As I read everything in the file I can't help but reread everything again just to make sure I read that right. Felix can see the dead just like me. How is that possible? How did I miss this? I honestly thought I was the only one..
I don't have time to think about this I quickly put the file back and as I'm opening the door to leave I bump into the receptionist.
"O sorry" I say and try and not look guilty
"You find it?" She asks me a little annoyed
"Yeah I did. See you at my next session" I quickly say and leave
What's going on? Felix can see ghost like me and now because I told him to talk to someone he gone.
As I'm walking home, I swear I feel like there's a car following me. I start to walk faster and the car starts to speed up, I then start running. The car easily chases up to me and the driver rolls down the window.
"Jess it's me jared" Jared says and I slow down
I look at him with tears in my eyes, he parks the car out of traffic and gets out. He comes over to me and hugs me knowing I need it.
I hug him as if he was my dad.
"Are you okay?" He says as he pulls away
I look at him and shake my head "Felix" is all I can get out
"I know" he nods and I take a step back because how does he know
"How would you-" I start saying but he cuts me off
"I'll explain in the car" he says and walk back over to the driver side
I know I shouldn't get in but if he knows anything that can help Felix I'll do it.

I get in and he starts driving.
"What do you know?" He asks slowly like he doesn't want to say to much
"What do you know?" I ask back accusingly
He sighs like he was expecting this "listen I know this is going to be hard to believe but you can trust me but I need to know what you know about Felix and I'll tell you everything I know"
"You won't believe me" I tell him
He looks at me with a smirk "I know that you can see ghost" he says and my heart stops because how does he know that
"H-how?" Is all I get out
"Because I can too" he shrugs like its no big deal
"No way" I shake my head not believeing it
"What like your the only one?"
"How do you know I can see them?" I ask him
"Because uh this sounds weird but I can just feel it" he says like he doesn't know how to put it, but I do somewhat understand because from the moment I met him I felt a connection for some unknown reason
"Do you know about Felix" I whisper
He nods "yes"
"How long?"
"For awhile" he sighs "but he didn't know what was going on and I've tried to become his friend without flat out saying what was happening to him but he's not the easiest person to get close too"
"Tell me about it" I say under my breath "why are you telling me now?"
He gives me a sad look "because I know where he is"
"You know they put him away?" I say looking at him and waiting for him to answer
"I've been keeping a close eye on the two of you" he says sadly
"This is insane" i say as I get my hair out of my face "I want to know everything?" I ask him
