Rihanna's POV

I woke up to the smell of food , so I ran to the kitchen not caring if I was still in pajamas and I haven't brushed my teeth. When I got there, diffrent dishes were set on the table and each made my appetite got bigger.

Pancakes

Bacon

Sausages

Waffles

Scrambled eggs

Coffee

Fruits

I licked my lips at the sight , Mom went all out.

" Yuh figet yo manners" her voice was stern as she spoke patois again. (Translation:"Did you forget your manners?"

"Good morning Mom" I kissed her cheek and shared myself a plate.

" Rihanna why is your kitchen filled with so much American food? No little ackee, yam , salt fish (codfish) nothing" she complained as she searched my cabinets and refrigerator.

" I only cook Jamaican food once in a while" I told her. I loved our culture but it takes time to cook and I really didn't have much of that.

" Well you're going to bring me grocery shopping today , so eat and go get ready" she walked over to the couch and turned on the TV to watch church sermons.

I took a shower and got dress in light blue ripped jeans, a white tank top and some white sneakers to top it off. I got my hair in a messy bun along with some hoop earrings and a little bit of makeup.

My confidence was feeling up so I decided to take some pictures and post on instagram.

" Rihanna are you ready?" My mom was dressed in a white dress with white sneakers.

Great minds think alike

" Yes mom , You look fantastic " she gave me a twirl and I cheered her on.

" You know your mama always dresses the best" she laughed.

We drove to the mall and decided to have a shopping spree. I had money a whole lot , I don't have much responsibilities and still budgets as much as possible.

We shopped at over fifteen different stores and made alot of trips to the car , we decided to get Wendy's and head back home. While driving I thought it would be the best time to share with my mom about what I was thinking about last night.

" I want to buy a house" she was shocked by this and started chanting praises to God.

" That's great sweetheart and I also think it's time for you to start dating" she took a sip of her coke and stared out the window with a mischievous grin on her face.

" But ..."

" But nothing I'm not getting any younger and I want grandchildren even though this body is immaculate " she argued.

" Okay " when we got home I saw Brandon's car infront of the building.

Getting out of the car , he got out from his own and walked straight towards me, but then my mom did the unexpected.

She charged at him

" Mom!" I shouted but it was too late she already hit him in the head with her purse.

" You've got to be kidding me" There Brandon was unconscious on the ground and my mom with a not so sorry look on her face.
