around to look at him for the first time and he could see her face. It was the same dreamy eyes that he dreamt about, it was Elena.
"Peter? You still work here" she said taking her hood down.
"Of course, were else would I be" he said laughing
"I don't know, maybe school or traveling" she said smiling. "Wait, how did you know the dragon was blue?" She asked
"I got your note inside the bottle, then found a sailor to sail me to the island where you were being held only to find out you were not there" he said.
"You found my note" she said this as joy filled her eyes and ran closer to the counter.
"I can't believe out of all the people you found my note." She said cheerfully laughing.
"It was hard to convince my parents to let me go but I just left one morning to find you" he said.
"Wow, hey sorry to change the moment but do you remember that one day in the summer you spent the whole day teaching me how to swim."
"Of course" she said laughing
"I don't know why, but that memory just popped up in my head like it happened yesterday" she said feeling warm and happy, which she hasn't felt in a long time.
Without saying another word to each other they both leaned in closer to each other over the counter, closed their eyes, and kissed each other. The kissed felt so magical on both ends and once again, Peter could feel is heart glowing like the sun did that day with the pirates.
When they were done, Elena opened her eyes and laughed "I don't know why I haven't done this sooner"

"Same" he said and they were going to kiss again but then the door bell rang and in came walking the King who had not been there since his wife's death.
"Elena? Peter?" He said in confusion.
"Daddy, I don't want to marry Richard anymore. I love Peter and want to be with him for the rest of my life" she said standing her foot firm to the ground.
"What?" He said and his face was like a jigsaw puzzle, all confused. "Well, Peter..." the King started to saying hoping he would say something.
"I love your daughter and want to spend the all the good and all the bad times together with her for the rest of my life and would feel incomplete without her in my life" he said
"Well, I just don't....(he paused and his troubled the both of them)...how I am going to break this to Richard easily" he said. "If you truly love Peter and he makes you happy and that is all I want for you my dear. You have my blessing" he said
"Oh thank you daddy" she said running to him and giving him a giant hug.
"And kids, that is how me and your mother fell in love with each other" Peter said to his 3 girls and 2 boys all circling around him for story time.
"That was so sweet. I want to hear it again" Sophia said
"Maybe another night. I think it is time to go to bed" Elena said
"What?" They all wined.
"Yes, you mother is right. Go out on your PJ's and we will be there soon to kiss you goodnight" Peter said and the kids all jumped up to go put on their PJs making race of course.
"I do love that story, no matter how many times you tell it" Elena tells Peter then kisses him. "I love you."
