"Hey Heather," Ian says. He sitting next to a hospital bed, where Heather is sleeping with the device that trapped her inside Fusion Online. She is being monitored by the usual hospital devices. The room itself isn't all that amazing. Once you enter the room, It has Heather lying in bed on the right side of the room, a window directly in front of the door, the bathroom to the left, which is in front of Heather's bed. Ian holds Heather's right hand, and squeezes it gently.
"It's been about two weeks now. Still not sure why you're still stuck in the game...." Ian says, a bit sad. "Anyway, I met Connor and Max today. They look just like they did in the game." Ian talks about the people he's met lately. "My cousin won her fencing tournament last weekend. She looked so happy. I guess she must have practiced a lot." Ian chuckles softly. He looks up at Heather, who is still asleep. "I just wish you were here already." Ian sighs, but smiles shortly after.
The door to the hospital room. Ian looks up and sees a man, about the age of 46 and is 6 feet 3 inches. Ian stands up from his chair and the man walks towards Ian and Heather. "Hello, Ian." The man greets in a small cheery tone. He is wearing a black suit, black pants, and a red tie. "Good afternoon, Mr. Rogue." Ian greets back with a smile. The two shake each other's hands quickly. "Ian, you have no idea how thankful I am for taking care of my daughter. I just can't thank you enough either." The man says. The first time they met, he found Ian in this room. Of course he didn't believe the stories Ian told at first until the day Artie and Darcy came with Ian to visit Heather. Once Artie and Darcy confirmed the stories Ian has told, then Mr. Rogue starred to cry in joy that he was able to find the person that helped Heather survive.
"It's alright sir, there's no need to thank me." Ian says. The man tried to repay him money for helping out. Ian simply cut the amount in half, giving the man fifty percent back and the money he got was used to pay for Ian's cousin's new fencing material, and for the rest of Ian's medical bill. He has five hundred left over, which he has kept for other reasons.

"Ah, humble as ever. Anyway, I can to drop these offs." Heather's dad says, putting a bouquet of flowers next to a small table next to Heather's bed. "They're lilies, a few purple lilacs and other flowers she liked as a girl." Mr. Rogue says.
Suddenly, a teen enters the room. He's wearing a black suit and pants with a blue tie. This teen is no other than Calem. Ian wants to rip him in half for everything he has done. The second thing Ian did was report Calem to the authorities. The police couldn't arrest him, because there wasn't enough evidence, and four other people that helped with the game were already arrested.
"Hello, Calem!" Mr. Rouge smiles at seeing him. "Hello, Mr. Rouge." Calem replies. He smiles at Ian, while Ian keeps a straight face. "Ah, I heard you two meet in the game." Mr. Rouge says, assuming that the two are friends. He is horribly mistaken, but Ian can't do anything. "Yea....something like that." Ian mutters under his breathe. "Friends! We are more than friends! We were in the same team and we helped each other out. I was practically his mentor!" Calem says, acting like he and Ian were friends.
"That's good to hear." Heather's father says as he looks seriously at Calem. Calem looks back at Mr. Rogue. Ian was confused as to why they were serious all of the sudden. Mr. Rogue sighs, "when's it going to be?" He asks. "Why, next week Sunday that is." Calle answers as he walks to Heather. "I mean, your company needs a heir right? So I will more than gladly help out with that. And I'm sure Heather would agree too." Calem says as he moves some of Heather's hair that was covering her small ears. Ian wanted to punch him for touching her. Ian restrains himself with a long exhale. "I sure she would too. It'll be on Sunday then." Mr. Rogue says. He looks back at Ian. "You're invited as well. You did save my daughter after all." He says. "Well, I have to run now. If I stay I might be late for a meeting." Mr. Rouge says as he leaves.

"What were you two talking about." Ian says in a slight, threatening tone.
"Oh Ian. If only you knew. I'll tell you anyway," Calem looks at Ian with a smirk. "Me and Mr. Rogue were just discussing my weeding with Heather." Calem says with a evil and victorious grin. This news shatters Ian's heart, like a room of mirrors that suddenly tipped over. "He thinks we got married in game, since her game profile says marriage. I was lucky enough to Warsaw you as the husband, and replacing my name for yours was not so easy." Calem keeps going with his chat. Ian, however, was staring at the floor, his eyes wide open in disbelief and sadness.
"Anyway Ian, I have to run. I have things to do. Catch you later." He says as he walks away, leaving Heather and Ian in the room. Ian slowly sits down on the chair next to Heather's bed. His eyes wide open in shock. "H-he can't....," Ian softly says, "...Heather wouldn't allow it." Ian looks at the girl laying in the bed. His beloved girlfriend will be taken away, and there's little to nothing Ian can do.
-----
Ian walks to a small cafe store, his spirit being lower than the deepest part of the ocean. He takes a seat in the bar section, and rests his elbows and arms on the counter table.
"What's wrong, man?" Connor asks, walking up to Ian. Connor and his family own this small cafe, but he's the only one working tonight. Ian looks up at him, and Connor can already tell that he's extremely sad. "Something happened to her?" Connor inquires. Ian nods slowly. Connor softly chuckles, which Ian takes deep offense. "How the fuck can you laugh!" Ian exclaims, taking offense at what Connor is doing.
Connor grabs a game case and slides it to Ian. Ian grabs the game case and looks at it. "Why is there a Artificial Reality Game in your café?" Ian asks. "Open it." Connor tells Ian, and Ian does as he says. Ian's eyes widen as he sees a picture of a large bird cage, about the size of a two bedrooms, and it is sitting on a large tree branch. This wasn't what caught Ian's attention. It was that inside the cage sat Heather on a white wooden chair with a matching table in front of her, and far in the distance, a queen size bed with white sheets and big pillows. "That's her." Connor says with a smile. "H-how did you get this!?" Ian asks, Joy filling his spirit up. "Well, after we got stuck in Fusion, my wife bought another Neuron Pulser to play this game, Curse Blade Online. She also got another copy so I can play with her," Connor starts his explanation ,"so her and several other friends decided to make it to the top of the Tree of Knowledge, the biggest tree of life. We tried a rocket technique, one above the other shoulder, and whenever the bottom person stopped flying, the one above that shoulder starts flying. My wife was at the top, so she got a glance of the strange cage. She took a quick picture before she plummeted down to the ground, once she showed it to me, I knew I had to show it to you."
"Can I keep it!!" Ian says, his eyes pleading Connor to keep the game. Connor smiles ,"of course." He replies. And with that, Ian runs out of the cafe and sprints down the sidewalk, running towards his house. 'Don't worry Heather, I'll save you! I promised you that and I'll keep my word!' Ian thinks, renewing his promise to Heather.
