𝓣he ship shook violently as it broke the atmosphere. The eyes of the prisoner had stopped looking at Ark's princess, finally, as they were instead focused on the screens flashing Chancellor Jaha's message.
"Prisoners of The Ark, hear me now you've been given a second chance, and as your Chancellor, it is my hope that you see this as not just a chance for you, but a chance for all of us, indeed for mankind itself, we have no idea what is waiting for you down there. If the odds of survival were better, we would've sent others, frankly, we're sending you because your crimes have made you expendable" he spoke in his stern voice almost like he was discipling his children.
the words from the chancellor, a man that once told Anastasia she was the best thing on this ship, cut her deep. She knew the words were meant for the prisoners, but his eyes were looking at her, like he was confessing how he really felt about the girl.
"Your dad is a dick, Wells" a voice said a Anastasia watched the screen in anger. She felt her eyes watering up but the soon sadness was mashed with complete and utter anger. Anastasia held her composure watching the rest act like complete asshats.
"The drop site has been chosen carefully.
Before the last war, Mount Weather was a military base built within a mountain, it was to be stocked with enough non-perishables to sustain 300 people for up to two years" the chancellor continued but eventually people stopped listening to him. A kid lifted out of his seat a began floating every cheered him on calling him the spacewalker. Anastasia knew about the space walker she was with the council when he was found and ushered off to lockup. They had to find a way to cut back oxygen supplies to get back the month he wasted.
"Check it out, your dad floated me after all" joked floating over to two of the prisons, Clarke and Wells.
The only friends she was allowed to have in her life, that was until Clarke got put in solitary and Wells was arrested two days ago. She thought she would never see them again, but little did she know that she would be sent down to earth with them, as a prisoner.
Clarke was trying to get everybody to call down as the ship began to shake. Anastasia knew that Clarke would be a better leader, back on the Ark, Anastasia was sheltered and primed for the spot of chancellor, but she secretly hoped that when the day came the Ark would choose Clarke.
That was before Clarke was sent to jail, and most likely get floated. Clarke was stronger than Anastasia, she had a way of controlling people but she also managed to let her heart control sometimes. She never understood why the council chose her instead of Clarke for chancellor.
A sudden drop and pullback from the ship meant that the parachutes deployed but with the three floaters knocked around the ship they hit pipes and lines sending the ship into shock as the ship began yelling
"Total System Failure"
The panic continued for awhile until it all stopped everything.
"Listen, no machine hum" one guy said stringed up on the side of the ship.
Everyone began to unbuckle, Anastasia followed in suit checking on the kids who fell, 99 she counted. 99 left. Two died.
The majority of the group headed down the stairs towards the doors. She was one of the last down but that's where she saw him the guard the moved her onto the ship. He had taken off his hat and flatten down his hair, he still had on his guard uniform but it was unzipped showing the a civilian shirt that was ripped at the top.

People formed a pathway for her, as she walked up to the "guard", his hand was on the lock.
"We can't just unlock the doors" she said causing him to turn around.
"The air could be toxic" Clarke added sending a confused look towards her old friend.
"If the air is toxic, we're all dead, anyway" he said turning back around.
"Bellamy?" a soft voice questioned walking through the people pushing her way past, people muttered watching her move slowly by. She can towards him with tears welling in her eyes. A smile crept on his face.
"My god, look how big you are" he said causing both of them to smile why. She stared at him longer looking at his clothes,
The girl questioned it "what the hell are you wearing?" she looked at the outfit more closely "a guard's uniform?"
"I borrowed it to get on the drop ship, someone has got to keep an eye on you" he said trying to reassure her.
"Where's your wristband?" Clarke interjected.
"Do you mind?" The girl questioned , "i haven't seen my brother in a year"
This caused an uproar amongst the prisoners they began muttering until one shouted, "No one has a brother".
Followed by another voice adding,"That's Octavia Blake, the girl they found hidden in the floor" this anger Octavia sending her at the crowd with her fist up. Bellamy caught her in time pulling her back.
"Octavia, Octavia, no" he started "Let's give them something else to remember you by" he added causing her to calm down and be inquisitive.
"Yeah? Like what?" she asked turn towards him.
"Like being the first person on the ground in 100 years" he said grabbing the lock again pulling it down till the air hissed out letting light fly in, the door flew open blinding Anastasia.
She held her hand up to shield the light but it only block the magnificent sight around her. There was no sign of grey or black, it was all green, vibrant colors showing the signs of life. She never thought that she would see anything like it. Everybody watched at
Octavia took her first steps on the ground, she took a second before screaming "We're back bitches"
Everybody pushed passed Anastasia as they ran into the girl they jumped around feeling the sun on their faces and taking the smell of the air.
Anastasia was cautious, she slowly found her way to the ground as her boots crunched under dirt. She took in her environment, trying to once again hide from the stares as she walked by.
Her fingertips glided over the overgrown grass lighting pricking her fingers as the blades broke in between her nails. She looked up at the sun and took a deep breath finding herself reaching for the necklace that her father gave her.
She took a deep breath, before reaching behind her unlatching the clasp, as she let the cold gold chain touch her palm into a bundle. She pressed it with finger, moving it around as she focused on the black diamond. She collapsed her hand on the chain wanting to throw it into the forest and never see it again.
Anastasia had a new start, she knew she could finally start over once the necklace was gone. She felt a connection to the necklace that blocked her from throwing it into the new eden.
She unwrapped her hand revealing the necklace once again, as she untangled it trying to reach it around her neck, but she was struggling as the clasp kept on falling out of her fingers.

"You need help?" A voice asked that Anastasia recognized, as a hand met hers, on the golden clasp. He connected the two parts of the necklaces, as it settled on her collarbone.
"Thanks" she remarked touching the necklace as it laid down, looking down at the shine, before turning around to meet her helper. A thankful smile was one her face before she saw that the helping hand was Bellamy, the fake guard that forced her on the ship, "Never mind" she shook her head walking off.
Anastasia stood with Clarke as she lightly drew a line upon the map she had. Wells came back out of the ship with a look on his face
"We got problems, the communication systems is dead, I went to the roof, a dozen panels missing, heat fired the wires" Wells said causing more stress to Anastasia after she had learned that they landed on the wrong mountain.
"Well, all that matters right now is getting to Mount Weather" Clarke said.
"See this is us" Clarke began pointing at a tiny dot on the map as she followed the ruler to the second point "this is where we need to get to if we need to survive" Clarke finished.
"That's like 20 miles" Anastasia said looking more closely at the map.
"Where did you learn to do that?" Wells said asking Clarke, he didn't even need her to answer "Your father"
"Ah, cool, a map" a boy said looming over the girls. "They got a bar in town? I'll buy both of you a beer" The boy with goggles added winking at Anastasia. The two girls snapped back, but Wells was the one that grabbed him and pushed him away from the girls.
"You mind?" Wells said forcefully.
"Hey, Hey, Hey, hands off him" a guy said as a pack of guys followed behind him. "He's with us"
Wells backed off with his arms up "Relax, we're just trying to figure out where we are" Wells said.
"We're on the ground, that not good enough for you" Bellamy spoke up with Octavia by his side.
"We need to find Mount Weather, you heard my father's message, that has to be our first priority" Wells retorted
"Screw your father" Octavia yelled back at Wells. "What you think you're in charge here, you and your little princesses".
"You think we care about who's in charge?" Clarke said back
"We need to get to Mount Weather not because the Chancellor said so but because the longer we wait, the hungrier we'll get and the harder this'll be, how long do you think we'll last without those supplies? We're looking at a 20 miles trek" Anastasia said getting everybody's attention.
She had a way with her words, she's been practicing to public speeches since she was 10, her father started her off with little things like simple speeches over earth, but then he made her start presidential speeches.
It was ironic that she hated speaking publicly, especially when it came to the Unity Day speak. She had to close her eyes, and focus on the black as she recanted the speech. Which meant she had to spend more time memorizing her speeches cause she wouldn't dare open her eyes during such performance.
"Ok? So if we want to get there before dark, we need to leave now" Clarke said.
"I got a better idea" Bellamy said "You three go first, find it for us, make the privilege do the hard work for a change" the caused a uproar of agreement in the crowd.
"You're not listening" Anastasia tried to say before Wells stepped in, she let him, thankful that her anger hasn't kicked in yet.
"We all need to go" Wells clarified, pointing at the group.
"Look at this everybody, the chancellor of earth" a guy said from the crowd pushing Wells.
"Hey!" Anastasia screamed at him before getting pushed down along with.
"And let's not forget his council member, the Ark's princess" the guy said walking towards Anastasia before Wells pulled him back.
"Think that's funny?" Wells questioned as Clarke was helping Anastasia up.
The guy lunged at Wells tripping his foot. Wells stood back up only the start limping he struggled but still tried to fight as the guy antagonizes him by backing up and calling Wells forward.
Anastasia feared for Wells's life, he was far from a fighter, Ana always described him as an intellectual. Just like that Spacewalker falls from a ledge that he climb up to in between Wells and the guy. She was glad that the fight was ended before it even started.
"Kid's got one leg, how about wait until it's a fair fight?" He said ending the fight
"Hey Spacewalker rescue me next" Octavia said walking up to him with a glossy smile.
Anastasia and Clarke ran up to Wells to help him out. Anastasia watched Bellamy interaction with his sister. She looked at him better in the sunlight, he had natural tan and his features were rough and sculpted.
He noticed her staring and pulled Octavia away causing Anastasia to feel embarrassed. They lifted Wells up and laid him onto a rock as Anastasia checked out the ankle. She held it slightly touching it and moving it listening to the constant moans of Wells as the ankle seemed to hurt him a lot.
"So Mount Weather?" The Spacewalker asked from behind where Clarke was standing. Anastasia stood up, done examining Well's ankle, "When do we leave" the Spacewalker added
"Right now" Clarke said "We'll be back with food"
"How are the two of you gonna carry enough food for 100?" Wells asked with a ting of jealous. The Spacewalker latched on to the two guys who were at the fight earlier
"5" He said adding Anastasia into the equation. She was about to inject with there was another interrupted.
"Sounds like a party, make it 6" Octavia said strutting towards the group.
"Hey what the hell are you doing" Bellamy asked latching onto Octavia's shoulder pulling back.
"Going for a walk" she sarcastically answered with a laugh.
Spacewalker's sleeve shot up showing off his wristband which was more dismantled than the others. Scratches filled the sides as the scrapped off metal was more light than the outside silver.
"Hey were you trying to take this off" Clarke questioned
"Yeah" he answered, "So?"
"So, this wristband transmits your vitals signs to the Ark, take it off and they'll think your dead" Clarke said letting go of his wrist
"Should i care?" He questioned
"Well, i don't know, do you want the people you love to think you're dead?" Anastasia said, "do you want them to follow you down here in two months because they won't if they think we're dying" she added
"Okay, now let's go" Clarke said as the group set off.
"Are you coming Ark Princess?" The Spacewalker screamed out seeing the Anastasia hasn't followed them.
"It's better if I stay with Wells, Clarke knows that" Anastasia replied.
Anastasia spent every summer of her life working amongst Abby, learning how to heal everything, fix everything. She knows more the Clarke knows about healing and she's the best bet and getting Wells back to normal.
"You shouldn't have come here Wells" Anastasia uttered wrapping his leg up with a part of his jacket that she tore up.
"Fuck that! Why are you here Ana? I know you would never get locked up" Wells said annoyed and trying to hide the pain that she was causing trying to wrap his leg.
"That's not important, all that matters is fixing your ankle" she said dodging the question.
"Yeah, how did you end up with us" Bellamy asked still standing near the duo as Anastasia was patching Wells up.
"Wouldn't you like to know" she snapped, "how do you get the guards uniform?" She asked him turning her head around at him abruptly.
"Just like you said, not important" he replied scratching his neck.
"Exactly what i thought" she said with a little smirk.
Bellamy turned away from her as she helped Wells up and got him walking. She looked at him fixing his posture with every step and she couldn't actually believe it. She helped Wells.
"I think it will be fine" Anastasia said before Wells departed from her, mumbling something about water.
She found herself alone, with Clarke and Wells gone there was nobody else that would talk to her without saying something about her as the Ark's princess.
Back on the Ark, it was a badge and everyone including adults treated her with as much respect as her father. On the ground, it put her high on the pecking order just below Wells.
Her father didn't float fathers and mothers but he was on the council that decided. He watched the people float and he helped Commander Shumway find the people.
It didn't help that many people knew that she was next in line for Chancellor. She was set to lead the next generation, when all the prisoners on the ground would've been long floated by then including Clarke and Wells.
She wasn't a ever going to be part of the 100, she was a princess amongst a crowd of prisoners who only want one thing, her head.

Madness Led by the Hands
‘Great, no… splendid. It was for naught.’ ‘Naught? Depends. If your desire is to send an army of killers our family’s way, yes indeed. If it’s plain survival you seek, then no.’ ‘They don’t coexist?’ ‘What… don’t tell me you’re still all groggy from the fall. Perhaps in novels, but real life is much tougher–––many more times a drag than anyone can possibly imagine. If dusty history is not a reliable teacher for you, then the pandemic surely took that place. At least that one has the advantage you needn’t be literate to savvy how reality always trumps imagination.’ ‘Whatever you say, whatever you say. So… what now?’ ‘Now? Isn’t it obvious? Now we shall survive. And live a good life.’ ‘Ohh… pretty much everything here has something against this little weird wish of ours. Might you consider?’ ‘Then pretty much everything here is a goner.’ ‘Hm, I don’t like the sound of that. Too much trouble, you see. I’d prefer laying low somewhere safe.’ ‘…nobody told you it’s mutually exclusive, no–––or did you forget about that too?’ ‘Fine, then I wish my future enemies all the best.’ ‘They are undeserving of your pity.’ ‘Of course not. That unlucky bunch won’t ever comprehend the reason behind their demise. Just let me smoke in peace and offer my condolence in advance.’ ‘Idem, let me study alchemy, unobstructed by all, if possible. This also includes you. By the way, are you sure you smoke to offer condolences? It seems like an excuse to me.’ ‘I-it is none. Plain truth, you see?’ ‘Seriously, why did I even ask...?’
8 261A Bloody Game
Eric Hunter, a boy who took a gamble with his life on the line, soon finds out that the pay off took a very different direction that he thought. Having just awoken from a pre-op only to find himself confused and all alone in a changed world and a hospital consumed by chaos he must do all he can to survive. In a new world where society crumbles and laws are merely pretty words on written paper, how will a boy who has been restricted his whole life live now that there is nothing to hold him back? When everything turns into a zero sum game of dog eat dog, they'll find that The Hunter is an all too willing participant, but he will soon find out that he isn't the only player of this game. First story I'm posting and I don't really have a cool synopsis, sorry everyone, but this story is just another LitRPG apocalypse. I guess the only difference is that the main character isn't a hero. He's not here to save the world, he's not here to make friends, and he's definitely not here to save everyone. He's probably what the villains in other similar stories would be actually. Just writing for fun, advice or constructive critism is welcomed, writing style prone to change. Warning: Incredible amounts of poor grammar, Gore, Profanities, Traumatizing content, and cliches(I plan to have multiple main characters, maybe this is too ambitious for my poor skills, but it seems like it would be fun to try, the other MCs won't show up until later on.) The cover image isn't mine I just found it online. It's a piece by Stephanie Frey This takes inspiration from a lot of great stories on here, but I find the beginning to be most similar to Blood Lust by DefinitelyNotJormlung. Starcraft and Warhammer 40k and survival world rpg by S_Conary will also influenced this (at least that's my plan if I ever get that far or finish this) Also please stay with me until chapter 3. I suck at starting stories, but have been told I get better as I'm further along.
