" This is the retake of my life , I was his star for many nights now the roles has changed and Your the leading lady in his life" my mom and I belted out the lyrics of Whitney Houston's song.

We were driving back to the city and got stuck in traffic, so we made the best of it you can't go wrong woth karaoke.

" I want to see that Brandon of yours when we get there, I need to tell him what's on my mind" she said with a lot of attitude and aggression.

" And then you'll get me fired" I ate my mixed fruits and watched as cars slowly moved which was getting annoying.

" You have helped this man build his own empire, but why haven't you built your own? And you have loved this man for so long ... Brandon this , Brandon that what about you?" She questioned .

" I don't know " I honestly never thought about it so my mind was blank when she said these words.

" Listen to me pickney ( child) if you don't set yourself straight, your not going to reach anywhere . Let this situation be a lesson and start investing in your self" whenever she spoke patois she was serious or angry. The traffic started to move faster and in no time we were home.

" I will" it was still raining and it was nighttime, so we decided it would be best to get a good nights rest.

We were drinking champagne and watching some TV show called Friends, which I found boring, but it made Greta happy.

" Babe refill my glass" she shoved it in my face and I complied. It was a rainy night and some hot cocoa would be nice right now but Greta didn't want that, something about too much calories.

" Let's do something else" I kissed her neck but she just shoved me away and I groaned in frustration.

" We have been over this Brandon , I'm not ready" I sighed. I don't know how Greta does it, but I surely couldn't.

" A little foreplay won't hurt Greta" I tried to reason with her but she wouldn't budge.

" This conversation is over" and she laughed at whatever the actor said on the TV.

So I laid in the couch and slowly fell asleep.
